• lost my product key and need help

  My computer has a very big problem on Monday, which I was not able to do the system restore.   So I call sony for help because it comes from was I brought my computer with vista installed.  They were unable to do system restore, they put it back to the factory setting.  Now no one at Sony is ready to help.  I had to deal with three very 'ROUGH' REPS at sony.   The problem is that I can't find my product key and they will not help you in obtaining microsoft vista started for me.  I learned that I have to go to someone at microsoft on my problem.  Is it possible that you can help me.  If I am mistaken I think I register my product with microsoft when I received it.  SO, please help me.  Thank you.

  Thanks for posting. If your PC is an OEM which means that Dell, HP, IBM or another company, you will need to contact them to get a replacement disk or key you may need.

• The using Excel and Oracle SQL Developer data import - I need help

  I use Oracle SQL Developer 1.5.1 and I need to import an Excel file into a database table. If I try to import this file into XLS format, fields and headers are properly presented and separated, but if I press the button 'Next', it does nothing - it remains stopped.
  
  I did some research here in this forum and it seems to me that when you try to import a file via the XLS format, Developer SQL has bugs. Is this correct?
  
  If I save the same file in the CSV format and try to import the same file, it moves forward, but SQL Developer is not separating headers and fields correctly. It includes all CSV fields into one - say Column0 and fields 1. TEST; 01/01/2000 under the same Column0.
  
  Save the file in the CSV format is not a problem, by taking a little time. But I don't know how to make Developer SQL import correctly. Could someone help me please? Thanks in advance.

  This is a known bug in 1.5.1 so use 1.5.0 to import from Excel.
  With respect to the CSV, make sure that you have the right setting in the Preferences - Database - settings of export of genres - delimiter of export custom .

• BlackBerry Smartphones strange question need help ASAP!

  I have a strange problem with my Blackberry "BOLD" 4 9900, sometimes when I receive or make a call, the phone is connected and I don't get 2 hear the person at the other end, and vice versa, the only solution for this is hard reboot the phone that is like taking the battery and have it pop back in and then things works very well and it's soething that happens daily is there a way to diferrent without restarting the phone and why it happens instead of 1 m, also I got the replacement of the device like the previous, it was cut and after investigation of blackberry, they gave me a new device. The version of the OS in the mine is 7.1.0.746 (2108), I was invited by the service 7.1 bundle downgrade and backup center 1646, which I am not ready to do what it takes forever and I have to reinstall all the software back and set up e-mail. What would you suggest?

  Also the latest BBM version which is 7.0.1.23 is installed, my phone that has WiFi but unlike previous versions where they had a backup and restore under backup management option that is no longer there, there at - it a way to get that back, I had uninstalled and reinstalled BBM but still does not work and the desktop software is not save BBM groups or pins?

  However the LED stopped working. I turned off the unit and removed the battery. When I put it in the LED lights up red, so it must work. I checked my profile settings and all say that the LED must be on. I have changed this setting to disabled, backed up, and then put it back on and saved and still no action led.

  The second question is attachments on my emails. I can't open attachments, photos, documents spreadsheets nothing. I use desktop re-Director. Is it possible to have attachments that are sent using this unit or any other bits of software? I have the only BB at work so I'm not so sure, establishment of a BB server is viable.

  Hi Folks, I'm building a site with a lot of mc at different depths and am using just code to load a picture from an external source without using_root of commands in one of the mc, it works fine when I test Flash, image loading well etc... but if I test it in a browser the image does not load. In fact if I just export the movie and play my desktop image does not load. It drives me crazy and I spent hours trying to solve this problem with no joy. The one you have ideas?   I'm relatively new to printing processes and did my first book ready for printing. I tried to export my indesign files as CMYK, however the black txt that I placed on a JPEG photograph (used to fill the entire page as covers the front and back) seems very gray and not as vibrant.

  
  

  I realize that this is what happens when you export RGB-> CMYK, but the black txt has lost almost all of its power, while white txt offers no problem what so ever.

  
  

  This is why the cover loses almost all effects. the text in all the pages (because it is a publication intended for short stories / poetry) also loses impact and dynamism, so the photographs appear to be well.

  It's Black display and export, fusion of transparencies space preferences (this is for printing, set it to CMYK) and your Swatch used for blacks. I have my set of values by default and don't ever deviate and know not how no goof it upward. Look at my screenshot, the samples and the results.

  

• PALM TX - Factory Reset question - need help

  I have a PALM TX. The green power button on top seems the PALM TX turns on but not turn off the power. The home on the PALM TX button will literally reset the PALM TX by it turn off and save as a PC. The soft reset by clicking on the reset at the back button works. The hard reset never works it just of upward loads data and time to change initially. I tried a reset which apparently does not apply to the PALM TX zero. I'm doing gift of this device, but I want to make sure that all my information is a first. I think I'll just keep it if I can't find a way to do a factory reset.

  When all else failed, I tried to remove only randomly all the softare or memory on the primary server, but at some point it resets and it won't let me do this etiher. A knowledge of any software I can add to make a factory reset?

  Is this your first Palm?  It sounds like from an older older device file system have been sent to this TX.

  A Hard Reset is recommended.  If your power switch is in effect unusable, I have another solution.

  To perform a hard reset: (Palm Knowledgebase article #887)
  
  By now the power down button, press on and release the Reset button on the back and continue to press the Power button. When the gray Palm logo is displayed, you can release the Power button.
  
  You should now see the warning in 5 languages page. Press the direction upward on the 5-way keypad to perform the task. The Palm restarts several times as it re - install the original programs and erases all data from your previous.

  Once installed the 4.2 of the ACS, the ACS HTML interface leave empty when accessd locally using the icon from the desktop or by typing http://127.0.01:2002, so I'm not able to configure the user name and password.

  When I accessd GBA from another host by: http:// 10.1.115.222:2002 (the 10.1.115.222 is the ACS server address), the prompt "username" and "password" appeared. But not able to loggin as I don't have username and password configured.

  When I tried to access locally by: http://10.1.115.222:2002, IE still leave empty.

  Note: OS: Server 2003 in vmware esx, IE 8.0, Java,.

• Need help importing music mp3 file to my windows movie maker

  I've added music files to my films on windows, Director of music from cd that I ripped to my Windows Media Player, never had any problems.

  Today, I bought several songs from Amazon mp3 in order to add to my Windows Movie maker, and they will not import the Windows Movie Maker program.  They play on my Windows Media Player, however, will not import Windows Movie Maker.  The files say they are mp3 files and Windows Movie Maker says he takes these files, however, I get aRED X and the message 'could not be imported'.  Help!  What can I do to get these files to import to my movie on Windows Movie Maker.
