Impossible to get to change the desktop theme

Customization, I put my wallpaper to an image on my computer, and it shows that it is the setting chosen and the chosen theme.  I put the color setting to be the lowest intensity.  However, the image does not appear on my desktop.  The office is rather dark.

What have I done wrong?  I want the picture that I chose and that shows selected as successfully as my desktop wallpaper appears on my desktop.

Thank you for helping me get this straight.

    If you can't change the wallpaper - start > Control Panel > accessibility > Ease of Access Center. Under "Doing things on the screen easier to see," uncheck the option 'delete the images of background (if available). Choose 'save '.

    Run a scan for malware by installing the tool following "Malwarebytes" from the link: http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html

    Make sure that you update the Malwarebytes tool before you run the analysis and then run a full scan and remove if infected files found on the computer.

  • don't get rid of the classic theme - I HATE TABS squared & I miss the toolbar at the bottom that tells me where I'm trying to go to a new page.

    Make sure that you run not Firefox mode full screen (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: Command + SHIFT + F).

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance

  • Tried to change the desktop image and lost all of them.

    iPhoto was opened I was looking for an image specific, but also decided that it would be a good idea to multi-task with my iMac and tried to change the image of the desktop at the same time. Apparently, it wasn't the best idea. While seeking photos through system preferences, a pop-up asked if I wanted to pass something. I'll tell you... I didn't read entirely, but thought that he wanted to reopen iPhoto in System Preferences, since I had the app open on its own. I clicked 'OK', which seems to be the point of civilization to collapse, as it appears that I lost all the photos stored in my iPhoto library! What I did and how can I fix? Everyone?

    Hold down the option key while launching iPhoto and using more select Library window select the correct iPhoto library

    If somehow you deleted it (nothing you described in your question can result in the deletion of the iPhoto library) and then restore your backup iPhoto library until you have removed

    Change the screen resolution

    Screen resolution refers to the clarity of the text and images on your screen. At higher resolutions, items appear sharper. They appear also smaller, so more items adapted to the screen. At lower resolutions, fewer items adapted to the screen, but they are larger and easier to see. At very low resolutions, however, images may have serrated edges.

  • How to change the classic theme of the Windows 7 theme window?

    I changed the theme of my windows 7 Stater to classic window but I 'can' t get it back
    on right click to see the "screen resolution" and "gadgets".
    in panel appearance shows only "adjust screen resolution."

    I went to Services and "themes" has been disabled. So I've enabled and rebooted the computer. I was still classic, but this time when I went to the control panel (all) > display > color scheme (for the umpteenth time) he included Basic option, whereas before it was only conventional and contrast.

  • Album art WMP12 will not change the desktop

    Whenever I have on my desktop of my Windows 7 Ultimate 64 music, album art remains the same. Months, I had a song on my desktop that had its own art from the album, and now that I moved the song in my music folder, any song that I put on my desk, rest the same album art as a single individual. But when I play a song from my record music, WMP starts and I just get the music for the album art note. How can I clear the desktop album art? I had some songs on my desk with album art and I play and it comes up with album art, but then a song that does not, it goes back to album art of the song of the first.

    X.MP3 is the first song that the album cover is on and xy.mp3 are all the other mp3s. and when xy.mp3 is playing, album art of rest x.mp3

    Please help, it's boring.

    Thank you

    Hello sterlingsilv3r,

    If you had saved to the desktop Album art, you remove the arts album before moving them to your music folder?

    You should try to remove all the Arts of the Album you had saved on your desktop.

    Make sure Show also that hidden files and folders also protected operating system files, and then check if hidden files appear on the desktop.

    1. Open Folder Options by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, appearance and personalization, and then clicking Folder Options.
    2. click on the view tab.
    3. under Advanced settings, click Show files and folders and then click OK.

    Also uncheck "Hide protected operating system files"

  • How to get Freecell on the desktop

    You can get as part of the Collection of Solitaire of Microsoft App Freecell. But this version is worthless since it works only full screen. Here's how to get Freecell to run in a window on the desktop of Windows 8.

    Copy the files name freecell.exe and cards.dll from a Windows XP computer to a folder on the computer of Windows 8.  Create a shortcut to freecell.exe.  You are finished.  I have not tested on the rest of Windows XP card games, but I think it works as well with them.
    Bill

    Thank you, thank you.  I like Freecell and the version of Windows XP is the best day for my money.  I did what you say, then created a shortcut and that settles on the desk of the desktop Windows 8.1.  FreeCell and the shortcut work beautifully.

    I got on the other two files: freecell.chm and freecell.hlp, but I don't think they do anything.

    If so many people like this version, and I think it's true, why not Microsoft do so so easily accessible?  They already have it.

  • Change the Flekristal theme

    I found this theme on the exchange of Flex:

    http://www.Adobe.com/cfusion/exchange/index.cfm?event=extensionDetail & loc = en_US & extid = 1229 # 018

    I like it a lot and I would use it, but I need to make some changes.  But being a newbie completely, I do not understand something.  Most of the reference CSS selectors an embedded resource:

    AccordionHeader
    {

    disabledSkin: Embed (source = "flekristal_skin.swf", symbol = "AccordionHeader_disabledSkin");
    downSkin: Embed (source = "flekristal_skin.swf", symbol = "AccordionHeader_downSkin");
    overSkin: Embed (source = "flekristal_skin.swf", symbol = "AccordionHeader_overSkin");
    selectedDisabledSkin: Embed (source = "flekristal_skin.swf", symbol = "AccordionHeader_disabledSkin");
    selectedDownSkin: Embed (source = "flekristal_skin.swf", symbol = "AccordionHeader_downSkin");
    selectedOverSkin: Embed (source = "flekristal_skin.swf", symbol = "AccordionHeader_overSkin");
    selectedUpSkin: Embed (source = "flekristal_skin.swf", symbol = "AccordionHeader_selectedSkin");
    upSkin: Embed (source = "flekristal_skin.swf", symbol = "AccordionHeader_upSkin");

    }

    Inside the 'source' for the theme zip, there is this file "flekristal_skin.swf".  But I can't find the original works of art, or the actionscript or MXML skin source code.  In other words, the original content is missing?  How it would then make changes... or is the idea that you get the compiled skin and you cannot make changes...?  Help!

    The SWF seems to be a file generated from flash resource, so unless you have the flekristal_skin.fla of source file, which will be opened in adobe Flash, you will not be able to change the active file. You can try to ask the developer of theme for the .fla file if you want to actually change the assets.
