In SOA Suite JCA adapter

Hello

It must connect to an external application to retrieve a few details. This application is a product and the product provider shared the JCA resource adapter that can be used to connect to the application.

Is it possible to use the JCA resource adapter in SOA Suite? Or does have be compatible with Oracle SOA Suite? In addition, there is no possibility to generate this adapter wsdl files.

Need your advice on this.

Thank you.

If I remember correctly, to use JCA adapter with stack SOA requires this adapter implements some Oracle API.
The adapter SDK is a lightweight tool kit that allows rapid implementation and deployment - http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/integration/adapters/pdf/DS_OracleASAdapter.pdf

http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/B16981_04/current/Acrobat/cct115dg.PDF

Above all, you wrap your jca adapter to make it available in SOA suite/battery.

Another option is that this adapter provider gave you CCI interface or a custom interface that can be used to call the adapter settings.

  • Integration with SOA suite JCA adapter

    Hi all

Where can I find documentation or reference about the integration of the third-party adapter with SOA suite?

There is a third-party adapter to the SOA of JDeveloper project option. When I drag him in the composite.xml file, a window is asking for wsdl, jca files, etc. So I would like to know if there are any example or a tutorial on how to integrate a third party adapter with SOA suite. Thank you.

    Kind regards

    K.Hein

Third-party adapter allows you to integrate third-party adapters such as PeopleSoft, SAP and others in a composite SOA application. These third-party adapters produce artifacts (WSDL and JCA files files), which can configure a JCA adapter.

Custom adapter approach should be used in cases where you have developed your own adapter.

  • Question regarding: the correlation ID of reading in the Oracle SOA Suite BPEL process

    Hello

How to read a Message of MQ, which has put in place with a BPEL correlation ID STRING and
invoke the corresponding adapter JCA FTP put with this correlation ID in SOA Suite.
Can someone let me know how to do this?

    Thank you
    KK

You can use the below properties on the activity of reception of the MQ adapter and map it to a string variable.

    jca.mq.MQMD.CorrelId

Inbound/outbound. The message to retrieve correlation identifier / to. Accepts a string encoded in hexadecimal.

    jca.mq.Inbound.MQMD.CorrelId

Outgoing. Correlation identifier of the message recovered in the asynchronous req-response scenario. Accepts a hexadecimal encoded string

Kindly help me in this regard

    Solution:

Immediately work around the issue by removing the "ns1:" qualification on the farm for binding.jca entry in composite.xml and transfer.

    For example:

    From:

    operation = "ns1:BAPI_COMPANYCODE_GETDETAIL" / >

    TO:

    operation = "BAPI_COMPANYCODE_GETDETAIL" / >

  • Local transaction support when BPEL calls JCA adapter

    Hi all

I've implemented a BPEL invoke process consisting of several activities to my (personalized) JCA resource adapter that connects to an environmental impact study.

    2 WebLogic Server 10.3.4

    Thank you for your time,
    George

The important fact is that BPEL will always be in a transaction... Apparently, your card's participation in the operation of BPEL JTA (rather than create a new one)... Thus, when you try to send a commit local, it will fail because "Ce ManagedConnection is handled by container for its transactional behavior and has been joined to the JTA transaction per container.

So you have to see which is best for your case, to participate in the operation of BPEL and let BPEL commit the transaction for you, or somehow put your JCA adapter in a transaction context different from that of the BPEL one...

    I hope this helps...

    See you soon,.

  • SOA Suite 11 g - how set/get JMS headers?

Hi there users of soa on.

IM currently using oracle soa suite 11 g,.

My use case is to consume a jms queue, treat it,
and send it to another queue.

    (I'm using WLS 10.3 jms)

all of this is orchestrated in a process bpel with jms adapter

My jms message is to have several jms custom properties:
    like this:

    siak_to: pusat
    siak_from: jkt
    siak_type: SinkBioWniRequest

My question is, I need to get this header information
to treat in the bpel, so I can deal with, routing, etc.
How to get this incoming headers of the jms?

After treatment im, I also have to build
JMS headers for the response process. How to set the outbound jms headers?

I recently Googled, in previous soa suite, there is a tab named "adapters".
in an invoke activity, but now it is replaced by tab properties (which is not well documented :()

It is a basis of jms interoperability use cases,

someone at - it answers to this?

    Thanks :)

    Hello

We also use this feature and our consultant gave us the format for JMS, custom properties because it was not in the documentation. I used this format with the file adapter sample to understand. The format is:

    jca.jms.JMSProperty.

Pick, they are accessible in the stage entitled to assistance:

    Entrants: $in.property.jca.jms.JMSProperty.
    Outbound: $out.property.jca.jms.JMSProperty.

There is also a function of xpath GetFilter() so that properties are accessible from a XSLT transformation

In BPEL, the jca.jms.JMSProperty. format is also used. To access these properties in BPEL, use the following strategies:

On arrival: use a in a stage of the reception to get the property of an incoming message in a variable of the appropriate type.

Outbound: use a less a step to invoke to send the property for the message of the variable.

    I hope this helps.

  • OSB and JCA adapter database

    Hi all

Is there a way to create an adapter of JCA with OSB and weblogic server database without using JDeveloper and SOA Suite 11 g?
We use the 10.3.1 OSB and Im trying to find a way to implement an outgoing connection to the database in order to write data with a JCA adapter.
I read this in an old NET:

A new version of the Oracle Service Bus (OSB 10.3.1) is now available, quick list of new features of OSB:

    * JCA Transport with certified JCA adapters
    * Support for generate config.jar of command-line or ant task.
    * Improvements to the native MQ Series Transport.
    * New API to support the SOA Management Pack for the BSO.

But I can't find a way. any information would be great and even better a kind of example / tutorial

    Thnx

Is there a way to create an adapter of JCA with OSB and weblogic server database without using JDeveloper and SOA Suite 11 g?

SOA Suite 11 is not required to use the JCA in OSB 10.3.1 adapters. JDEV 10.3.1 with extensions of SOA is required, with which we cannot use in OSB 10.3.1 JCA adapters.

We use the 10.3.1 OSB and Im trying to find a way to implement an outgoing connection to the database in order to write data with a JCA adapter.

    (1) open project Jdev (BEPEL/Ombudsman)
    (2) create links of partner for the DB adapter
    (3) in the JDEV project, there will be wsdl created for the partner link. This made WSDL refers to another wsdl and xsd.
    (4) import all the dependencies of the WSDL in OSB
    (5) create a BS/PS based on wsdl and download the corresponding toplink file above wsdl (accessible to the general public using jdev project).

Let me know if the steps above are not clear

Re: Integration of own in OSB JCA adapters

I couldn't find information on all the new features in Oracle Service Bus, and the release of Oracle SOA Suite 11.1.1.7. (I know about adaptive management in BPM 11.1.1.7)
Does anyone have a link for that?

And if anyone needs it, here is the link for the resolved and known issues in this version: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/docs/aiasoarelnotesps6-1866030.html#servbus

  • Headers custom JMS in Oracle SOA suite 11 g

    Hello
Can any body contact me how to implement the custom headers JMS in Oracle SOA suite. Help, please

    Thank you
    Kumar

    Kumar,

It is jca.jms.JMSProperty that is used to set and get the custom of JMS headers. So if you want to set two custom headers JMS say Test1 and Test2 and then add them as a property in your call as below.

    variableentree = "InvokeTest_Produce_Message_InputVariable".
    partnerLink = 'test' portType = "ns2:Produce_Message_ptt."
    operation = "Produce_Message" bpelx:invokeAsDetail = "no" >

Here we have assigned the value of the variable testA in t괥 JMS Test1 and the expression "foo" in the custom header of JMS Test2.

    Kind regards
    Anuj

    Thanks for the help guys.

    I created wlfullclient.jar and added instead wlclient.jar

    1. go to the server/lib directory.

    CD WL_HOME/server/lib

    2. use the following command to create wlfullclient.jar in server/lib directory:

    java-jar wljarbuilder.jar

    3. you can now copy and group wlfullclient.jar with client applications

After that, I got error about not activate remote JDBC. Solution:

    /Oracle/middleware/user_projects/domains/ECMdomain/bin/setDomainEnv.sh

    WLS_JDBC_REMOTE_ENABLED = "-Dweblogic.jdbc.remoteEnabled =true"

After these steps, I waited to succeed =) but once again an error:

    java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: oracle/sql/BfileDBAccess

Solution: add ojdbc6.jar to the project

Now all the perfect job. I hope that this statement will help someone!

  • SOA Suite 12 c: BPEL 2.0: error bpel:getVariableProperty

    The SOA Suite version: 12.1.3

    BPEL specification: 2.0

I am creating a BPEL with BPEL 2.0 process specification on SOA Suite 12.1.3 and I am running into errors when I try to use bpel:getVariableProperty. I reproduced the problem with a simple test case with a synchronization of BPEL process. The process has only:

    receiveInput

    Assign

    callBackClient

The input schema is the default value with a node called entered as below:

    < feature name = 'process' >

    < complexType >

    <>sequence

    < element name = "input" type = "string" / >

    < / sequence >

    < / complexType >

    < / item >

In the assign activity, I am trying to get the input value using getVariableProperty as below:

    BPEL:getVariableProperty('inputVariable',_'client:process/client:input')

    -NOTE: I also tried bpel:getVariableProperty('inputVariable',_'client:input') and bpel:getVariableProperty('inputVariable',_'input')

When I deploy the BPEL process on soa_server1 and try to test em, I get an error like below:

The process of the selected operation could not be invoked.

An exception has occurred during the call to the Web service operation. Check the logs for more details.

I wonder if someone has faced similar problems. I would be grateful for all the advice around that.

    Hi Kiran,

I don't know why you are using bpel:getVariableProperty, your variable has properties? It would be smarter to use getVariableData

However, in BPEL 2.0 you don't need getVariableData, you can access all the content like that...

    $inputVariable.payload / client: input

variableentree = name of the variable

    payload = party

    / client: Input = query

    See you soon,.

  • Database for SOA Suite - EBS

    Hi all

There the SOA for EBS database?

    Thank you very much

    JC

    Hello

Please review the below notes complete which gives an understanding of how EBS has a SOA. 11i and R12.0 and R12.1, EBS is integrated into SOA SOA gateway where as of R12.2, EBS needs to be integrated with a stand-alone SOA Suite.

Installation of Oracle eBusiness Suite integrated SOA Gateway, exit 12 (Doc ID 556540.1)

Integration of Oracle eBusiness Suite 12.2 with BPEL in SOA Suite 11 g (Doc ID 1584883.1)

Integration of Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2 with BPEL in SOA Suite 12 c (Doc ID 1951625.1)

    Kind regards

  • DR Set for Oracle SOA SUite

    Hi all

We have to implement DR for environment SOA HA Production. Here is the overview of our production environment:

1 load balancer F5 to load balance requests on the web node.
    2. two nodes of the web - OHS layer is hosted on the nodes
    3. two node cluster - SOA and OSB cluster SOA is installed on both production AppS node (Oracle SOA suite 11 g on dual Cluster node)
    4 node RAC database

    Infrastructure avilable Dr. implemented are:

    1 one Web node
    2. a single Application node
    3. the database node

A standby node updated database in place is already done for DR replication on the end of DB.

We have to set up the Web and Application Tier npw.

Most of the documentation of Oracle that I lived contains as configuration. that is the DOUBLE knot DR put in place to double knot prod environment.

But here, in our case 1 Web and applications 1 node Dr. While for production, we have 2 Web and 2 nodes of Apps.

What should be the best approach to DR configuration with available infrastructure above. Should we just install the binary files on standalone DR nodes and route traffic through while we load balancer activity DR?

Is replication required disk for everything other than JMS queue store directories? If reproduce us the JSM file storage will be relevant at the DR site?

Is this Setup looks doable or do I consider something lse as well?

Configuration asymmetrical DR for products of BCI is flly supported by Oracle, this can be achieved by creating alias on the primary and DR server name and set the services to listen on the alias name.

We integrate the Oracle SOA suite with e-business suite.

We can able to take cold backup of home middle ware.

Well is me confirm possible to take backup middle ware hot?

It is possible that the backup will be valid backup? \

    Thanks and greetings

    Kumar

plain zip/unzip is a better option than the pack/unpack doesn't have a backup of all domain objects.
