In a few cases as possible

Hi all

Please let me know what is the best way to tackle the simple problem below with a case structure as little as possible.

entry: a table 1 d of 2 elements.

ideal (if possible): there is a structure to deal with 3 cases more an event of default.  The condition would be if item 2 of the satistify - entry or item 1 case 1 carry case 1, even in case 2, even for case 3 and none of the element to satisfy any case, perform the case elsewhere.

Note: I only run the default structure only if none of the element in the array corresponds to any of the cases.

Very close to what I thought.

You can go there.

The '0' case is the default and no game screenshots.

'1' '3' catches when corresponds to the first or the two match.

'2' grabs the second matchine only.

That's three cases of my account.

  • transaction on a few cases?

Here's a situation: trial of the company requires changes in 3 databases. in each database, there is a procedure to do the job, let's say p1 on the d1, D2, d3 on p3 p2 database.

Is it possible to call p1, p2, p3, so that if an error occurs during one of them all the changes done so far on these databases can be rollbacked? In other words, is is possible to treat all calls to these procedures in a transaction (ie. all or nothing)?

  • Almost every window in iTunes are blacked out. Only in a few cases, text is readable.

There are (in Yosemite) I noticed that the basis of all the windows of my iTunes went black.  Only in the body of the summary pages section on safeguards is the text in a contrasting color. That and the view of songs from 'My music.'  Views of the album and individual playlists are readable in the main window (with grey text), but the background is always black. Anything either with a radio or checkbox button is a pure black.  So, essentially, iTunes is useless for anything but to listen who can I do with any device.

This continued in my upgrade of the El Capitan, so I know it is something that has developed pain in my system.

No idea what it is or how I can copy something again in the library to get my ability to do anything in iTunes back?  Or should I trash iTunes and make another installation, a new is not overridden by all that is wrong with the old?

This only happens in iTunes?  Not in other applications like Mail or Safari?

If it is only in iTunes, try to download the latest version of iTunes and install it again, from here

    https://www.Apple.com/iTunes/

This problem affects the components of the application iTunes, not your iTunes library.  However, since there is something weird happens, it would be good to make a backup of your iTunes data.

  • Losing icon Arrangement - Possible Fix

I'm sure I've read about other people having this problem - you arrange the icons on the desktop, but for some reason any arrangement is lost, and the icons align just.

My previous fix was to use free software, DesktopOK to restore my arrangement, but Googling autour, I think I found a program preventing it from moving in the first place.  This is another free program called Iconoid.

See the announcement about it here.

Don't forget to read the part about the options because you probably won't be happy with the default settings.

I installed it last night and so far my icons are stayed put.  Of course, it's a fairly short test.

Report - updated I got Iconoid installed for a few days.

It seems to work.  I've had a few cases where the icons align themselves in the upper part of the screen, but when I turned vertically, then horizontally new tablet, the icons returned to the correct setting.  This one is a keeper.

  • Possible oddity of navigation with projects

I had a few projects as possible clinging and discovered a quirk in the navigation. I wanted to see if anyone knew if there is a difficulty, or if it's just the average Captivate works.

The last slide in a project contains a field for entering text that students are supposed to fill and press ENTER, or click Save to and then the project forward for the next project. He sails very well if the student meets the text input field and the product. BUT if they are just paging by using the arrow button next navigation bar, it will not advance beyond the text slide. (This project is in part based on the references, so they could just be paginated (Browse) to get to the page they want.)

It is not decisive for me, but I find it curious and I wanted to know if there is a way to accept the next arrow and continue for the next project. Thank you.

    Hi again

(In my best Homer Simpson voice) Oh!

Somehow I spaced the fact that you said that it was the last slide in the project. My bad.

Yes, the read command works only on the blades within a single project. So you can click Next all day and because you are already on the last slide, it will not advance beyond this slide.

  • video iPod 5.5 generation, Sound of Dock - None of helmet

    Hello

I've been browsing the forum here among others trying to figure that this somewhat strange question out and I finally decided to see if anyone here has an answer. I recently bought an iPod video 5.5 opportunity generation 30 GB (A1136, model #: PA446LL, SN: * V9N) out of craigslist. The iPod seems to be fully functional, aesthetically and hardware wise. Up to what I tried to listen to a song via the headset. To my surprise, there was no sound coming through the socket. If I turned the volume all the way to the top, I could hear a slight static noise (not related to music), so I guess that is under tension. I read online that this can be caused by welding cracked on the audio decoder or dac, so I tried pinching right/bottom right corners without changing the static at all. Thinking that I had just bought a broken iPod, I tried to play this music even through my car stereo receiver using the dock/usb connection and it worked perfectly. A little confused at this point, I took the thing out and inspected the cable jack and Ribbon of the helmet, the motherboard and audio chips. Everything went perfectly well, including headphones and cable, it was not folded connections inside and it was clean. I tried to press the chips on the motherboard, while playing music once more it is taken apart and it was not even a change of the static (when volume is 100%). I tried various headsets/headphones and with each of them, as you are connected to the socket you can hear precisely the left channel and then the right gets their power.

I've read only a few cases of this particular issue happening and the response to each of them was to get a replacement headphone plug. I am skeptical to do what I can hear both channels is fed fine, there is no audio. I ask if someone who has some expertise on this motherboard (820-1975-A) knows where the problem lies (audio impeccable out Dock but headphone jack has absolutely nothing). I have the tools needed for soldering and re-flow if necessary.

    I tried the things:

    -Different headphones/earphones

-Cleaning of the headphone jack/re-seating the ribbon cable

-Tighten more integrated chips while music played

-The 5 'R' apple suggests (including restoring w / mac & windows several times).

-Different file formats (ALAC, MP3, WAV (16-bit, 44.1 kHz))

    -Hard reboots

-Possibility of other things I don't forget

Things I'm NOT willing to do:

    -Return to the craigslist seller

-Apple call / go to an Apple store for a replacement

-Buy a new logic board (I understand the one I may be impossible to fix)

I appreciate your time and I hope that the heart of this problem can be highlighted!

    Bump, still having the issue.

  • HP 12 c TVM bugs!

I have a question from TVM as follows:

A company has purchased a debt securities at $102.70 on 1 July 20 X 4. Debt has interest fixed 4.5% per year, payable on December 31 of each year. The main $100 is repayable on 31 December 20 X 10.

The relevant details are the following:
    Investment cost .............................................................................................$102.70
    Principal at maturity... $100.00
    Coupon rate.......................................................................................................... 4.5%
Cash income of interest per year... $4,50
Years until the end of the beginning... 6.5 years
Interest in cash for half of 20 x 4... $2.25

Now, I have to calculate the effective interest rate.

    The input parameters must be:

    PV =-102.70

    FV = 100.00

    PMT = 4.5

    n = 6.5

    When I use the Texas Instrument BA II + to calculate, I = 4.02. However, when I use the HP 12 c to calculate, I = 3.64.

In addition, when I use Excel or another program of TVM to calculate, I I = 4.02 too!

So I wonder if this is a bug for HP 12 c?

I'd appreciate if some TBE can help me!

Here is the response from my friend good funds. I thought that this was the case, but as always, he was able to set out succinctly in a way I couldn't.

The problem arises from the 12 c being a machine based "by period' (and of course, the industry standard) while others are not.

    Here's how you get 4.02%.

    END OF THE CL
    102.70 CHS FV
    2.25 CHS PMT
    100 PV
    13 N
    I have

displayed value is 2.01189, which is the interest rate per period.
    x 2

4.02378 poster that is the nominal interest rate.

Don't forget that he not there no such concept as a 'period' anything else then an integer value in the 12. It is argueable that something other then this may be financially and mathematically also "wrong". From a perspective of calculator, does a few shorter calculations possible. In your first post, try changing from 6.5 to 6 on others and compare that returns the 12 c. I think you will see what happens after that. :-)

The problem with periods of no whole, is that it becomes VERY easy to accidentally forget what mode you are operating on the calcualtor. For this reason, the person who gave me this result (as well as several, several other professors of finance) always has the students put the machines in PPYR = 1 and never change. Just, he tends to avoid the most common mistakes are students who are almost ALWAYS the result of periods don't match does not to the conditions of the problem.

And what is the best program to check the temperature of the laptop while playing a game? I use Advanced System Care for win8 at the moment but I don't know if he just checking.

    Hi @Kiutsu

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand your concern regarding the temperature for your laptop. I'm happy to help you with this.

The first thing is that for the most part computers laptops and cell phones are designed to be game machines, with the exception of a few cases. The primary design concerns are to maximize the duration of portability and battery, while preserving the functionality as much as possible. Because of limited air flow and the limits of size and weight for managing heat, just because of the compact size that most people want, this means that the heat can be a greater concern than a desktop computer where these restrictions are not at stake. The end result is that if a user is running graphically intense applications or something similar which puts emphasis on the system, it is more likely to overheat.

For now, take a look at this and see if anything will help.  In general if I were to run games on your laptop for an extended period of time, I would where I could optimize what I need to keep cool.

    Why computers generate heat

Reduce the heat inside the PC to avoid overheating

Is there any other way to do it? What will happen when the hard drive must be interrupted?

In fact, the only way should be to buy an old hard drive of the laptop even.
Will it work? (maybe the serial number is located in and stop the change?)

    Can you help me?

    (Sorry for my English)

To be honest I n don't know what your question.
Do you need a recovery disk?

If you need a recovery disc, then you will need to buy the Toshiba ASP in your country. If all goes well, it will be possible to get this drive because a very few cases, it s not possible to order a recovery disc, if the laptop series is too old.

Toshiba article explains how to burn an image that was stored on the HARD drive
This laptop has not been delivered with the recovery disk and it was therefore necessary to create this disk using the procedure described in the article.

  • Outage map mother Toshiba P10 - 504

I recently had a major problem with my Toshiba P10-504. I have no idea how it is happened, but according to the Toshiba people who are setting the motherboard has failed. This meant that when trying to turn it on all I got was the blue light and noise from the fan and eventually the HD spinning round and not display at all. The cost of fixing, it was quoted at around £450 and it will take a couple of weeks. As you can imagine I have never wanted to meet this problem again and would really like to understand how it happened. Any information would be great. To help here's a list of everything I did and didn t before it crushed that may be useful:

    Before the crash
    (1) installed a new module of memory: 1 GB DDR333 SODIM (brand pqi?) - I have installed the module a week before that the system failed and it was working fine. I m worried of course re - install the module when the laptop is returned (tips?).

One the day of the accident
    (1) set processor scheduling to basic services to increase performance of audio software
    (2) turned all power and all patterns always found hibernation modes these boring
    (3) set the swap file for virtual memory to about 1.2 GB just to experiment with different performance settings, although this was probably a bit excessive.
    (4) after the three things above do I simply close the lid, no request was running and the system had not yet been arrested and was running on batteries. That s the last time it worked.

The laptop had not known physical damage.

Thanks for reading through it all - I hope that m make sense. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

    Chris.

    Hi Chris

Looking at the list of things you've done I don't see anything that could damage the computer.
Installation of equipment (memories, PC cards and so on) is always a 'risk', but as long as you keep the standards and use your head instead of force, you should be pretty safe.
Since the memory was running in your machine for a week, it seems very unlikely that it can be the cause of the problem.
My long experience with the mobile equipment service tells me that I have but a very few cases have seen software damaging hardware. It is possible in theory, but in real life - this is the last possibility on my list anyway.
Stuff in the breeze computer most of the time for no reason visilible - means that he does not want to break because of misuse, improper handling or bad software. He breaks everything.
Looking at the number of "parts" 1 computer have inside (besides just motherboard, memory, hard disk and so on but counting of connectors, transistors in the large chips, welds on big and so chips suite) I (my personal point of view) feel sometimes that it is lucky that they do not break.

So to answer your question: just take care of your computer normally, stick to hardware options that are made for your computer (prefer original Toshiba) and you did your part of the deal :)
