  I'm guessing that function was probably removed from the programme earlier. I don't remember seeing it, but I started using DW in CS3 which is a few versions after MX.

  Look at the photo gallery of JAlbum software.  It can handle as much or as little pictures and galleries as you want.  JAlbum takes an entire folder of photos on your hard drive, in fact HTML pages and thumbnail images for you.  A huge time saver with many skins (styles) of your choice.

I have a photo page built for my site already and have read a dozen tutorials but can't figure out how to import my album folder info in my photo page. Is this possible?   Not to put too fine a point on it, the command of Dreamweaver creating a Photo Album is a bunch of garbage. And no, I'm not to offend by saying Adobe engineers. They agree that the code it creates is completely obsolete and has no place in Dreamweaver. It was created in the days of websites and web design were much less sophisticated than today. It is not used by professionals, who are the main target for Dreamweaver, so he was never improved. A much better solution is located in the Adobe Bridge CS4 output Module, which is installed by default with the latest version of Dreamweaver.
