improvement of the system for businesses

any windows OS will support image, 5 GB of RAM, hard disk 1 t processor all in a single system?

All current Windows supports Quad Core processors. The number of cores is not relevant. What is important is the number of processors (sockets cpu on the motherboard). Windows Vista supports two processors.  Each processor can have multiple cores.  Editions of Windows Server are supported more than two processors.

Vista supports more than 1 TB hard drive partitions.  Partitions can be up to 2 TB (32 bit) or 256 (64-bit).  It takes the system partition is more than only not 2 TB.

The following table specifies the physical memory limits for Windows Vista.

    Thank you

    Evening,

Syslog is preferred, but VMware has provided a collector of syslog on the vcenter installation disc can be installed on any windows host or your vcenter. I can't count the number of times where I had guests CMTF or newspapers lost... Fortunately for the syslog which collects up to the accident.  It is not necessary, but it's really a good idea without any real cost since you can use your vcenter host.

  • Failure of the system for Windows 8 image backup

I downloaded Windows 8 a few days ago. I tried to create a system image to an external drive, Western Digital 500 GB (409 GB free) four times and each time after a few minutes a message said that the backup failed. The backup of the recovery Partition seems end OK every time. The failures occurred after a minute or two in the backup of the C: drive of the OS.

The external hard drive checked OK. The player has already had an image of the system for Windows 7 which was removed before the backup attempt. Here are 2 messages I received as the backup failed. The other 2 were much the same, I think.

"There was a failure in the preparation of the backup image of any of the volumes in the backup set. (0X807800C).
The mounted backup volume is inaccessible. Try the operation again. (0X8078004F)."

"There was a failure in the preparation of the backup image of any of the volumes in the backup set. (0X807800C).
The specified drive is not found. (0 X 80780081)"

Below are the 2 files on the external hard drive after the failure. I guess that the first was the complete recovery Partition backup. I don't know much about this sort of thing.

Anyone have any ideas on the problem? The software only virus on the PC is Windows Defender that came with the operating system.

Fifth time is a charm, I suppose. I tried saving image system for the fifth time and successfully completed this time. Nothing has changed on my system or readers.

  • is adobe reader, acrobat requires a reboot of the system for installation and improvement

is adobe reader, acrobat requires a reboot of the system installation and improvement?

    Hi Harish,

If you install it for the first time, it does not require a reboot. But if you repair the installation, it will require a reboot.

Some quarterly updates require reboot. It also depends on when was the last time you rebooted the machine for the changes to apply.

  • Is this the right time for an improvement of the system?

Having finally started using the installation of first Pro CS5 that has mainly been used for the better part of the year, I find that my three year old system is need of an upgrade.  It works well enough for the edition, but takes an age to make anything.

The current system of NY is:

    Q9550

    8 GB DDR2

2 GB HD4850 (I had with my previous card nVidea drivers problems)

300 Gb 10 k rpm WD Velociraptor (OS and program files)

    150 GB 7 k 4 RPM Velociraptor (stripes only)

    2 x WD black 1 TB internal

2 x WD 1 TB external USB3 (I like these.)  They are about as fast as my internal drives)

    Gigabyte power 650W

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit (OEM version) that replaced Win XP 32 bit with only 4 GB of DDR2 and made a lot of difference with Photoshop.

    I think similar to

    I7 2600 K

Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3-iSSD (with the 20 GB SSD on the map)

    GTX470

    24 GB of DDR3 memory

Windows Professional (to access the 24 GB of RAM)

I hope to keep my current box and the PSU.

    Issues related to the:

    (1) would it be a good idea to get a second 300 Gb 10 k rpm Velociraptor and Raid 0 them?   I think it would give me useful capacity and speed for the C: drive, and I wouldn't have to wait for my data drives to wake up.

    (2) the person performing the upgrade tells me that he has much spent with this time - especially with AMD processors.  Intel only resemble revise the i7 to a 2700K with an another 100 Hz which looks stupid with the 2600 k being so easy to OC.  Is it worth of waiting?  I know that advises the usual for this kind of question is there is always something to come along, then get on and enjoy what's available now.

    Thank you very much

Of course, now is not the right time to upgrade, with the new Intel processors and appropriate motherboards that will be released next month?  I know that he will remove the 4 sticks of memory - limit I've seen pictures of motherboards with 8 memory slots.  Will be also lifted the restriction on the PCI express lanes.  As they must be passionate oriented, there are 6 core processors, and I hope there will be Asus cards without the integrated Intel graphics card.  Rumor has it that would however be much gain in speed.

I'm in the same position as the OP - a system of 3 years, but with a slightly more powerful processor.  Dear as I would have liked to pass earlier this year, I have steeled myself to wait until February when I return from my winter migration.  Here, problems of teeth with the new processors and motherboards must be known.

  • EM12c, improvement of the system of two - Questions about the post-installation steps

    Hi DBA:
I use two system of EM11.1 process and have updated the SGD. Immediately after the set SGD to level, I went three agents. The agents take on a cluster. I have completed the tasks of post-upgrade deferred Data Migration and the Migration of the accumulated data. Finally, I registered offshore on migration for these three agents and everything seems * fine. My question:

I spent a second set of officers who support another cluster. Is it true that each migrated agent calls for a fresh run of deferred employment data Migration and Migration of the accumulated data?

    Thank you

    Laura Sallwasser

Yes, as and when you put agents in batches of the accumulated data Migration task is triggered. To better understand this concept:

in the approach to upgrade 2-System, you can choose to spend your Management Agents in phases. When a set of Management Agents are passed to the, they start to download data on their hosts and their targets in the improved management repository, while those who are not switched yet, continue to download data from their hosts and the former repository of management targets. Therefore, earlier versions of the Management Agents coexist with those upgraded when only some of them have passed, and in such circumstances, the data are transferred to the former repository of management as well as the other at some point. However, note that a Management Agent only represents a host at some point, so coexistence does not two Agents of management on the same host. It shows only an earlier version of the Management Agent followed by a crowd who cohabits with a upgraded Management Agent, followed by another host.

When you swtich in the next series of Management Agents in the next phase, although they start to load data into the repository of improved management, the data downloaded to the old management repository before be toggled continue to exist in the repository of the old management.

  • How to do a restore of the system for the Satellite P105-S6014

    Hello

I have a Toshiba Satellite P105-S6014 with Windows Xp MCE.
I have problems with my PC and I want to perform a system recovery (reinstall windows) but the recovery disc creator software does not work and I don't have recovery CD.

So can someone tell me how I could perform a recovery system for my PC?
Maybe how to access my recovery without the CD partition?

    Hello

As far as I know, that it is a Toshiba series we. I m not 100% sure how it works in the American TV series but I assume that the original Toshiba Recovery CD can be ordered from the local Toshiba ASP.

On the other hand, you can try to install the Windows operating system from a Microsoft XP CD to own address and then you can download and install all necessary drivers Toshiba.

As I said above, this seems to be an American series and this is why you should use the Toshiba driver page for the download of the driver:

  • get the 0x400110020000100b error code while making the recovery of the system for windows vista 32 bit.

I tried to do a system restore on my laptop using the included recovery disks and had this error 0x400110020000100B. The drive looked pretty beaten last week so I ordered a new series. Now, when I got to put disc 2 in (to 80% full) I get the same error.  I called customer service and he took me through the process of F9, nothing works and I also tried the F11 approach that made me not the case.  I'm frustrated because I don't really have the money for a new laptop computer.

Laptop is a HP Pavilion DV6700.

Any help would appreciated more than you know.

The system is Windows Vista 32 bit

The guy on the phone said ' well, you know it's a pretty old computer... Thank you gee...

    Hello:

See if you can make your own Vista installation disc if you can read the product key 25 character on the bottom of your laptop.

    Here's how:

If you are in a fault light but rewarding you can do yourself if you can read your product key of Vista on the PC of 25 characters.

You just download the 3 files you need on the link below and read all the instructions to create a Setup bootable DVD disk using imageburn.

Do not take into account the part of the text in the first screen shot about "extract the files in the folder of Vista."

The files were extracted already in this folder when you ran the X14.exe file by reading the text on top of the first screenshot.

The other thing I noticed is on the 4th page, where it shows Developer ID Microsoft Corporation. I had to type Microsoft Corporation in me, and then other codes already filled in.

When I went to compile the ISO file, ImageBurn gave a message on a WIM file, file and ISO, and if I wanted to burn it in a different format.

I selected no, make the ISO file.

It was not so hard to do. I burned both the disk of 64-bit and 32-bit disk in case I ever need them.

I tested both of them one my hp dc7100 CMT desktop PC, worked flawlessly.

When you enter the product key, he knows which version of Vista you have.

    http://en.community.Dell.com/support-forums/software-OS/w/microsoft_os/3317.2-3-Microsoft-Windows-v...

After you install Vista successfully, you can then install the drivers for your PC and driver page support.

  • Can we prevent the popup Scheduler task Service at the start of the system for a scheduled task to run periodically?

When I have any task scheduled to run periodically (for example, daily, weekly), the Task Scheduler Service dialog box always appears on the logon screen if the computer was turned off at the time of day the task should run. From my experiences, it seems as the process that determines a spot missed his scheduled time does not consider that the PC is turned off. There seems to be no way to prevent this. Even when a task is scheduled to run at the system startup and periodically, the dialog box appears when the login screen appears.

    This analysis is correct?

I have three tasks in Task Scheduler. I didn't know anything about the task scheduler until I started having the popup. The first time I looked at Task Scheduler these three tasks have been implemented as follows.

Adobe Flash Player Updater - Annex: every 1 hour (s) 03:05 for 24 hour (s) on every day...

GoogleUpdateTaskMachineCore - Annex: Run when the user login

    GoogleUpdateTaskMachineUA - Annex: every 1 hour (s) 20:51 24 hour (s) on every day...

I have no idea how or when it has been implemented in this way, but I only started to receive this dialog box by the end of 2011. Would it have happened during an Adobe Flash Player update or update of Google?

I changed the calendar. I've now set up three tasks to run at startup of the system. The popup appears now. Is there a reason why I have to trigger these tasks once per hour?

    CSF

You don't need these tasks scheduled at all.

You can go to each site and look for updates when you want.

If you have installed google something he will continue to try to catch up, and if you have installed adobe you can disable automatic updating.

  • Disks in the system for Vista

I bought a desktop PC with Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit and later updated my OS by buying a Windows 7 Home Premium upgrade CD soon after. A few months ago I started noticing my HDD is running out so I bought a new hard drive and installed my Windows 7 CD on that one. Given that it was only an upgrade CD, after about a month my BONES began to give me questions by telling me my Windows copy was not authentic. I realized it was because I installed upgrading Windows 7 on a new hard drive. I never received a Vista recovery CD with my purchase of the computer and I don't know what to do.  I have the product key of Windows Vista Edition Home Premium on a sticker on my computer.

Is it possible to get a download of system disk?

    Hello

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.
