• iTunes 8.2.1.6 with Vista 64-bit Home Premium edition - registry questions

  I've seen a few different positions on issues of iTunes, but none that match mine, so that's.  I am running Vista Home Premium 64-bit on an HP Pavilion dv4 laptop and trying to install iTunes 8.2.16 (latest version) because I sync it with my iPhone (1st generation, if that matters).

  After erasing completely my computer of all previous installations of iTunes by other threads including uninstalling Quicktime and any program having to do with the configuration/program Panel Apple, empty the recycling bin, restart, remove all the programs apple program (x 86) and all through my computer, restart, pure install iTunes latest version (tried this using Firefox and IE).  When I run iTunes, I have several questions:
  1. I get a message saying that "the registry settings used by the iTunes for importing and burning CDs and DVDs are missing.  This can occur as a result of installing other CD burning software.  Please reinstall iTunes. "I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes, a few times.  If I close the window or click on 'ok', iTunes opens, but then there are more questions.
  2 a point iTunes worked my recorder/CD Player no longer works and I had to get a new one from the manufacturer.
  3. I can not download the latest version of the software for my iPhone.  When trying to download or download and install, I get the message, "there was a problem downloading the software for the iPhone"IPhone of Heather".  The network connection timed out. Make sure your network settings are correct and your connection is active network, or try again later. "I tried several times without success, and it is not a problem with my internet as use it for other things before and after/during the download.
  4. once I bought songs from my iPhone, I opened iTunes and click on to search for available downloads - my songs have yet to download on iTunes on my computer.
  5 iTunes crashes
  6. when I run the diagnostic of iTunes, it does not recognize my cd/dvd burner.  I looked for the lower and upper filters and either they were not in the regedit or I deleted them according to other threads Microsoft Vista and then my computer would not restart properly and had to be restarted from a previous restore point.

  I'm at my wits end, you give me all the information I can think possible and just need help :(

  HI - in case anyone else has this problem, I found the solution... it wasn't a problem with iTunes.  Instead, it was a Vista incompatibility problem and protection against viruses.  If you are on Vista 64-bit, a updated driver GEAR Software Inc. for Windows 64-bit (http://www.gearsoftware.com/support/drivers.php) when downloaded and installed fixed the following points:

  1.   The other question was treated when I disabled my antivirus (Kaspersky 2009).

• Prior import registry variable

  Is it possible to get a record that includes registry variables as they were a few months back? Our registry variables became corrupted somehow and I want to import an old configuration.

• Import of questions book Audio CDs

  Hello

  I have some old Audio books on CD that I started to import into iTunes.  I noticed that iTunes brings me multiple options for track/CD info, but basically, it was a guessing game about which are the good, because there has been no consistent naming conventions.  Thus, for example, I have an audio book that spans 22 discs.  I imported all the, but they all appear with the names of the different tracks.  Some are alpha digital and some more descriptive.  All say the # appropriate on 22, but they don't are not all part of one album or compilation.

  I would really like to know how to clean it.  Any ideas?

• Jabra Sound App - import iTunes questions

  I just downloaded Jabra Sound App on my iPhone 6s and opening initially he tries to import iTunes library, but when it is finished there is nothing in the library.

  Can anyone tell how to get this resolved?

  In Lightroom V5 and iMac OS Yosemite, we could simply select multiple photos in an album in the iPhoto application, drag them to the LR application shortcut in the taskbar and Lightroom automatically open you can click Import and this would import photos into lightroom.

  You really need to take a photo of cataloguing and editing program and stick with it. LR or the Apple photo app.

  Choose one and stop using the other. It is counterproductive to use both.

  The problem with the application of Apple is that it takes control of your images when you load/import in this App. By default, it stores your images in a Mac OS X package folder that hides your images on your part.

  With LR when you take pictures with your camera or phone and then copy them to a folder on your hard drive of your choice and then import them from where they are stored or allow LR to copy them into a folder of your choice during the import process. This way you always know where are your pictures of true originals. Instead of some hidden folder of the Package.

  Still used for the CC, I need to know how to what follows.

  I'm able to import the first that populate the layers in the FIRST frame of my calendar.

  you want to know how I can import the rest of the psd so the second will appear on frame 2, the third on chassis etc 3.

  When I try to do anything about it either after that first DSP fills the first image and simply adds layers, follow?

  Instead of import to the main timeline, go to the Insert menu, and then select "new symbol. Then import one of your PS files into this new symbol. Create a new symbol for each of the PS files you want to import. Then, you can place each new movieClip symbol in the main scenario as you want.

• Imported RH8 Question of Word 2010

  Only, I imported several Word 2010 documents in a new project.  There is an area dotted around the content (see image and ignore the blue outline):

  Does anyone know why the content in this box rather that there is not a box at all?  Is it creates problems with the release of the content?

  

  If you look at the HTML code you will find that RoboHelp has created a DIV tag for unknown reasons. It should be OK to remove the tag, but make a backup of your project first, just in case.

• Importing SWF question

  Hello

  I have a swf file ("has") that imports two other sovereign wealth funds ('B and C').  It works very well.

  I have another swf ("D") than imports swf "has".   D import swf has, but suddenly swf has import B and C - a URL error is thrown.

  I played with the settings of publication for a few hours, but have no solution.

  What should I change to make it work?

  What do you use to target A loading?  Try to use the same path for an interpreter to load B and C.

  You may need to use the same path target B and C, because you load A in D.  I only use usually this shpeel when there is a HTML involved, and I'm not sure it applies here, but when a swf is loaded into another file, another file becomes the baseline for everything that loads the swf file, which means that you would like to have to load B and C as if it was actually where D is.

• PS CS5 import images question!

  Hi people,

  I had a problem with ps cs5.

  I opened a document A5 300 DPI and started drawing out.

  After a while, I tried to import some of my .png files in the composition.

  But then he succeeded, Photoshop has stimulated the size to the top of my image... its a 72 dpi PNG and the old

  PS CS4 is used to resize properly and I could just start to work with the original size of the image.

  for now, I'm very unhappy with this issue because I have to resize all the images again by hand.

  This means that I lose quality and it takes a lot of time.

  Would be great if someone could tell me if I can get around this problem somehow.

  This is not a solution, but a workaround gross, using the following script, it allow you to select the document to be pasted, it will open, copy, close the file and paste it into your document...

• Newbie on imported video question

  Hello
  
  I'm trying to integrate a movie in the timeline. I want him to play once and then have the page redirects to another page afterwards (I'm trying to create a splash screen). I don't want the movie player, that's why I chose to include it.
  
  I can import the movie and integrate very well but it loop just forever and I can't seem to redirect.

  File - import - import video... Go to your video, select, then press 'next', then select embed videos in timeline, press 'next' in the drop-down list select Movie Clip, press 'next', select the quality and all that, then finished... your film will be on scene within a clip..., double-click the movie into the clip... Insert a new layer, go to the last frame of your movie and in the new layer select the image directly above the last frame of your movie, press F6, and then open the Actions panel and paste the code that I provided, which will redirect to the new page... • PPT to Captivate 3: importing images question

  I'm creating a Captivate project by importing a project from PowerPoint 2003. After I import them (but not in PowerPoint), some of the slides have weird pictures or words that appear. Sometimes there is a grey blob or black in the upper left corner, there is sometimes words like 'class', 'operations' and 'status' on different parts of the slide, and sometimes there are lines. I think they are something messed up in the code, but I'm not a programmer, so I don't know how to access that or fix.
  
  Has anyone ever come across anything like this? I tried to re - import the slides, but it does not work. And, sometimes, to change the images, so I can't even just wipe them and call it good.
  
  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Well, I got the PowerPoint file had a very subtle corruption which has been fixed by basically extract the contents and paste it into a new PowerPoint project. Converting to Captivate, all so very well shown.

• How to edit issues in imported question pools

  I created a review important to question pools and set up the questions randomly long ago. Also a long time I forgot close enough on the Question Pools work.

  Now, I need to go back and modify the questions in question pools, but not to find an easy way to do it. I don't know where the original files are imported.

  I found what I think is a work around, but it is incredibly long. It is to go to Quiz > Question Pool Manager. Then click on an individual issue to bring up the slide. Then close on the pool manager question to edit this slide. Then repeat the process for the next slide that need updates.

  Is there a better way to do it? Help!

  If anyone needs to know, you go to the window > workspace > Quizzing. Then click on the tab to list the issue on the merits where the timeline is usually. Then you can click the question pool from the drop down and see all the slides.

• eCommerce Product Import question - need HELP!

  I'm trying to import 899 products in the e-commerce module, but it takes 6 + hours and I never get an end message.  Import shows that progress and products receive they added/updated but it takes a long time and I never get an end message.  Any ideas on why this is happening and how to speed it up?

  Try to split the import in 400 points or less to see if that helps to improve your experience.
