  Disable the graphics processor of the Camera preferences and restart the application.

  • Mac OS: Choose Edition > Preferences > Camera Raw.
  • Windows: Choose Photoshop > Preferences > Camera Raw.

  I have worked with LR to PS changes for some time - beginning LR3/PS4 etc etc - and never a problem with the display in LR color changes and posting in PS. I recently installed SP6 Master Collection (just before had been editing files .raw LR4 in PS5)- and after sending the .raw (.orf) in PS6 image file looks like someone had moved a cursor "Tint" on ten units to green. I looked in every issue of space recalibrated, color, check a number of forums and tutorials of LuLa LR4 and LuLa colorspace tuts as well - and can not find a solution. If I export the file as an original .raw - and then open in PS ACR, for example, through the same color shift is displayed. I can send the LR4 TIFFs for edit in PS6 without problem. I can export the .raw to TIFF file - and it looks good in PS. I updated all the relevant software this afternoon. I use a Windows 7 machine/12 GB of ram/Core i7. Help/comments/suggestions/guidance would be much appreciated.

  Based on this, I found the file I needed was at the location of LR4.1, but NOT in the program data / Camera Raw loc. (seemed to have only one tenth of the profiles in the loc. LR4 records) - then I copied the file from the first in the latter - there's now "camera Standard" as a camera in ACR7.1 profile option.  Therefore, it seems to work now.   You must import raw images in Lightroom.

  Go to the file menu > import photos and videos > as the place where the raw files, select source > choose Add if they are present on your hard drive and to import.

  Open Photoshop and select in Help menu: subject of Presets > Camera Raw. You should have 9.1, but it sounds like you have 8.0, who was loading on some systems. You must manually install 9.1 or reinstall PS

  Your assumption is correct, Capture One, Lightroom and other third party raw processors have their own exclusive process and profiles to render the raw data.

  They do not make permanent changes to the raw data and save changes to a .xmp file or to a Lightroom catalog file.

  The path of the file is the full description where the file is located in the language of the operating system, including drive, directory and file name and extension.

  

  In the above example, the file path combines the two circled items-"E:\Webpix" and "BleedingHeart.JPG", the path to the file would be "E:\Webpix\BleedingHeart.JPG".  If you do not have an equal sign in the name of the file, you must have one in the folder or the equivalent.
