Impossible to disable the 'Welcome' window in Photoshop CC 2014.2.1.

Hey everybody!

Please excuse my English because it is not my mother tongue.

Recently, I downloaded a trial version on Adobe Photoshop CC 2014.2.1. When I opened Photoshop, this screen came.

51rkj12.png

He was consuming too much RAM and it shifted on my PC. It happened not in older versions.

After looking around on Google, I discovered that it can be disabled by going to the new features and scroll down and select it not show this screen at startup.

But this not available in my window box.

Is there any solution for this? Cause its quite annoying.

Any help would be appreciated!

If I understand correctly, it cannot be disabled in the trial version.

I'm on the latest version of CC, running on a macbook pro running OSX 10.10.4

I'm in bridge and select a sequence of photos, tools/photoshop/load files into photoshop layers. After you load the layers, I find myself with the home screen loaded on top, like a modal window with no way to close it. The top of the home screen seems to be 'under' the OSX menu bar, so I don't have visibility where access to any button "close".

I tried to scroll to the bottom of the Welcome screen and selecting the "do not load at startup", but then I can't save this option because the only way I have to get out of photoshop is force it close because the Welcome screen doesn't let me do anything.

    Perhaps relevant:

I'm running on an external monitor, above my mac pro screen. The two screens are active and act in the way that they appear in the Visual extension of the other (for example I 'up' from my mac pro screen to get my big screen). I noticed that lately (maybe beyond 6 months) cc apps became not good to recognize where they are run and open dialogs on the wrong screen.

As I see it, * Toshiba Hdd recovery * does not solve your problem. You checked with the other memory, but it always freeze. so, I guess that a hard drive can be a troublemaker. If your laptop is still under warranty, you should contact them (SAV)

  • SideWinder X 4 does not disable the left windows key in games

SideWinder X 4 does not disable the left windows key in games.

When on the windows desktop, he will have the disabled windows key and a small box will popup in the lower right corner, saying he is.
But if I press it, then in a game (fullscreen), it will be the game tab down, put me to what is "beneath" and open the start menu.
I tried both Intellitype 8.2 and the latest Microsoft Mouse and keyboard Center but they both react in the same way.
The Bank or the profile is set to number 2 (game) and of course, the windows key is disabled in the settings. Even if I turn it off on THE 3 banks it'll always exhibit the same behavior.
I tried to implement the individual profiles for the games that I play as well but no luck there either. And re - install the drivers does not help.
It completely defeats the purpose of this feature. Ideally, she would work on the other hand, being active only in an office environment and disabled in games/full screen applications, but it should at least work as announced, following the rules laid down by the Bank or the current profile.
In addition, the auto feature does not work with these games or the other and some applications as well. Am I alone in having these problems? I'm ready to completely reinstall windows because it's *.
    Any help/ideas please?

  • How can I disable the Welcome screens?

I'm sure I'm ignorant, but how can I stop popping welcome screens everytime I open a program?

    Hello

In order to disable the Welcome screen, please scroll to the end of the home screen, you'll find a checkbox that says: do not show welcome screen even once

Please check only the box and that should turn off the Welcome screen from popping up, whenever you open the application.

  • Get rid of the Welcome screen in Indesign CC 2014

Impossible to find a discussion about this since 2011.  When I scroll to the bottom of 'News', 'Start' or 'tips and Techniques' there is no checkbox "disable."  It is a huge waste of time.  I could even live with the 'Create' screen at startup but can't get there either.

Dang, I didn't read the title of this thread pretty closely.  For InDesign CC 2014, the link provided by Salah is correct.  To save you from reading through it all here what you need to do:

(1.) be sure that you are actually connected to creative cloud of in InDesign.  See the Help menu and be sure to see you 'Sign Out (your ID Adobe here)'.  If on the contrary, it says "Sign In", and then select this menu item and connect properly.

2.) now exit then restart InDesign.  At the bottom of the "New" tab, you should now see the option to disable the Welcome screen.
