Impossible to install KB2596672 and KB2596871 code error 57

original title: cannot install security updates

I have never had problems to install the updates.  Now I have 2 updates Office 2007, KB2596672 and KB2596871 who are unable to install this that gives an error code of 57.  I tried them separately with the same result.  I ran the program of Mr. Fix - it, and it makes no difference.

The suggestions above didn't work, but I had an idea to have problems with an update of Apple Safari and speak to someone in their forum.  I changed the permissions for all users to full control that I'm the only one who uses my computer anyway.  I then tried to install updates and they worked.  I changed the permissions in Regedit.  Thanks for all your help!

I tried many internet research to try and find a solution to these problems but have had no success.  I tried the following:

    (1) re-intsalled .net framework 4

    (2) run the System File Checker that could not so I tried my windows disk, but it could not start because the message says that two updates were waiting to be installed

Now, I'm really worried that I have a big problem with Windows.

Well, any help that you can give to avoid reinstalling my system would be appreiated.

    Thank you very much

  • Impossible to install W8.1, impossible to install the KB2862973 update with error code 80073712, cannot connect to the microsoft account

I have 64-bit Windows 8 and all these problems started when I tried to install the 8.1 update.  Whenever I try to go to the store to update to 8.1 I get the error message saying "we were unable to connect to the store. This could have happened due to a server problem or network connection has expired.  Please wait a few minutes and try again. "So I looked at this topic and you have tried all the tips of help from Microsoft, convenience stores, store transparent cache, etc. etc. etc. etc.. I can not connect to the store at all. Now I can't change users to a Microsoft account because it tells me that when I try that "we could not connect to the Microsoft services right now.  If this problem persists, look for 'referee' on the start screen. "I also performed this task without success.  Then I have a Windows update KB2862973 that fails to install and gives the error code 80073712.  I looked for solutions to this problem, and those who have tried unsuccessfully.  I really need someone to tell me how to fix all these issues, because I believe they should be linked.  It is a desktop pc Dell that is connected to the internet without any problem and is only about 1 year. I am tech savy, but need HELP!

    Thank you

  • After I installed XP SP3, get code error 0 x 80040509

I have a valid copy of Windows XP with Service Pack 2 installed on my computer.  When I install sp3 and reboot the computer, I get the error 0 x 80040509 code.  I can't open a session with this error code.  I had to reformat my computer and reinstall XP with sp2, which is where I am now afraid to try to reinstall sp3 again.  I downloaded sp3 from microsoft.  It's on an old bridge with a 350 mhz processor.  What can I do?

It turns out that I had a non valid copy of XP.  It looked official, but according to Microsoft, it was a bootleg copy.

  • Impossible to install Windows 10 keep getting error 08009000F - 0 X 90002

    Can not install windows 10 am getting error 08009000F - 0 X 90002

    Try to upgrade manually:

    Task of pre-required

When you make significant changes to your computer for example updated operating system, you must always back up. See the links to resources on the backup by clicking the link for each version of Windows you are using: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1

    then

    then

    • Turn off (preferably uninstall) your Antivirus utility before you perform the upgrade.
    • Reboot several times, and then try again.
    • Disable the general USB peripherals (for example - smart card reader).
    • If you are using a SCSI drive, make sure you have the drivers available for your storage on a thumdrive device and it is connected. During the installation of Windows 10, click on the advanced custom Option and use the command load driver to load the driver for the SCSI drive. If this does not work and the installer still fails, consider switching to an IDE based hard drive.
    • Perform a clean boot, restart, and then try again.
    • If you upgrade to the. ISO file, disconnect from the Internet during the installation, if you are connected in LAN (Ethernet) or wireless, disable both, then try to install.
    • If you are updated through Windows Update, when download reaches 100% disconnect from the LAN (Ethernet) Internet or Wi - Fi, then proceed with the installation.
    • If this does not work, try using the. ISO file to upgrade if possible.
    • If you are connected to a domain, go to a local account.
    • If you have an external equipment, attached to the machine, unplug them (example, game controllers, USB sticks, external hard drive, printers, peripherals not essential).

If the problem persists, select the option to keep personal files only, this means that you will have to reinstall applications.

    Hello

Is that scratches or stains on the cd/dvd?

I you suggest to create a folder on the desktop and then copy the contents of the Cd / Dvd in this folder.

You can also try to remove the letter R of the Explorer:

    (a) right click on the install disc and click on Explorer,r.

If you are able to browse through the cd/dvd and if you are able to copy the contents of the cd/dvd, you can use the files that are copied to install the game.

If you are not able to navigate or to copy the contents of the cd/dvd, I suggest contact you the provider of game for the replaced cd/dvd.

    Hope the information is useful.
