Import the schema in oracle 10G
I had imported schema oracle 10g to oracle 7 s. but I found that all the tables are imported.When I looked in the log file, I found the message below.
->

ORA-01659: impossible to allocate MINEXTENTS beyond 10 in the CCD_DATA tablespace
IMP-00017: statement failed with error ORACLE 1917:

Could someone help me in this issue.
Thanks in advance.

Problem all import a schema in Oracle 10 g.
The schema import (with any import data structures only) 7 to 10g Oracle. While importing the schema, it shows "low disk space". but I have 55 GB of available disk space.
Help me if one know about it.I had droped all objects and import again performed and generated the create.sql script. I tried to remove the init/next extensions from the table, however I have > found there are 183 tables.
If you are to 9i or more and if you are using LMT with Autoallocate or uniform size and if you want to export and import these tables into another database, use this:
Prepare the list of 183 tables.
set long 9999999 exec dbms_metadata.set_transform_param(dbms_metadata.session_transform, 'STORAGE', FALSE); -- this will remove the Storage clause for the objects. EXEC DBMS_METADATA.SET_TRANSFORM_PARAM(DBMS_METADATA.SESSION_TRANSFORM, 'TABLESPACE', FALSE); - this will Remove the tablespace clause for the objects. select dbms_metadata.get_ddl('TABLE','TABLE_NAME','SCHEMA_OWNER') from dual; --generate for 183 tables
Now you have the script and run them in the target database.

How to import the schema to a designated tablespace file?
Hi all:
I had created a tablespace and a temporary tablespace of the files for the shema again, but I don't know if I import the schema for the new tablespace or the default file. How can I check?
What is the command to modify the tablespace and when I need to change it?
Thank you.
SQL > create tablespace temp_demov temporary tempfile ' / u02/BIPLATFORM_DB/temp01.dbf' size 5 m autoextend on;
create tablespace temporary temp_demov templfile ' / u02/BIPLATFORM_DB/temp01.dbf' size 5 m autoextend on
SQL > create tablespace TBS1 datafile ' / u02/BIPLATFORM_DB/tbs01.dbf' size 5 m autoextend on
2;
Created tablespace.

ORA-04031 then that he was trying to import the schema to XE
Hello. I have Linux Amazon 'micro instance' EC2 (Yes, virtual machine) which has 613 MB of memory. I installed Oracle XE 11.2.0.2 and now try to import the schema of 11.2 oracle server standard edition:
Impdp system/pwd dumpfile = mydump schema myschema =
But I got the following error:
...
Object type SCHEMA_EXPORT/TABLE/TABLE processing
Processing object type SCHEMA_EXPORT/TABLE/TABLE_DATA
UDI-04031: operation has generated ORACLE 4031 error
ORA-04031: unable to allocate 32 bytes of memory ('pool', ' SELECT job_id FROM v$ datapum... ") (', 'SQLA","tmp") shared
Is - this 613 MB of RAM enough for execution of XE? Here is the output of the memory:
SQL > show sga
Total System Global Area 250523648 bytes
Bytes of size 2225472 fixed
239078080 variable size bytes
4194304 buffers of data bytes
Redo buffers 5025792 bytes613 MB of RAM enough for execution of XE?
The minimum recommended is 512 MB, so in theory it should be enough.
Total System Global Area 250523648 bytes
Which is less than 250 MB. With most of the facilities of Oracle, GR 11, 2, I'd rather have at least 512 MB for the SGA. But we must leave some room for the OS and PGA are an allowance separate memory for the instance as well. Are likely to shrink the PGA and give a little more room to SGA_TARGET or MEMORY_TARGET, depends on what has been tweeked, and which is still in the default settings.
Take a look at the default value of the boot settings, in your alert log, find the last start, the lines between the "parameters of the system with default values:" and maybe a date stamp then, stick it in you, we could can help with suggestions to try.

Import the schema from one instance to another
Hello
I'm going through a pattern of a (production) Oracle instance to another (development) that is located on a different server. I modified this two years ago, and the data are now obsolete. We do export every night of all schemas and I only want to import the schema of "Bob" in dev. I copied the export file to the dev server and used the following command:
Sys IMP / < password > file = server.dmp fromuser = bob ignore = y
The import worked well for a bit, then I started getting errors cannot create scopes on the tablespace and possibly the imp stopped. I check, and of course, like many primary tablespace which is strange since the two prod and the dev team have the same size. In any case, I went in and has doubled the size of the index and the data of the tablespaces and tried to import again.
This time, I got the following:
IMP-00019: line rejected due to the ORACLE 1 error

I use the "ignore = y ' option it will ignore a problem if the object already exists, but it adds the data to import or clear and then add it? I'm guessing that he tries to add data, which are the cause of the errors.
I remember in the past, the only way I got this job was to open a session as long as sys, delete user Bob w/waterfall, and then re-create the user before importing. This seems to be a royal pain in the lacrosse.
Did I miss something on how to properly import the schema?
Thank youThis works. If you have changes of geometry in the table, it's probably best to drop the scheme or at least the table. What if all you want to do is update the data and nothing else has changed, then you can simply truncate and then import the data.

Import the features of Oracle ADF BC with Jdeveloper 11.1.1.2
Hi all
I use Jdeveloper 11.1.1.2 and I try to import functionality in my application.
I'm following the steps of: http://andrejusb.blogspot.com/2008/07/import-functionality-in-oracle-adf-bc.html
I have 2 data model and I would like to import the features of the data model, in the other.
My problem is when I tried: myModel2-> right click-> properties-> project-> edit deployment
I see nothing to filter the myModel2, I see only dependencies of libraries, connections, JAR Options ADF Validation.
If I tried: myModel2-> right click-> properties-> project deployment-> new-> filters
I see only the folders: merges the contents of this folder group, .data 00000000 employee
But I do not see the records that I have (mypackage.test.model.entities).
Where I can the found? Is there a solution?
Any suggestions?
Thank you

Can I export Essbase outline and import the schema?
I want to export Essbase to an Essbase outline and then import the plan to another server to Essbase. Can I do this? It is very complicated?If you want to migrate all of the cube, you could just copy the file .otl from one server to another. If you want to dimension by dimension, you can use the puller contour available at applied olap, or maybe ODI or the outline of the Star Analytics extraction tool. Versions of the first and the third are available free of charge through the genorosity of these companies

Query to control the storage space (Oracle 10g xe)
Hello
Can someone tell me please the query to discover the storage space used by an Oracle XE 10 g server. I want to find storage space is excluded from the limit of 4 GB.
I can not access the homepage of the database, because the remote server where the database is hosted is a Debian machine without GUI.
Thank you.936409 wrote:

Is there a kind of summary of storage available through 'homepage' of the XE.
Even if machine server itself has no "GUI" for remote control, why don't just use you a browser and access the page home/Apex in the instance of XE?
If not take a look at dba_tablespaces, dba_segments, dba_extents views. Maybe start with a sum (bytes) on the group owner.
.. When think about, perhaps XE account file size, even if the space is not allocated to segments. Cross check with dba_data_files (file_name, bytes, nom_tablespace).
