Impossible to receive calls at the SCV from the outside

Hi, we have our configuration of telepresence consisting of vcs (control + Highway) and c40, sx20 codecs. I can make outgoing video calls, but someone calls us (as [email protected] / * /), then it goes down. Any idea.

Use DNS lookup tools and locate in the maintenance of the motorway--> Tools menu help you diagnose the problem, and the event logs.  If someone connect you to [email protected] / * /, yet there is no indication in the event logs or historical research, then their call attempt is not even to reach your Expressway.

Use DNS lookup for xyz.com tools to check that the appropriate SRV DNS records are configured to do this (Administration Guide check the VCS to the appropriate DNS entries).  If there is no DNS SRV record, this numbering method will not work for incoming calls.   You will have to configure these entries, or change your incoming connection string to [email protected] / * /.

That's the short of it.

I contact at $T and ask them if the parameters have been changed because they changed from BellSouth.  You can also connect via webmail and see if the username and passwords are working.  For Windows Mail, you can try to remove your email account, compacting and repairing the database (see www.oehelp.com/WMUTil/), and then add the account back again and see if that helps any.  In addition, since you have deletion problems, you can check first for 3rd party program interference such as antivirus software, which has major problems with Windows Mail.  See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3

Hello and welcome to the Skype community.

Your account shows that you are trying to call the # Norwegian xxxxxxxx00 who is referred to as a cell phone #. If you feel that the classification is incorrect please let me know.

It is a common scam. Do not give them information, do not give them access to your PC and do not go to all the websites that they suggest. One moment. See:

  • Ways to receive calls from address book on Cisco Telepresence SX20?

I got many unknown calls on my teleconferencing equipment and I would like to know if there are ways to block these calls or even perhaps only to receive calls on the address book.

This has been discussed before in the forums many times more.  Take a look at some of the following threads:

If your endpoint has a public IP address, depending on the configuration of endpoint, you could get behind a NAT device or restrict access of your firewall to allow only specific IP addresses this conference you with.  If you use H323, you must also disable SIP endpoint.

Then, it is not back to normal. If the device cannot get a cellular connection, then you have to check with the carrier and to replace the SIM card, because it could have been damaged when the device got wet, or the appliance is damaged to the point that it won't work. If a cell phone cannot make or receive calls, it is far from normal.

  • SX20 block unwanted call during the session of the video conference

    Hi all

It should be your advisor on it

I have a set of SX20 that is configured as a standalone device (No. CUCM, VCS).

Its work fine, able to make and receive calls through the IP address.

Things in our video conference meeting, is sometimes a unwanted number would call us and disrupt the flow of the meeting.

I don't know how they get our IP address, but we don't expect their call.

Is there any way a setting to block many unwanted call us or disturb us during the video conference meeting.

Is there any configuration that I need set the SX20 itself to prevent the unwanted phone number

    Please notify

    Titebiket

This is probably a scan SIPVicious or similar, which is how the call is 'you find '.

I have not tried it myself, but there is a selection option or not to allow incoming calls when already in a conference call:

     Conference 1 IncomingMultisiteCall Mode: Deny

  • Unable to receive calls from Apple Watch, using WIFI AT & T calls, when the iPhone is turned on, turned off or in Airplane Mode.

I work on this issue and wanted to involve the community.

I have tests the functionality Apple Watch and have been unable to solve my problems with WIFI call. I use the AT & T and I am connect to the strip of the 5 GHz on my router Xfinity.

I am able to make/receive calls from my iPad and Mac laptop when iPhone is off / Mode plane; However, this feature does not work on the watch. I can make and receive calls from the watch when the phone is turned on.

Another problem is that I am not able to send and receive messages (blue or green bubble) of the watch - once again when the phone is turned off or in flight Mode

I'll copy in 2 portions of the Web site: http://help.apple.com/watch/

    http://help.Apple.com/watch/#/apd0443fb403

If your Apple Watch is in range of a Wi - Fi network that the iPhone is connected to before, you can always do the following (even if the iPhone is off):

    • Send and receive digital messages Touch
    • Send and receive messages using Messages
    • Make and receive phone calls (if you have active calls, Wi - Fi, and you are within range of a Wi - Fi connected to your iPhone before)
    • Check current weather conditions
    • Track your inventory

    http://help.Apple.com/watch/#/apd2fe746e86

Make calls via Wi - Fi

If your cellular operator offers Wi - Fi calls, you can use Apple Watch to make and receive calls over Wi - Fi instead of cellular network - even when your pair iPhone isn't with you or is disabled. Apple Watch comes to be in range of a Wi - Fi network that is connected to your iPhone in the past.

To see if your carrier offers Wi - Fi calls, see the article Apple Support phone with Wi-Fi calls, then enable the calls on your iPhone and Apple Watch Wi - Fi.

Note: You can make emergency calls via Wi - Fi, but when possible, use rather iPhone over a cellular connection - your location information will be more specific.

Enable on iPhone Wi - Fi calls. On iPhone, go to settings > phone and turn on Wi - Fi calling and application to other devices.

Enable calls on Apple Watch Wi - Fi. Open the Apple Watch app on iPhone, tap My Watch, tap phone, then turn on Wi - Fi calls. If you do not see the parameter, make sure that you have activated calls on iPhone Wi - Fi.

Answer please if you are able to perform any of these functions! And any troubleshooting you can think!

    AspiringAppleGuru wrote:

I have... to connect to the 5 GHz on my... router bandwidth.

    Hello

These features are not available because Apple Watch cannot connect to a network of GHz Wi - Fi 5.

If your watch is not connected to your iPhone via Bluetooth, but lying in a 2.4 GHz Wi - Fi network your iPhone plugged in before, the watch can connect to this network and you can continue to use certain features, including Wi - Fi calls (when it is supported by your operator, you already have in place).
