• DB connection - user SYS with wrong password

  One strange thing I noticed with the SYS user as Oracle 9i (who has never worked on earlier versions), it is that I can connect to SYS as SYSDBA with wrong password user as well! Please guide how to avoid this...
  (I have looked for a solution online but could not find any :())

  There is nothing wrong, and nothing should be, IMO, prevented.
  When you connect to the server as a user in the Group dba (Unix) or group ora_dba (Windows), you are an advanced user and authentication of the o/s applies to you, and you don't need a password .
  Login as the owner of the software (oracle) all the time, what do many DBA, is a bad idea in any case, you can remove anyufile o/s level.

  Strategies to avoid it:
  -Make sure that your account is not in the groups I mentioned
  or
  -disable authentication of the o/s of editiing sqlnet.ora

  The two procedures are documented.

  Finally, note someone who has root access can move easily.

  You must run the psu catbundle apply that script inserts at the end entry in the history table.

  It seems that the value for minextents for your tablespace is located at 56 and tablespace doesnot have enough space to allocate as much quantity of memory regarding the contiguoes extensions. Then, either you need to add a data file tablespace or resize the existing table. You can also try the decrease of the Minextents value for the tablespace if you think this tablespace has enough space to accommodate segments. Better would be to add a file or resize a file.

  I have a strange situation where I can't activate on a materialized view query rewriting, I try to create. I have all the privileges granted to me.   Column virtual itself is not a problem, but its definition is the question.
  You have defined a virtual column as
  TO_DATE ("CEF_DATE", "MON ' JJ HH24:MI:SS")
  This format makes the function as non-deterministic and violates the restrictions for the query rewriting.
  If you can change the format of TO_DATE ("CEF_DATE", "MY DD YYYY HH24:MI:SS'"), it will work.
