Impossible to import JPEG files all of a sudden.

My computer sees them very well, they are in RGB, everything should work, but they are all grayed out in my import window. They worked fine yesterday.

Fixed it by launching while holding down the SHIFT key.

Yes, you might have to reduce the resolution.  Try checking "Resize to fit" and choose something like 300 x 300.

  • How to import JPEG files at 100 dpi?

The basic layer of my film is a jpeg at 100 dpi. When I import into the scene, Flash converts it to 72 dpi, which makes all too small. I use Flash MX. Later versions of Flash are supported 100 dpi and if so, which? If not, what can I do?

After importation, open the transformation Panel where you can see that they are one percentage other than
100% in size. Just type in 100%.

  • Impossible to import PowerPoint file in Windows Movie Maker - codec error

I am tryping to import a PowerPoint file into Windows Movie Maker to burn it to a DVD, but I get a codec error

Cannot import the file C:\Users\Karen\Documents\2009 Fundraiser\Yellow Rose 2009.ppt MWP because the necessary codec to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to re-import the file.

How can I find this codec and install it?

    Blond highlights Hello,

Thanks for posting in the Microsoft answers Forum.  Usually, when you try to play a video in Media Player if you do not have the right codec Media Player will automatically download and install the correct codec if it is available.  Since this is a Power Point presentation has video embedded in it?  If so, try to play the video file outside the Power Point presentation and Media Player will go out and get the correct codec if you are connected to the internet.  Here is an article from the Microsoft Knowledge base that explains Media player codecs and configuration to automatically download:

I hope this information is useful.

I am doing tests on GBA through the CLI.

I would like to import files from a remote repository to test the command "import data".

I've created a repository of the CLI and when I do a repository 'show', I can see the contents of the directory.

When I run the command 'import - data', I got the error "unable to import the file""repository remote «repository_name»»

    What could be the cause?

I use a linux sftp server.

  • Impossible to import PSD files to LR

    Hello

Is there a way to bypass the ridiculous situation of not being able to import PSD files in LR without using the function to maximize compatibility?

I find it odd that two products from the same company may not talk to each other without me increasing the file size significantly. A typical PSD for me is about 130 MB, but to maximize compatibility turned up that shoots up to more than 200 MB - multiply it by thousands of files and there are plenty of cloud taken over just so that two sister programs can communicate with each other.

Someone at - he found a solution?

  • Impossible to import predefined files, I already used for Lightroom 5

Cannot import predefined files, I've already used Lightroom 5.  I use the trial version of 5 LR, the cause of the problem?

    i_m_eric:

OK, you can try to import them into the bad module. Gifts (depending on where you have to) must be installed in a particular module. When you try to drag and drop a "Preset" on LR icon in your dock, it should automatically install in the right place.

I would like to know if it works!

  • Lightroom CC / 6: problem with importing JPEG files!

Just installed Lightroom CC (6) the trial created a catalog, added to an existing folder, and this is what I have observed.

    • Each photo shoot folder contains two folders: Original (DNG) and shared (JPEG format)
    • Original DNG all have exactly the same thing. But shared JPEG images are not get imported properly. Even the [Reset] button fails to resolve all the sliders to 0. And once I have manually set all sliders to 0, then the picture looks very good. Check this IMAGE.
    • When importing, I made sure that no default develop settings have been selected. 'None' was the option chosen for all the options that are available.

I guess the problem is, some develop parameters get automatically applied to image (JPEG) without meaning to, and this is why the [Reset] button fails to do what it is supposed to do!

Anyone else having this problem? OR I'm doing something wrong here?

You may need to disable the Auto apply toning in LR Prefs:

Otherwise, the parameters already can be incorporated into the files JPG to reimport cannot help.  Back to zero must change the values to what are your current default settings in LR.

  • Import JPEG files are corrupt

I make a slide show and when I matter JPEGs, will import a large amount of them, but on the screen, they appear with a lot of green, blue and purple highlights, in fact, it is on the only colors you see. I can't find something wrong with the files, open them in other applications CS4 very well. I tried different ways to import and re-import, but it does not change. The same files always appear all the corrupt. I opened the files in Photoshop and still saved in JPEG format, and it's always the same problem.

    TIFF is the same way.

If I open the photos in Photoshop and save as a PSD, they work very well (except the much larger file) and PNG files work fine as well.

I have hundreds of photos to put in this very long slide show, I'm looking for a solution without using batches all files to save as a PSD that will each to the top of my hard drive space.

    Thank you!

What are the dimensions in pixels? I don't remember the exact number, but I * think * SD notice is not greater than 1000 x 750, and it is for when you want to zoom in on the image

Otherwise, you may want to consider pictures that are sized to the actual size of a DVD screen

But, given that I don't yet use for slideshows, it may have dimensions in different authorized pixels

  • Impossible to import music files into wondows movie maker. Help!

Hi, im trying to import some .mp3 files in movie maker (with vista) and I get an error message saying that "it contains no valid audio data" and others that are important, I can't use as windows the song is more than 24 hours, when the song is actually 4 or 5 minutes. Why this is happening and how to fix it?

    Hi r.achtel,

What is the format of the file that is having problems with the length of the song? This only happens with this specific file format?

Please provide the complete error message you receive.

Step 1: You can follow the procedure presented by John Inzer, MVP Saturday, August 8, 2009 17:50 in the link below:

    http://social.answers.Microsoft.com/forums/en-us/vistamedia/thread/8e6841de-4EDB-4AF6-B179-3498b2461f6d

Step 2: Run SFC (System File Checker) Scan

The System File Checker (SFC) utility allows administrators to perform an analysis of all protected resources to make sure they are the correct version. Whether SFC should find all incorrect versions in one of these protected resources, SFC will be replaced by the correct versions.

You can still run a SFC scan on the windows vista computer. To run a scan suite SFC as follows:

    (a) click Start and in the start search bar type cmd, right-click on the command prompt icon in the box programs and then click Run as administrator.

    (b) at the command prompt type sfc/scannow , and then press ENTER.
