Speech recognition Profile Import Export problem

I have problems to import a profile that I put in place.  I'm upgrading my hard drives often, so I'm always import and export of different profiles.  I have run the little program "Speech Profile Manager" and I export my profile (by default and only one), but when I go on the new computer, same version of vista and everything, I get huge errors and it does not matter.  This is how it goes down:

I have not a single program open, just after a clean boot:

1. I run the speech profile manager

2. I click on "Import", I find the file to import and say OPEN.

3. it is said so "do you wish the profile imported by default?"  I click Yes

Image here: http://tagr.org/images/Default_Profile.jpg

4. He said to them 'the microphone settings must be granted before use... You want to now? "I click Yes.

Speech at startup and then switch to sleep mode and that this error pops up:

WARNING: Engine target () of the profile is not available.

Profile data has been imported, but won't work for the missing engine.  If you install the engine at a later date, please fun the microphone Wizard.

And then 1 million errors is the first:

"ERROR: cannot create (Files\1033\L1033.tpc) key in the registry." Please make sure that the speech is installed and that no programs that use speech (for example) are open, and then try again.

If I say no the Microphone Wizard, I get an another huge list of errors, but a different number:

"ERROR: cannot create the key (Files\TrainingAudio-0409-10C902C1-A71A1D60) in the registry." Please make sure that the speech is installed and that no programs that use speech (for example) are open, and then try again.

I don't even have office on this computer.  Profile is certainly not the profile, I spent months tweaking. It's a blank profile.

I tried Yes and no on each option, micro USB plugged out, jack mic 1/8 '' plugged in, I tired it work on 3 different Installations of Vista. I tried to re - export profile several times. I get a similar set of mistakes every time.

Help!

The software that you are using was built in fact older versions of Windows and is not listed as compatible with Windows Vista. I apologize because I was under the impression that you imported files to an old Windows XP system running the Tablet PC edition or Office 2003 because the error indicating "target engine () of the profile is not available." and the use of the older tool. Resource: speech recognition Profile Manager tool

Speech recognition Profile Manager tool is now obsolete, because vocal training files can now be migrated using the Easy Transfer Wizard. The wizard is available for Windows XP via download and integrated in all Installations of Windows Vista.

To transfer voice (including the training files) user profile settings, please perform the following steps:

-Click on the ORB start and type EASY in the search bar, click Windows Easy Transfer icon that appears - this will launch the wizard:

-Click Next - select start a new transfer
-Choose my old computer
-Choose to use a CD, DVD, or other removable media (even to memorize the settings on the local hard disk)
-Select the external hard drive or to a network location (even memorize settings on the local hard disk)

-Under Choose a network location, you can use the parameter to copy the files to your local hard drive by default:

-Choose any user account or my user account
-If you make a transfer from one account to another on the same computer or on a single account on another computer, then you choose the my account of yser option

-Choose advanced options will give you the choice to transfer only specific items in your account
-You can use this for example to transfer only files sounds and speech recognition and clear all other check boxes
-Once your choice, click on the wizard checks to see what items are able to transfer
-At this point, you will notice that all the items that are selected to be transferred, by default all data application, Documents, items of office and preferences, Internet Explorer, and Windows settings are selected whose sounds and speech recognition:

-Here you can choose again customize to select specific items you would like to be transferred after clicking on the transfer of your objects will be stored at the selected location

-To import all items to another profile on the same computer or on another computer, you will need to re-run the wizard and select a current transfer and a new computer, and then point to the location of the files previously exported.

  • Speech recognition profiles while running a program with administrator privileges.

My question is: what voice profile would be a program that is required to run as Administrator allows to refer to my voice.

Basically, I'm running as a normal user with no administrative privileges. I use a program called VoiceAttack that "must", "Run as Administrator". So whenever I run VoiceAttack, I need to enter the administrator password to start the program. I ask because I noticed I had to re-enter my registration for VoiceAttack when I went to run as usual "Run as Administrator". Would this mean that he will then use the recognition to the speech of the Admin profile, or to use the current user profile. If I run VoiceAttack and a word like MSWord editor and try to dictate, they are / can be radically different to represent what I'm saying. I want to train the right profile for the accuracy of the recognition the most.

Yes, use more, I mean use it for daily activities. Write emails, opening programs, etc. Also, just play with it! If you need to fix something, say "correct that" If you just said, or ' correct * word * "if it is somewhere else in the document. He will learn from this mistake in fact and is unlikely to do it again. For more information (and help the computer you understand as well), making the speech recognition tutorial. I really find it very useful. It works in the background while you talk could cause problems like unwanted things being typed and programs opening/closing randomly.

  • import/export problem

    Hi guys!

I have problem with a full import of 11.2.0.3 database on RHEL 6.4 EE (64-bit). I did a full export of my source as this database

    expdp system/pass COMPRESSION = ALL full = y parallel = 2 = ORCL_EXPORT dumpfile = expfull.orcl.dmp expfull.orcl.log = logfile directory

and I tried to fully import in an another RHEL 6.4 db 11.2.0.3 with this line:

    Impdp system/pass parfile import.par LOGFILE = orcl.log =

    by file contains:

    DIRECTORY = ORCL_EXPORT

    FULL = Y

    DUMPFILE = expfull. ORCL.dmp

    EXCLUDE = PATTERN: 'IN ('USER11') '.

    REMAP_DATAFILE =

    ' ' / db/db/orcl_vip/userdata.dbf':'/data/orcl_data/userdata.dbf', '

    "' / db/db/orcl_vip/app11.dbf':'/data/orcl_data/app11.dbf' '...

But each import of time been switched to the previous use of import with a completely different game from the import settings? Why?

Just to say that I have doubts with parallel parameter indicated in the export script. Because the dump file is probably corupted because it did not divide? (it should be something like dumpfile = expfull.orcl%u.dmp? )

I found what is right! I copy script import schema to another path to server and I changed to full import. Although I have change the Oracle script looks like just the script name and the version previous run of him no matter what I have change in it.

So note to myself, always change the name of import script!

  • Part two question about the profile of Windows Speech recognition (WSR) files.

one) where the profile for Windows Speech recognition (WSR) stored?

    (b) for resettlement took place, I save my entire folder "users". Should I always have to use WSRProfile to back up or will be my WSRProfile safely copied and restored with this action?

    Thank you

    Tank

I wish I could tell you the exact location where the profile is stored.  I wish I could tell you the exact name of the file is stored as (perhaps something like.) WSRProfile).  It seems that this information is very secretive to say the least.

If (and I guess they are stored somewhere in your profile) you copy your profile manually or with any Windows Easy Transfer tool. then everything in this profile will be copied across.

If you use the Windows speech recognition profile tool to import or export profiles of speech then they will do the job by taking the default location for files and placing them in the location by default on the destination computer.

  • Speech recognition error Windows 7

Hello world. I have a windows 7 64-bit. My speech recognition does not work. Whenever I click it, it says:

"Speech recognition could not able to start because the language configuration is not supported."

The recognizer language must match the language of the user interface. Please change the recognizer language in the control panel of the speech recognition under Advanced Options»

Here are some of the few things that I had already done, BUT my speech recognition still does not work:

    • First thing I tried to do was to check to see if my region was correct and that my language has been updated with English
    • I had already gone to Regedit and put ctfmon.exe in the correct folders. (When this does not work, I then installed the actual ctfmon.exe, run the file and then merged it)
    • I have restarted and shut down my computer several times for updated software (I also made sure my windows 7 has been updated)
    • I have trained default speech profile several times and has also made a new speech recognition profile in advanced speech options and then also formed the new profile a few times.
    • I had unchecked the box that says, "Examine the documents and mail to improve accuracy" and he then applied on
    • I had set up my microphone already and it works perfectly. (I also went through the speech recognition tutorial)
    • I checked if my speech has been disabled (but it wasn't)

Everything I tried seemed to not work which is strange, because so many people have so much success to all the steps I did above. I hope someone might have a solution for me.

  • Satellite A30: Software Dragon Naturally Speaking speech recognition does not work!

I am unable to get the speech recognition program 7.3 Preffered Dragon Naturally Speaking version to operate successfully on my laptop Satellite A30 P4, using Windows XP as the operating system. It works fine on my PC of similar specs as the Satellite A30. Speech recognition is very poor indeed with the Toshiba laptop. He was sent to the seller twice, but the problem is still not resolved. I know that this Dragon program works fine on other laptops.

He is also unable to play some of my CD.

I would like to know if the portable technology is unable to operate with Dragon speech recognition, or is the problem with the A30 series or with my specific computer?

What characteristic specifications are necessary for the performance of Dragon with success of the Toshiba A30? This microphone is necessary? How many and what types of RAM? An additional sound card can be inserted into the laptop to improve performance?

Help, please! Anyone with experience with Dragon speech recognition? What could be the problem of CD?

[Edited by: admin on 19 June 05 14:33]

    Hello

It's specific software problem and it is not easy to tell what can be the problem. In my opinion, it may be that his card on this unit has no performance you want. Sorry but I have no other explanation.

These problems can be solved simply by contacting the producer of software because they have much more experience in troubleshooting.

It may take a few tries. I have found next field, or go to the next field and press Tab or press return Tab works normally. Saying: Drop Down List or press arrow down should work to go down a list and then say move down one or move to the low four etc.

You don't say what version of Windows you are using or which device (computer, tablet or phone)? Not knowing, trying to go to the control panel. Click speech recognition. In the window that opens, on the left side, click Advanced speech options. Make sure that the language corresponds to your language and Windows keyboard. The illustration below shows US English.

If the language is correct, try changing the language to something else in the list and click on apply. Restart the computer. Then return to your language, apply and restart.

If the above still does not help, try creating and training a new user profile with a different name than your original profile.

I want to get Windows 7 speech recognition to work with British English, but I get an error after the training, that the language of the speech recognition is does not match the language of the user interface. I got the thing defined in the locale UK and speech recognition in British English. Several people have suggested:

    • make a Windows 7 reinstall. Can't do like no Windows 7 no install disc came with the PC.

There is anecdotal evidence that the use of like CCleaner registry cleaners can cause this problem.

Have you contacted the manufacturer of your machine to see what the repair and the machine has recovery options?  Maybe he has a hidden recovery that is quite common nowadays for the OEM partition?  This should be mentioned in the manual or on their Web site.
