  The Sony A7M2 ILÇE is supported in the latest version. You have reattached. Check the Help menu that you are running version 5.7.1 and if not updated.

• Impossible to use RAW as original

  I'm shooting photos in JPG + RAW with Canon 5 d Mark 3. Previously, I used opening to manage photos, and I would like to try Photos.app since the opening is discontinued. I do some research and I believe Photos.app can alternate between JPG and RAW for the photos matched. However, when I tried to import image in Photos.app, "Use BRUTE as the Original" option is grayed out.

  

  Interestingly, Photos.app DO recognize that the image contains JPEG and RAW, since there is a battery icon on the lower left corner of the image, and when I choose "file > Export > export Original Unmodified' export, Photos.app will be ." JPG &. CR2 files. And Photos.app is able to handle 5 3 RAW files correctly; If I manually drag the. Cr2 files from the Finder in Photos.app, it will also import the image normally and can be changed without problem.

  My workflow is simple:

  1. take pictures in JPG (S) + RAW (L) with my 3 5.

  2. remove the SD card, insert into the card reader and plug it into my Mac.

  3 Photos.app opens automatically, select the picture, and then click the button "import the selected" big, blue on the upper right corner.

  Is this a bug of Photos.app or I just doing something wrong? I need to connect the camera directly to the Mac, or even import via iPad or something?

  My system is OS X 10.11.3 & Photos.app 1.3.

  and Yes, you can separate the formats JPEG and RAW manually and only import one you want (that displays the question why not just pull the desired and avoid wasted space and waste of efforts to always have an extra copy-you do not use)

  In short, the first link shows that you need version 8.5

  The other tells that PES cannot be updated more than 7.4 (you up to do date)

  So, if you don't want to update to PSE13 (see the limitations for PSE12), you can use the free DNGconverter that can convert batches of your raw files to DNG raw format that PSE11 can read. (download at the bottom of the faq link).

  Have you tried to place a shortcut to the dng Converter 7.3 on your office and only one of your files E - PL5 drag the shortcut

  Photoshop cs2 only goes to camera raw 3.7, but should open the converted dng files.

  Camera Raw 9.3 does not retain the settings a user default Camera Raw for Sony raw files.  Instead, he returned to the default settings of Adobe.   My apologies for the bug. A fix will be available in the next version of Camera Raw. I can't reveal the time of release other than to say that it will be quite fast.

  In the meantime, you can run the 9.1.1 installer on the next page to restore your installation while you wait for the fix.

  • This camera is too recent for your PS CS 4

  • Purchase PS CS 6
