  In this case, I would say that you have an incompatible add-on. Maybe even the old folder columns add-on that used to power this feature.

  Menu (alt + T) tools > Add-ons and disable everything that looks like it can interact with the files pane.

  You can usually find the Favorites IE imported into a folder ("Internet Explorer") at the bottom of the file Menu bookmarks or Favorites bar folder (bookmarks > show all bookmarks).

  If there are problems with importing IE bookmarks in Firefox, then export favorites in Internet Explorer to a HTML file and import this file in the Firefox Bookmarks Manager.

  If you don't have the menu bar in Internet Explorer, and then right-click on the toolbar above to activate the menu bar.

  OK, you can try to import them into the bad module. Gifts (depending on where you have to) must be installed in a particular module. When you try to drag and drop a "Preset" on LR icon in your dock, it should automatically install in the right place.

If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to re-import the file.

  Thanks for posting in the Microsoft answers Forum.  Usually, when you try to play a video in Media Player if you do not have the right codec Media Player will automatically download and install the correct codec if it is available.  Since this is a Power Point presentation has video embedded in it?  If so, try to play the video file outside the Power Point presentation and Media Player will go out and get the correct codec if you are connected to the internet.  Here is an article from the Microsoft Knowledge base that explains Media player codecs and configuration to automatically download:

  How can I remove the filename of movies that I import from my camera - the film shows the name of the file on the screen and then disappears slowly?  Using Win 7 Pro and Home premium 64-bit.   Thank you.

  Edition - shows only upward on one of the 2 computers I have / use.  Any movie file I import was that if camera, animation or imported from youtube.  All formats - slight differences in size, fonts and the location.

  Hi and thanks... Videos out of my camera I'm just drag and drop to the desktop.  They are avi - cam is a Canon about a year.  Others are .mov of 3D software I use - Cinema 4 d. I save animation software in the appropriate folder.   Youtube videos are made with YOutube Video Downloader and files are for most .flv but others come too.

  All of these files open when doubleclicked and the name of the file is very large print at the bottom of the screen may be 4 seconds then fades.  I've not edited somehow - they are the first "raw" video camera or animation software.

  It is not consistent, but especially it happens only on one machine - Win 7 Pro with all the updates.

  Media player to see if you can change a setting.

  For example, VLC displays the name of the file... and you
  can go to... Tools / preferences / All / video...

  Scroll down to and uncheck 'Show Media title on Video'... / Save.

  The next time that VLC is started the video title should not be displayed.

  Is there a way to bypass the ridiculous situation of not being able to import PSD files in LR without using the function to maximize compatibility?

  I find it odd that two products from the same company may not talk to each other without me increasing the file size significantly. A typical PSD for me is about 130 MB, but to maximize compatibility turned up that shoots up to more than 200 MB - multiply it by thousands of files and there are plenty of cloud taken over just so that two sister programs can communicate with each other.

  Someone at - he found a solution?

  Hi - for some reason, files of my card SD imported into lightroom, but referencing only the SD itself card and as files within the usual on my macintosh HD library, of course, when I eject the SD of my iMac, lightroom do not know where the files are more. I also saved the DCIM folder on desktop and tried to import from there, but again, it is important files directly to my address in LR, which means that I have to keep my SD card.   When you perform the import, you must select the COPY option, and under the Destination on the side right, you must select a location on one of your hard drives.

  For existing photos, select all your images in the grid view, and then click the Reset All button in the quick develop Panel. Then click on the auto tone button to correctly apply this feature.

  To prevent this from happening in the future, choose Lightroom > preferences > Presets (Mac OS) or edit > Preferences > Presets (Windows). Uncheck the apply auto tone adjustments.

  Support for the camera was only added in Lightroom 6, you can upgrade to level or you cam d/load the latest DNG Converter and convert them to DNG format that will be readable in Lightroom 5...

• No sound from imported m2ts file

  I imported a file in a project of first CS5.5 m2ts, containing the DTS audio and h.264 video. The audio is apparently not approved. How is it, DTS is not supported? How can I convert possibly the source?

  I don't think that you will never get the Audio DTS to import flows. I don't know about ripping the software or editing program audio that allows to efficiently extract this Audio stream, but suppose that there are some out there. If I do a DTS job, it's only for Audio extra on DVD, so have never been confronted with extract/rip it from a multiplex file. Maybe others will have a workflow and program suggestions for you.

  You can connect otherwise?  USB or FireWire or love at first sight?  You can connect both machines and start the one you want to transfer to target disk mode.  If your other machine is up and running with an account on it and you just want to move files, you can simply drag and drop the FRO the machine mounted TDM, or you can use the migration wizard.

  Or, if the other machine still starts and runs, you can start both computers and connect to the same wifi network and share the hard drive like machines on the network.  Access them in the finder on the new machine files and drag-and - drop, or use the wizard migration, on wifi.

  Movie Maker has problems with the .mpg files... best bet would be
  to convert the .mpg files before importing the .wmv format.

  Several formats are apparently compatible with
  Movie Maker, but the most reliable choices are:

  Photos - bmp
  Video - wmv or dv - avi
  Music - wma, wav, .wmv
