  I'm trying to load a file of 700 MB TDMS in DIAdem, sampling frequency of 4 channels 10 Hz for 4 days. When I drag the file in the data portal, tiara freezes, its on a 2GB machine, a file that is located on the desktop, not running other programs and it is went 50 minutes without being able to load before I did leave. seems to work fine, although on smaller files. I was wondering if this sounds normal and if anyone knows a way around him.

  You can defragment the TDMS file loading in DIAdem programtically:

  TDMSFileName Sun: TDMSFileName = "C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\GrRomaiS\Eigene Dateien\LabVIEW Data\ttt.tdms.
  Call DataFileLoad ("" & TDMSFileName & "","TDMS","" ")

  Please note that in this case, you will need to replace at least"<" and="" "&"="" in="" your="" filename="" (not="" contained="" in="" example="" code="">

• Custom properties are not displayed on the data portal

  In my version of return of DIAdem (2011), there are features to display personalized data portal properties.   In fact, this feature has been removed.  R & D wanted caused more confusion than benefit, and I agree.  I'm sorry for you and others who liked the feature that has now disappeared.  When tiara 9.0 released custom in the data portal properties shows their data types, but this feature has been removed in favour of simplicity.  I often miss this feature, but it's for the greater good.

  I have a table in memory VBS and would like to create a channel in this data set-based data portal, I currently use this construction of code to copy the data:

  ' intChannelCount is the number of samples

  ' MaxHold is the array of data to be copied

  ' oFFTMaxHold is the string of data that is the target of the data

  It's rather slow (and if data preview is open in the data portal) still a lot slower.

  If you have DIAdem 10.2 or later, you can use the following command to do this with a command - by the way the table of values as one of the parameters - order this is a common situation when you query records of a base you want to load into the data as data channels portal.

  ChanRefsArray = ArrayToChannels (ValuesArray, ChanNamesArray)

  In the case of your example, it would be:

  Call ArrayToChannels (MaxHold, Array (oFFTMaxHold.Name))

  The mswmm file is the project file, not a video.
  Think of it as a recipe for a cake, it only tells you what to do with the ingredients, but does not include the ingredients.
  The mswmm file tells the computer to look in a certain folder to use a video or audio file.
  If you move the file, then MM knows not where is the file, then you must tell it, by right clicking on a red x on the timeline and then choose search for the file.

  Hi hari,.

  One thing that is very important when you use the Excel activeX interface (in case you need it) is good termination of worksheet/workbook/lettering handles.

  You need these handles to specify what cell in which file you are trying to access.

  If you are unable to throw each handle you have, then you will be left with ghost Excel process in your task manager, devours your system's memory.

  Thus, when debugging of your application, open the Task Manager and the watch as Excel treats created/destroyed and make sure that you end up with zero Excel process running when your application is closed.

  Also consider the case of fault for your program. Check that your exit routes did not omit any termination of handle.

  Names of files are created by the programmer. It would be best to ask them what are the meanings of the names.

  There is no need in step 2 that u mentioned above. I donot find useless a webservice?

  The process will be launched by the CSV file, then using the processing activity, you can put it in the DB.

  There should be no way where you can manually test it by giving an entry. All you can do to test is to put the file in the folder you mentioned when configuring the file adapter.

  You just need to have the composite as below:

  ReadCSVFile---> BPEL--> DB adapter

  And in your BPEL process:

  Recieve--> Transformation activity--> call activity

  In my data acquisition system, the columns represent the channels and each represent line analysis of the data for all channels. It is easy to get the file write by add or replace a file exist. But sometimes I want to just overwriting new data in the last line in a file exist. for example: I have DAQ with 10 channels and scan all channels for three times in each race. So my data file will be 10 columns and 3 rows of each run if I put the file "append". next time I want to record the data by "crash" (so a single row of 3 scans) in the same file but just crash to 11th place (so I'm going to keep all the data I had previously).   Why do you need to read the entire file?

  You can:

  -get the size of file with 'Get file size' or 'file info '.

  -set the position of reading with "Set file position.

  You should subtract the file size 1024, define what the position of the file read 1024 bytes. Now analyze this 1 KB of data, find the last line, set the file again, write to the file. No need to read the entire file.

  And as previously stated:

  How Labview should know the last line in the file without looking for him? You can do this research better than a simple brute force attack

  In OBIEE 11.1.1.6, when I export the report to EXCEL file and open this file to view all the data, it is correct.

  I searched for a question of space on one of our virtual machines throughout the morning.  I finally found that the virtual machine has two snapshot files (total of 120 GB) on the data store.
