Imported video is not good length.

I have a .mp4 file which takes 27 minutes. When I import the video into my library and place it on the film, it is only to 06:05... I increased the length of the slide to 27 minutes, and nothing works!

Hello

You can check the resolution (Frame width) and Height of the FLV video that you converted? (Right click on the video file > details of properties to check the width and height). The FLV video file can be any resolution that your original mp4 video so degrade the quality.

You can try to select H.264 (inheritance) and click on "custom". Manually change the width and height the same as your original video and then convert it. It converts it into Mp4.

Please try and let me know if it works for you.

Kind regards

MILIN

  • Why import video is not grayed out for a new Flash project?

I tried in vain to load any MP4 (H.264 encoding), FLV or F4V files into a new project. I tried to import FLV and F4V via the Library Import and import files to the stage menu choice but all result in error message "one or more files were not imported because he had problems reading of their. Just download Flash CC today (February 23, 2014) and cannot even start on my project, because I can't load a video in the library or scene. I watched the tutorials, but they assume that I can choose the import video... greyed menu choices. Research of the discussion did not help me as most of the discussions are off-topic or 2 years or more back.

Thank you sinious. I had QT installed 7.5.5. The problem was not. Like a bufoon, I created a new HTML5 canvas, which is impossible to import videos. When I went to an AS3 Web everything has been as it should. And it was a joy throughout the country! Detective Conan.

  • Imported video does not not in the IOS and mobile devices

    Hello

    I made this interactive graph:

    74989 http://ING.dk/Infografik/Grafik-se-de-graverende-fejl-PAA-kampflyet-Joint-Strike-Fighter-1

But the video does not respond within the IOS and is very slow on iPad.

What could be wrong? The video is a MP4. Should it be set to preload?

    Hope for your answers/advice.

    Martin

This is the problem of a mobile html5 video.

It does not preload and does not autoplay.

It can be played by a direct action of the user of the event (such as click)

There is no workaround for this solutions and its made so that people on mobile, do not lose there is mobile internet on the videos.

  • Why imported video will not play at all?

Admittedly, I am a novice to Premiere Pro CS4 on Windows Vista.  I have an ATI Radeon HD display driver 4350 (and I've just updated the driver).  I have two problems: 1) any video I try to import and play gets stuck on the 1st frame and play not at all... format does not matter and 2) when I drag something down to the timeline, all calendar items disappear and the scene goes black until I go the file-> save when it all reappears as if by magic.  It gives me grey hair and I'm too young for gray hair!  Any ideas?

Also - when executing Sherlock Codec Detective, I noticed some broken codecs:

    Decoder h.264/AVC MainConcept (Adobe 2)

    Encoder h.264/AVC MainConcept (Adobe 2)

    (Adobe 2) MainConcept MPEG encoder

How can I get this problem?  Reinstall?  I noticed on some forum games can spoil the codecs... my son has installed a Steam game called Alien Swarm I uninstall...

    Thank you!

    Opusf15

For the Nikon images, you will need the MJPEG CODEC. MainConcept and Morganare two of the most popular, but you probably have one on the disk utility of Nikon. It can be installed with the driver, or can be installed with a utility program.

For the GoPro helmet camera, see this ARTICLE.

  • Imported video does not play after the publication

Sorry to create a new thread for this, but I looked those already existing in this area, and none of the solutions or workarounds have helped. Here is my scenario:

    • I have a large video file imported my project CP6.
    • The source file is format F4V, after having converted using Adobe Media Encoder.
    • I am able to get a preview of the video in Captivate, but when I publish and try to see from a different computer, the exit is blocked, displays "connection error".
    • When I view the SWF file on the local computer, it works fine.
    • I set the server as a trusted location on my count remote.
    • I checked that the project has been published for the same version of Flash my remote computer is running.
    • I tested on my remote computer using IE9 and the latest version of Chrome.
    • I use a trial version of Captivate 6.0.1.240.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I managed to solve this problem by adding a MIME type in IIS 7.5 for the following file extensions:

  • Importing video in Vista using the Panasonic PV-DV910 camcorder

I'm trying to import video from my camcorder in Vista using Windows Movie Maker and it gives me an error saying: "import video could not find a compatible digital camera...". "My camcorder is on, on the way to VCR, connected with a Firewire 800 ExpressCArd adapter. My computer sees the Firewire. I went through all the troubleshooting. I searched many Web sites. Some recommend a registry cleaning, I don't want to do another source. Can someone help me? Thank you!

    Hello Mtkamom,

Thanks for posting on the Community Forums of Microsoft Vista.

You can follow the steps below and check if your camcorder is detected by the computer.

    1. click on start
    2. in the start search box type "devmgmt.msc" then press the Enter key.
    3. in the Device Manager, check if you are able to see the "IEEE 1394 Bus host controller" and that it works correctly.

If this is the case, you can try a different cable or on another computer to make sure that the camcorder and the cables are good?

If this does not work you can pull out the card, remove the card Firewire Device Manager or uninstall it and put it in and reinstall. You can also try to temporarily disable any security software installed on the computer and try to check if your computer detects the camcorder.

Also, you can try to contact Panasonic to see if they have any updates on this issue or a new software to install on the computer.

    It will be useful.

    Thank you and best regards,

  • import video?

Hello, I'm new to Flash and I try to import a video, but the option "import video" is not available. How can I change this?

You must use the HTML5 Canvas document type that does not support for videos from now on.

If you want to import video in Flash project, Goto file > new... and select Actionscript 3.0

  • Importing video to 2.7 K for a project of 1080; Not good quality

    I'm on FCP 10.1.4.   Mounting on a MBP running OS 10.9.5 15 ".

I imported a few beautiful images of GoPro 2.7 K 60 fps (59,94 p).   When I play it in the Viewer on the upper right of the screen, it looks great.   Strong, bright color, smooth.

I created a project of 30 fps (29.97 p) 1080.   I intend to export to this resolution that I find he dribbles well and seems very well on most of the big and small screens.  However...

If I take a video from the browser and drag it to my project, the quality is seriously degraded.  When I play now the same clip of the project rather than the browser, now it is very soft, the colors are not as nice.  It just looks like another shit GoPro video and not the high quality that looks outside the project.

I did not export it again, but the experience passed, my export to compressor bring the fidelity of the original.

I am aware that I am down the video resolution and frame rate, however, I've seen a few videos 1080 and 720 even very crunchy, so I don't know why this happens.  I thought that if I gave the CPF in addition that he needs, he could extract something nice.

Can I trust that compressor will clean as much as possible?

Should move on to a project which is 2K or 60 frames per second (to match the max resolution of the image collection that I have.)?

I don't know some of my images is only 720 p.

Is there a setting of FCP to have spend more time has translated the video of the native resolution of the resolution of the project?

Thanks for any help.  This poisoning me for awhile.  Web searches raise obvious answers to this question, so I was hoping someone here could help me.

Encrassante the Viewer to a higher quality and make the project. Generally, I think, unless you intend to use the extra size to crop, most users edit in the original size and create a master of the size before the revision downward on export.

  • Premiere Pro CC 2014 incompatibility of imported video length

I have a problem in Premiere Pro CC 2014 where the audio and video get out of sync as far, you go to any clip.  In troubleshooting, I noticed that first is not properly read the length of the imported video.  Windows reports the right length, just like VLC and the handbrake, but the first shows a time shorter than the real file of about 30 seconds.  I have included information from file of MediaInfo and first here.  Windows reports a (good) length of 01:56:39.  This happen on two different Windows computers both running the latest version of Premiere Pro.  Has anyone seen this?  I tried to look for similar problems, but have not found anything like this.  Thank you!

This is because the clip has a variable rate. First handle very well the variable image rat.

You must convert; use the hand brake.

    =======================================
Movie Maker has problems with the .mpg files... best bet would be
to convert the .mpg files before importing the .wmv format.

Several formats are apparently compatible with
Movie Maker, but the most reliable choices are:

    Photos - bmp
Video - wmv or dv - avi
    Music - wma, wav, .wmv

    See the following article:

Movie Maker 2 - Import MPEG files
    http://www.Papajohn.org/mm2-importing-video-MPEG2.html

    The following freeware can convert:

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

    Format Factory
    http://www.pcfreetime.com/
    (FWIW... you can uncheck
all the boxes on the last screen)

After downloading and installing Format Factory...
Open the program and choose an output folder...
(this is where you will find your files when they are
    converted)

Drag and drop your video clips on the main screen...

    Select "At?" / OK...
(the? is the format of your choice)

Click on... Beginning... in the toolbar...

    That should do it...

You kind of mutilated the terms, but if the camcorder needs a firewire IEEE 1394, your PC cable card cannot accommodate a.  There may be some devices that claim to USB conversions, but normally, they will not work with a camcorder.  It seems that another PC is going to be necessary or another camera.
