Impossible to uninstall java and can not install the new version

I tried to uninstall the Java Update (7.07.0) and which does not seem funny (7.07.0) the program uninstall in victory. 7 lists this update 128 meg. in size.

I have a couple of other programs and drivers will not uninstall, but they give me a code error or the reason why it will not uninstall. will deal with them latter.

This computer I bought used and had some virus top problems, however, cleaned the drive with every thing under the Sun to make sure that this should not be a problem, I am running Windows security essentials. operating system is Win 7 Edition home premium Service PK. 1.

I came across this error after cleaning the virus disc and went to uninstall java on the advice of technical support of windows information. on uninstalling Adobe flash player and Java after the removal of virus.

Thanks in advance for anything that is useful on it, and have a great and happy new year!

If the PC was delivered used, the first thing you should have to do a restore to factory state using the recovery disks of the decision makers, or the restore partition hidden, since you don't have any idea what the origonal user could have made on the pc for example kiddie "pawn."

In all cases you don't uninstall the earlier version, you the last version which removes any previous version in the update/install process
