Import of vector animation in Director

Hello

I created a vector animation in Flash 8, which includes 3 vector graphics animating on the screen. I saved it as a SWF file and when I run it, it appears fine. But I imported into Director MX and only the vector graphics appears in the animation, the other two graphs are not apearing that I find quite strange. Main tried implementing an EXE file, but the problem persists. Anyone know how to fix this?

I don't know if I should have posted this in the forum Flash or Director.

Director is not yet able to play Flash 8. Publish your animation Flash to Flah 7 or earlier and that she should play fine. Now that I say that, I'm using Director MX 2004. To Director MX, you back up farther in the evolution of Flash.

    Hello, I'm a game developer build a game that has a lot of vector animation (about 13 000 images). The animation came in a 3D program that displays the SWF format. Animations air well read in the Flash Player, but when I import these SWF files into the Flash programming environment (using the file > > import to stage or file > > import library), many, many executives are corrupt - lack of fills, line widths get all funny, etc..

    If I do a straight LoadMovie they look OK, but I especially can't do because I often need to synchronize their environment animation with other game events, add clues to specific frames, etc. Other than go back to facilitators and asking them to re-release of Maya try out different options, someone has suggestions on how to import animations without data loss? Thank you

    OK - this is a fairly common witch hunt. The properties assigned to a clip
    (including enterFrame handlers) are overwritten when you load new
    in this clip. First of all, you have to wait for the content to load completely, then
    assign your manager. Something like this (Note - untested ;))

    Try saving it to a file (WITH active PDF compatibility) or PDF in Illustrator rather than use an EPS.

    If you have an older version of Movie Maker you can import the
    .gif to the file and save it as a .wmv file. Then use the .wmv in WLMM.

    And the free software IrfanView can extract the images of an animation
    file .gif and you can import them into WLMM individually.

    Open a .gif animated in IrfanView and go... Options / extract all
    Frames... Choose a destination directory, choose a format, left click
    the Start button.

    My question is so basic, I hesitate to post it, but I tried to find an answer anywhere without result so...

    Essentially, I'm just trying to move my editable in Illustrator object to animate, and I get an object that has a framework encompassing and is not editable. It seems that it's sometimes, but usually not, and I fear that, despite my new iMac that Illustrator is pretty glitchy so I can't know for sure if I'm doing something wrong or my machine is glitchy.

    I drew a very simple object in Illustrator. Tried to import this object in the library and pulling then from there staging. Also tried just copy and paste into Animate and library scene. In any case, I get the bounding box. I tried pulling the assets that I downloaded from the Adobe tutorial animate, and that it remains editable. So I have to save my incorrectly? But I think I've tried all the variations on record, export, import, etc., and I get a bounding box, except for the few times where I got an editable object, and I can't say why it was different!

    Select the object, then change Break/Apart. It should then look more familiar.

  • Error "operations is not supported on the object." when importing .ovf in the vCloud Director 5.5 machine

    I am trying to import a virtual machine (composed of three .mf, hard, .ovf files), when I try to download the VM, it gets downloaded 100% in the catalogs, but gives an error "Cannot create" as condition to the end and when I check the error in detail, it gives me that "operations is not supported on the object.". Checked the Virtaul Center, I get the same error that 'operations is not supported on the object."in the taskbar. Google it a lot but could not find a relevant solution.

    Just for the record I have DRS activated in full auto mode and only in the aggressive State.

    Can someone help me what I can do to remedy the problem.

    There are two parts to the upload.

    5.5 download dialog box represents the progression to the record of transfer vCloud Director of the FVO.  The download method is via the integration of Client plug-in (which uses the OVF tool).

    If the pop-up window can 100% success, I think that the element of the catalogue shows 50% and tries to download files to vCenter/ESXi as an import job.  If the import job fails, then you need to investigate the newspapers of vCenter/ESXi side for more details.

    I just installed creative cloud.  It seems to work fine, except that when I try to apply animation preset in After Effects by the bridge, it gives me an error message saying "unable to import the xxx.fxx file: filtype not taken in charge or extension.

    I don't mean to import a "file" or whatever that it either... just trying to apply an animation preset to a clip on a timeline of EI.  Never had problems with CS5.  Anyone know what is happening?

    I use Framemaker 10, Autodesk Publisher of Illustrator, Inkscape, Windows Vista.

    I imported a series of illustrations Illustrator Autodesk CAD into Illustrator Editor.  Here, I marked them.

    I then saved/published them as .svg files.

    If I import them directly into Framemaker, they open with the legends at a strange angle and 3/4 of the picture missing. Therefore, I must open in Inkscape, make the entire image to the framework and align the legends.

    Now I import into Framemaker.  The problem is the numbering is difficult to predict.  The labelling/legends/numbering always turn what seems to be "BOLD".  But the real problem resizes the illustrations.  Because there is no way to predict the size of the output of the editor, the illustrations must be resized in Framemaker.  Would not usually be no problem that the illustrations are of svg (vector graphics), but of course it is resized the labelling/legends/numbering, which makes it look really stupid when I have 10 illustrations all with different font size.

    What people do here?  Someone uses vector graphics in their manuals.

    I would really appreciate a response on what I feel, I hit a wall of brick here.

    Why not label in Frame? We do, and it has benefits beyond avoiding the rendering of text and scale of issues such as the ability to reuse the same illustration for multiple purposes with different legends. We use captions embedded in our service manuals (the XML engine required) and depopulate the legends (usually just turn off a layer) for the re-use of this art in the manuals of the frame.

    Let me tell you that I have no experience with SVG, due to the lack of SVG support throughout our workflow, but we use vector EPS widely.

    If SVG includes integrated preview/thumbnail pictures, is there a chance that it's just a problem of preview? What happens to print or return to PDF?

    It is one of the disadvantages of legends incorporated. If the image is not the size, the text dimensionnera arbitrarily, which is ugly, or it won't scale, which is a disaster. More bad news - your weight of race are wide too.

    I would be undesirable any image editor, vector or raster, which did not provide for this basic level of output control.

    Yes, from Pro, AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, Frame and extractions of provider of PDFs of unknown origin. Clean us them in Adobe Illustrator, using extensions specific dimensions and a weight of race that is acceptable for a limited series of up and down the hammer blows. Captions are added to the frame, using an arrow to auto-hide and a bubble of auto hide with a block of text and a paragraph format specific to the use of the legend.

    Is there a way to import flash into captivate and it still be able to call external files (ie. xml sound or video)? When I import a flash in captivate it will not call any external file.

    Just for the follow-up of this. I got files from Marcus on the email and the problem is that the Flash file using ActionScript 3 (AS3) and Captivate 3 doesn't support the Flash AS3 files.

    That's why it would work as expected.

  • Importing vectors...

    I guess there is a simple solution to this...

    Recently I did an animation of 3 minutes with voice over.

    I added a few of the the I created in Illustrator by copy and paste the vector graphics.  This placed CC animate fine.  I then imported the audio.  After that whenever I brought in a vector graphic... the size of the chart on the scenario would be the length of the audio file long of 3 minutes.

    The only way that I could understand to shorten the length on the graph of the file was manually drag the start point and the end point to where I wanted it begins and ends.  Realize now it was great graphics to fill a 3 minute video.

    There must be a way to import a vector file from Illustrator, where the length is not so long on the timeline... or there must be a feature where I can adjust the length of time, it appears at the same time.  Do manually was a pain in the rear (to put it kindly), I had to do this for every chart that added.

    I'm fighting to get started on a project. There are several ways to go about this, but I want to make it more realistic and more epic as possible. In other words, using Director rather than Flash.

    On a basic level, I have a series of short animations 3D 50-60, I don't want the user to select and display with a complete mastery of the position of the camera around the scene.

    I use Autodesk Maya to the scene, but I have no idea how to get an object or animation in Director, then start to work. What types of files should I be using and stuff?

    I'm still in the design and planning for the moment so more interested to know if this is possible. But assistance would also be useful to me.

    the animations are imported, your 3d program. in your Mayan case. When I say its good animation. I mean its good to import and play back exactly as it appears in your 3d software. Director channels similar to flash layers are really not so different. remember your dealing with 3d. You can scale or move the entire scene / member through code or keyframes.

    Director not to make normal or bump mapping. you will have to do what you can with medium low-poly characters. I created techniques to deal with this. Here is one. you will need to enter your mental ray scene in a texture so that it appears in the Director
