  I had an Android update information on my HP Slate 7 voice tab to update the version of KitKat candy. Once I followed the instructions on the tab got hangd and displays the icon of Android.

  I tried the instructions online to restart, but to no avail as by pressing the two buttons at the same time: volume upwards and downwards with the power off buttons and release them as soon as the hp icon rises.

  It did not work.

  Any help with this problem?

  I don't know if this has already been addressed, (a little short of time right now), but recently I received several cases where my screen flickers (turning once, then power) and I get this message:

  I don't know if it's a driver problem or plugin problem. The problem occurs frequently using adobe flash, especially on the contraction. I confirmed by observation of the Brooks twitch and almost immediately the driver stops responding for some reason any.

  The problem has to do with the NVIDIA drivers in combination with windows 8 no doubt. The best way to solve my problem was to dedicate the PhysX on my card and have no automatic switching between the CPU and GPU.

  There is one thing that I know that you need to check that COULD be your problem.  Open Control Panel (in Classic view) and click Folder Options (or, in Control Panel, click on appearance and personalization and then Folder Options).

  Open the view tab and make sure that "Always show icons, never thumbnails" is NOT checked.

  It would be good to hear from you as to whether that was the problem!

• How can I get the files to display an icon, but as a thumbnail photos?

  I want my document to display as icons files, but makes all my photos are displayed also as a generic icon.  If I uncheck always show them icons, never thumbnails in the folder options and then my documents files show as thumbnails, and I don't want that.  Is it at all possible to display as icons of the folders of paper but photo folders to display thumbnails?  Up to two hours this is how my files appear (documents as icons, pictures as thumbnails).  All of a sudden, it's one or the other.  How can I get this back to the original way?

  It goes to its strange, but I solved the problem.  I ran a cycle of repair Microsoft Office 2007!  Now, my pictures are back to thumbnails, while my documents remain icons.  I feel a bit silly for you put through that much trouble.  So my apologies and thanks for trying to help me.

  The problem has been resolved.  It seems that McAfee itself to include a Mozy backup which, in turn, updated the! marks on the icons.

  Enter McAfee has given an option to save files online.

  This has removed the! mark.

  I just got a Bold 9780 and that's fine except that when I try to access the icon I want, I keep accidentally swipe the screen in a different position, he's going to 'All' in 'Favorites', 'Media', "downloads,"Frequent"then back to 'All'.
