Impossible to burn CDs of data using Windows
I can't burn a CD of data using Windows, even if I did in the past. I am still able to burn CDs of music via iTunes and the reader has no problem playing discs; However, when I try to view folder to a blank disc or attempt to add files, the computer does not respond. It shows the circle of rotation for a while and then does nothing. I tried updating the driver, but that did nothing.
Since I am still able to burn a music CD in iTunes, I guess it must be a software problem rather than a problem with the hardware of the player.
My laptop is a gateway, model MT6919 and I am running Vista Home Premium
Any help is greatly appreciated
Hi new,
1. you receive an error message?
2. did you of recent changes on the computer?
Method 1
Uninstall any third-party DVD burning software installed on the computer and try to burn CDs.
Method 2
It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer are in conflict with the burning process.
I suggest that you try to clean boot and check if it works.
To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
See the link below to learn more about how to clean boot.
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

Reset the computer to start as usual
When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:
1. click on Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.
2. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click continue.
3. on the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.
4. When you are prompted to restart the computer, click restart.
I hope this helps!

Impossible to burn CDs in the virtual from Windows 7 computer
Running VMware 8 Workstation, with Windows 7 Ultimate-64 host. I can't burn a CD in the virtual instance. Tested with XP and Windows 7 VM and obtain the same resluts. Recently upgraded to Workstation 6 and had no problem burning CD in any virtual instance. In addition, recently upgraded to a new card mother/cpu, etc, as well.
to use a CD inside the virtual machine to burn CDs, it must be connected as a SCSI device using any legacy emulation.
He has worked in all versions up to end WS 7In WS 8 there is a bug in the driver CD that appears in the use NOT "legacy emulation.
As far as I know your only option is to use an earlier version or join a CDwriter USB directly to the guest.

I can't burn CDs of music with windows media player
I always burned CDs of music in media player, but now when I drag the music to the right area, it does not say how much space is taken. Example: 58 minutes to 80 minutes. It still reads 79 80 minutes. When I hit the button burn, it crosses the movements as the fire up to 99% complete, and he throws the disc, I get an error message. "Windows media Player encountered an error when burning. Check the burner is properly connected and that the disc is clean and not damaged. "How can the engraver not be properly connected when it is integrated into the computer? My husband thinks I got a virus on the computer, but I do not. The fact that media player is internal, it doesn't have a driver of t - he? Any help is welcome. Sue

At least for this specific question, new GEAR drivers solved the problem... maybe not wrong to try...

I don't know exactly what problem you are having with the Clipboard, but the following link can help for a potential problem. If this isn't the case, answer with more details on what is the problem. Also, if you try to copy the screen to the Clipboard, know that, in addition to PrntScrn, Windows 7 has a key "capture tool" (type Snipping Tool in the search programs and files box immediately above the button Start. http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/Windows_7-windows_programs/where-is-the-Clipboard-on-Windows-7/3bf718eb-5c47-E011-90B6-1cc1de79d2e2 Re this thread, you can also just paste in a painting or another application to see what is in the Clipboard.

Impossible to move all the data using BT to Satellite C50-A-19 t with Win 8.1
Hello
I have a portable Satellite C50-at-19 t, that came pre-installed with Windows 8.1.
I cannot transfer files on any of my other Bluetooth devices paired with the laptop, but I can transfer files from laptop to other devices, it seems to work only one way.
The PC does not display a file download, and the transmitter device says not sent the file. I looked in the Bluetooth settings but find nothing much in there. other devices work properly with each other.
I hope someone can give me an idea of what I'm doing wrong.
Thank you. John.
> I'm unable to transfer files on any of my other Bluetooth devices paired with the laptop, but I can transfer files from laptop to other devices, it seems to work only one way.
In your case, I recommend to check others like Firewall and antivirus security settings.
I suggest you to temporary disable the antivirus and firewall and then check the result
Perhaps BT file transfer is blocked. -
Is it impossible to get Adobe Flash updates using Windows 8.0 now?
For people who are unable to update Windows 8.0 to 8.1 for various legitimate reasons, they are stuck on Adobe Flash 20?
Windows 8.0 has reached the end of life for Windows updates and it offers no updates beyond Adobe Flash 20,0,0,272.
Again, this is for people who cannot in any circumstances Win 8.0 to 8.1 update... So, if the Windows 8.1 is not an option...
Has anyone anywhere ever find a way to manually update Adobe Flash for IE 8.0 Windows?
Hello
Given that Microsoft integrates Flash Player in Internet Explorer, the stand-alone installer does not work. I'm not aware of all the options to upgrade to Flash Player for IE in Windows 8 short of upgrading to Windows 8.1 or 10.
