  • MacOs Sierra battery consumption

I have the macbook pro 13.3 mid 2012, after upgrade of Sierra battery consumption went from 6 to 7 hours to 2-3 hours and the temperature rose to 30 degrees to 70 degrees.

    What's wrong?

If this is the first time that you have enabled services iCloud photo library, iCloud Drive or Desktop & Documents storage iCloud, let your MacBook plugged into the power supply for a few nights, until it finishes loading and synchronization of all. These activities are very intensive CPU, which influences the temperature and battery usage.

Make sure you are your consumption of the battery again, once the system is set up.

  • Battery consumption after the installation of the new operating system

I installed the new OS update and my battery drains with in 4 hours.  (Before the update, the battery used to last 12 hours)  Is there a cure for this?

    Thank you

First, connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, let the screen off and do nothing for a long period of time. Leave it plugged in all night while you sleep is perfect for that.

Then, restart your iPhone by pressing and maintaining the sleep/wake and home buttons.

You can also try following the suggestions of battery life. Go to settings > farm > find 'Suggestions of battery life.

  • iPhone battery consumption 5

I am the second owner of an iPhone5 who has been beaten battered and bruised. Until last Friday when he left in a pile of snow outside my car for 16hours, he was in a good state. The battery both and if was seen how many updates have handed this thing in 2-3 years, wipe dust and dirt from his creaveases, but once I'm back in conditions of temperature and fully charged it has sense been extremely patient. Any use of data at all and he'll jump literally cut 20 to 30% of battery life and the instantaniously will heat up like a hot cake. What should I do? Seeing as I am the second owner and it is not on a major media (who cares about the warranty) a spare battery would work in this situation? I just wouldn't spend money 30 on a block and installation kit and short circuit the phone or heat and jump in my pocket. I've heard mixed reviews about replacement batterys, but these iphones are expensive. If Yes, where is the best and most reliable place to order a new kit? Thank you so much in advance. Sorry I couldn't be more in front.

IMHO, what you spent on what you describe could be throwing a lot of money. No doubt had the phone wet in the snowbank... and water and electronic devices do not play well together.

  • MacBook battery life

I just bought my macbook two weeks ago and at first, the battery life display 10 hours of use but after I have updated to OS X EL Capitan, it seems that the battery life has become much shorter than 5 hours of use. I set the brightness to save battery, but the battery consumption is always the same. Is it normal to be like this or what should I do to save the battery. If anyone knows how I should improve my macbook battery, it will be very good to know that for the most part, I need to travel and need more autonomy.

  • Energy consumption high (30W) on Tecra A4

    Hello!

My A4 battery only lasts for about AN hour at full load! NotebookHardwareControl shows a 30W energy consumption. What's wrong?

    Círdan
p.s. I recently bought this used laptop.

    Hello

I'm sure you know that the battery consumption depends on parameters of use and portable computer power. I hope that you have set all to reduce the consumption of energy and in this way, the battery life should be a little longer.

By the way: Tecra A4 is one and a half years and it is possible that the battery is not in the best conditions. When you buy a laptop used you don t know how the previous user has dealt with laptop and the battery.

  • "no cell coverage" is draining my battery.

my battery has recently started to empty very quickly. I looked in the useage bites and there is a section is called "no cell coverage" that he uses to leasdt 60% of battery in 24 hours.  Yes, I'm in a poor area of cell, but that's not the problem that it is has three identical phones in our House. they do not have this problem, or if they post this "feature". I asked all the apple users I know and no one has this 'no guaranteed cell' listed in the battery settings. Please can you tell me how to turn off or better yet, get rid of it. Thank you very much

It is a new display setting in iOS 9.2. When cell coverage is low the phone increases its power output in order to maintain a connection. A weak signal uses 10 times more energy than the strongest signal, so it can if drain a battery very fast if you are on a call, and it will still flow battery when not online because the phone reports periodically its location on the network if an incoming call can find your phone. In addition to other things complicate, if you regularly lose signal completely the phone to send a page "where are you?" to the network to reconnect. He is sent to full power. If there is no response he reiterates demand periodically, with longer and longer delays between pages. However, if it reconnects and often loses connection, pages are transmitted frequently without awaits liked, yet after draining the battery.

All cell phones work in this way, including the iPhone. In the past, all this happened behind the scenes, if you don't know that the mere fact that your battery doesn't last that long in a weak signal area. With iOS 9.2 (and possibly 9.1) the battery monitor now shows you in this regard. You will only see if it uses more than 1% of your total battery consumption.

Also note that the display of the battery is a percentage of a percentage. That is 60% means that 60% of the use of batteries in the past 24 hours, 60% of the battery capacity. So if your phone is using 50% of the total capacity of the battery (the top display says 50% bar) this means that 'no cell coverage' is used 60% 50%, which is (0.6 x 0.5) 30% of the use of batteries for the period.

ADDENDUM: If you tap on settings/battery screen it will show the actual time that each app in energy consumption spent running in the foreground and background.

  • The battery warranty

    Hey!

First: Excuse my bad English. I'm used to have a support forum in my language.

Question: The motorcycle G Battery included in the German guarantee? If Yes: how long?

Your English is fine, I can't answer your question about the battery warranty, but there is support in the German language. Go to the bottom of this page, click on 'choose location' and select German in the "support" column on the right of the page. "

You can contact direct from Motorola that will be able to answer your question no doubt better than this forum.

  • Cliq: 2.1 live wallpapers and battery life

I've just thought about it. We know all that our phones have the best battery life. Then when (and im talking WHEN) we get our long-lost Ecclair upgrade and have access to the wallpapers, wil live drain them the battery faster?

What I read, it is surprisingly sweet on drums. People say that it only uses 2% of battery based on simple LWs and uncomplex throughout the use of the day. But as LW is a novelty for us, you would obviously add this battery consumption on top of what we get on our 1.5 Cliqs. We will therefore use practically more battery than before, but not too much.

  • BlackBerry Z30 battery saving mode uses "location services", although not active

    Hi all

Although exclude/disable battery saving mode settings location service monitor says the opposite. Each time that the savings mode "location services" use about 30% of all resources during these times.

    Bug or "feature"? ".

    Thank you
    Sandro

Hmm, you can try to reset

Turn off battery saving mode--> press and hold down the power button until the red LED is displayed, the device restarts and appearance of the logo blackberry and telephone lights--> ride on battery saving mode (with off location services), and then monitor the battery consumption again.

Can bring back you after that?

P.S.: Do not try the restart process if you are on a low battery due to some black screen issues that some users have on this forum.

  • lprpmd hogging CPU after upgrade of Sierra

    Hi all

Since the upgrade my MBP to Sierra, I noticed there is a process called lprpmd that is constantly consuming more than 90% CPU.  It has not been done before, and that means that whenever I start something else, the fan kick in and disturb the rest...   No idea why this is happening and how to fix it?   (I rebooted, but no difference).

    See you soon,.

    Gary

I upgraded my MacBook Pro retina 2015 to Sierra. Now it drains the battery three times faster and gets really hot.
I found in "activity monitor" that a process called lprpmd consumes 99% CPU. Kill the battery consumption returns normal.
When I restart the Mac, the lprpmd process will live again and it drains the battery. Any info on lprpmd? 18:09:16

  • Satellite A300 - CPU & GPU upgrade questions

    Hello everyone!

    I have a satellite A300-1 to 9 (Intel Core 2 Duo T8300, Ati 3650, lcd WXGA 1280 * 800, 2 discs hard etc.) running Windows XP + SP3 + utility Toshiba etc...

    These are my questions...

    (1) can I upgrade the CPU Core 2 Duo P8400?
(I know that T8300 and P8400 use the same socket)

    (2) can I put my screen WXGA (1280 x 800) with a WXGA + (1400 * 900) or WSXGA + (1680 * 1050)?
How will this affect the battery consumption?

    (3) having the computer plugged (a/c power), when I close the lid, the computer goes into sleep mode.
When I open the lid, the computer wakes.
Unfortunately, the computer is running on battery power is not the case... I opened the lid and nothing happens,
I have to press the power button for pc to wake up...

    can I fix?

    Thanks in advance...

Satellite A300's newest model of laptop and I wonder how you feel about this hardware upgrade after so little time to use.
In General, these upgrades are probably possible, but certainly not supported by Toshiba.
In other way such radical update as a poster of upgrade is absolutely not logical for me. You probably know how expensive these parts are.

In my opinion, should you sold your laptop and buy new with exact material you like to have.

What about the last question? Please check all settings in the control panel and make sure that you have chosen the right option when the notebook is on battery or plugged in.
