  I created a movie with music.  During the preview, the video and the audio works fine.  The problem is when I watch the video on my pc, the sound stops playing after about 30 seconds and the video continues.  When I reset to that point the audio begins again, then stops shortly after and the video still continues.  It is a mpeg format and played on the windows media player 11.  What is the problem with the audio?  Looking for solutions to this problem.

  Thanks people for your suggestions and advice.  I had the sound to play.  I did change the audio settings for dolby to mpeg and that makes the difference.

  I just installed Windows XP Home Edition on an old Dell (Dimension s 4500) computer.  Most things work well; However, I notice that all the videos on websites play for about 5 seconds and then stops.  The full video continues to be downloaded and can be restarted by clicking on a different location on the timeline - after which he played for 5 seconds.  This happens with Internet Explorer and Firefox and all the sites I've tried.

  I wonder if it's a snap in IE and Firefox. You can try and disable them and see what happens.

  I want to embed a video in a Keynote slide so that the video starts to play just after the slide in video.   It is not the entire timeline, but I see just the bottom of the culprit on top (previously Text_animation_9): there is an interactive object (green timeline) that is a break from the default 1.5secs. It is what explains why the slide waiting just 1.5 sec, which means that only the first Smartshape load.

  Select interactive object (a button I think) and either drag the interruption to the slide later (after the end of the effect on the last Smartshape) or use the control panel Timing to change the suspension. You have audio on this slide? Or is there another reason for which this slide is so long? The part after the suspension point, if it is later than the time I have spoken, is "inactive": slide won't pause, no need to do a lot more time unless you need it for slide audio. I don't see if you have audio slide or. Do you know that you can increase the height of the timeline by dragging the top of this Panel?

  Here is the solution.

  1. open Finder and navigate to/YOUR_HD/Library/Preferences

  2 rename or move the file to the Trash: com.apple.audio.AggregateDevices.plist

  3 restart the program

  Add time stamp on the video. It will take more time to start playing, but that should solve the problem. Click the FLVplayback component and open the Component Inspector to change the length of the buffer.
