Importing CDs to iTunes then iPhone 6 s

I bought a CD in a store

He jumped into my CD of my laptop

iTunes says "want you import this CD?

THEN I say yes! because I want it on my phone

It imports OK

appears in my library

but I can't copy it to my phone!

I will not sync as I always, and I mean always end up losing playlists and music.

Can someone help me to import MY CDs on MY iPhone please?

It allows me to drag on and a number appears on the trail with the number of tracks, but when I let go on my device it disappears just without error or message.

Please can someone help me because it drives me crazy!

  • The music does not list CD imported under artists on my iPhone

I lost so much time just trying to get my existing iTunes visible/playable music.  I have imported CDs into iTunes, sync my iPhone and iPad but they do not appear in the recently added and do not appear in the title of the artist. For example the Glynne Jess, I cry when I laugh album has any, but in the artist list under Glynne Jess I can only see and play one (Hold My Hand) previously downloaded from iTunes.  When the album of newly added disappearx, so I am unable to play because he is not visible anywhere else.  Also when I sync, iTunes says it copied album art, but it didn't.  I don't see the icon of music note double for each album rather than the correct images. The online guide to music gives detailed instructions on the use of music on devices to play existing tracks to iTunes. It focuses just on joining Apple music and how to use it, I don't want to do. I want to just keep using iTunes the way I always have.

I tried to put this issue on the world of music, but when I clicked on the Post, I get the error:

"You are not allowed to create or update this content."

Why am I not allowed to post on this part of the community?

  • Imported CDs do not appear in iTunes

iTunes 12.3 with El Capitan on MBP. I am importing CDs, they get the checkmark, but then they don't show up.

I'm ripping of several CD I want to add to a playlist, but it has been difficult. Initially they showed in "recently added", but now they are not found in iTunes, even after a search for them.

If I click on the CD at the top of iTunes icon, I see the album with the Green checkmarks for each track. But I can't add it to a playlist, and when I click on 'my music', the album is not found.

    Please help, thanks.

PS this has nothing to do with the iPhone...

Just tried signing and in return, no luck. And if I restart iTunes, the Green checkmarks disappear, and I have to re - import. This just happened three times now: I import, notches display, but the album is not in iTunes, so I restart, and then check marks have disappeared, so I reimport. Frustrating.

  • I backed up my iPhone 3GS on iTunes. Back up seemed to go OK. iTunes then prompted me to update the iOS that I did. The phone then crashed. I did a factory restore. The backup that I did was not there. Can I recover the loss upward in anyway?

I backed up my iPhone 3GS on iTunes. Back up seemed to go OK. ITunes then prompted me to update the iOS that I did. The update failed. My phone broke. The only option available was to restore to factory settings I've done. The back up I had made was not available for restore. It contains precious family photos and videos. Is anyway to recover the lost or any part of it from my PC Backup? Any help would be appreciated. Best wishes Giles

If you go to iTunes and watch your backups, you don't see one that was made today? Did you see an indication of the backup was not successful? What version of iOS is the device that you have been asked to update? It was not an iOS for the iPhone 3GS update in a while. Regarding the photos and videos, you had never taken the time to import them on the computer?

  • I can't update itunes. then my iphone doesn´t work on this computer.

I have an iMac 9.1 10.5.8, 2.66 GHz processor and 2 GB of memory. He already has snow leopard, but I can't update to other software and I can not update itunes. then my iphone doesn´t work on this computer. What is the latest software that it supports and what are the steps to update the software and itunes?

    < re-titled by host >

This machine can run the latest version of Mac OS X (10.11). You cannot update directly from 10.5, however. If you have already upgraded to Snow Leopard and have used the software update to get updated (10.6.8), then you should be able to install El Capitan from the Mac App store if you have enough disk space.

It would be wise to upgrade the RAM of your machine before attempting it, however, that 2 GB is barely enough to run the OS, never mind all the applications.

This machine can be maxed out at 8 GB of RAM.

  • iTunes does not, to play or to import CDs

I use Windows 7 64 bit and the last v9.0.1.8 to iTunes

When I insert a CD in my drive, iTunes starts but will not display the CD nor can I play or rip tracks. If I run the diagnostics it says that it can find and read the CD, but still I can't see or play. Oddly, I can burn audio CDs in iTunes without any problems at all. I gave all of its permissions to iTunes, I tried it in administrator mode, I also tried to reinstall it. Windows can see the end CD, such as Windows Media Player and any other noise but not iTunes.

I always had this problem on this computer for a reason, even when I had Vista installed. Help, please!

Hi Meghmala, thanks for your response.

I followed your steps but unfortunately there was no registry entry low filters, so I rebooted the PC in any case and iTunes says the registry entry that he used to read CDs is missing and to reinstall iTunes, so I completely uninstalled and reinstalled. I did another check of diagnosis of in iTunes and then he said that he had no CD, so I've merged back also the backup.reg in the registry. Also makes no difference, and in the end I had to use system restore. Unfortunately, it seems that I have to live with the problem.

    Thanks for your help anyway.

  • Why have I lost all CD imported from my iTunes library

I lost all my imported CDs and all the selections of my iTunes library painstakingly compiled over the years of effort. More than 110 GB of music disappeared from one day to the next day when I upgraded the software at the end of 2015. How can I get these without restarting the whole process again? The only thing left in my library is the purchased Playlist. Can someone help, please? Thank you.

On some occasions, your iTunes library database may be affected by an iTunes update - nobody seems to know exactly why, although its been suggested that it would be the result of a conflict between the installation of iTunes and some anti-virus software program or other processes that monitor changes to files on your computer (for example the Windows Indexing service').  The content of your library, i.e. the media files and folders should be affected, but without a database iTunes file doesn't have information or links to these files.

To restore your library to a working state (which may not be necessarily as it was immediately before installing the update) see user turingtest2 on the empty/corrupted after upgrade/crash iTunes library.  For later use, you must create and maintain a backup of your library iTunes, and always update your backup before installing the iTunes update.  For a suitable and recommended method, see backup your iTunes for Windows with SyncToy library .

  • IOS 10.0.1 and 12.5.1 to Windows 7 iTunes, the iPhone no longer appears as a device on the computer when I plug it, even if it syncs very well

IOS 10.0.1 and 12.5.1 to Windows 7 iTunes, the iPhone no longer appears as a device on the computer when I plug it, even if it syncs very well. That's how I used to synchronize and access my photos from my phone to my PC.

    * Is there a way to make the phone reappear?

    * Is there a different way recommended to synchronize the pictures from the phone directly to a PC? I don't want to use iCloud.
