In swf streaming in when preloaded prevents?

So! Here is y at - there no way to stop a load in .swf of streaming, using the charger, other than to have a stop on the first empty keyframe action of the load in the movie itself?

I always get the video to not show up, but what about the sound? How can I keep it is heard, streaming, during the preloading process?

Thanks in advance.

Too bad! Problem solved!

My last question above got me thinking and I found a solution!

    The crispy type portfolio, that's how they all make when no preloader is used.

    Yes, the fonts have been incorporated into the main file, portfolio.swf

  • Stream error when you call a REST Service

    I am doing a customer REMAINS with AS3, I followed this tutorial: http://help.Adobe.com/en_US/AS3/dev/WSb2ba3b1aad8a27b061afd5d7127074bbf44-8000.html

    My code is as follows:

    import flash.events.Event;

    import flash.events.ErrorEvent;

    import flash.events.IOErrorEvent;

    import flash.events.SecurityErrorEvent;

    import flash.net.URLLoader;

    import flash.net.URLRequest;

    import flash.net.URLRequestMethod;

    import flash.net.URLVariables;

    var url:String = "https://localhost:8443/restcomponent/tesimalex";

    var requestor:URLLoader = new URLLoader();

    function restServiceCall():void

    {

      trace("Calling REST Service...");

      //Create the HTTP request object

      var request:URLRequest = new URLRequest( url );

      request.method = URLRequestMethod.GET;

      //Initiate the transaction

      requestor = new URLLoader();

      requestor.addEventListener( Event.COMPLETE, httpRequestComplete );

      requestor.addEventListener( IOErrorEvent.IO_ERROR, httpRequestError );

      requestor.addEventListener( SecurityErrorEvent.SECURITY_ERROR, httpRequestError );

      requestor.load( request );

    }

    function httpRequestComplete( event:Event ):void

    {

      trace( event.target.data );

    }

    function httpRequestError( error:ErrorEvent ):void

    {

      trace( "An error occured: " + error.toString() );

    }

    The only difference between my code and that in the tutorial's URL variables, that I commented on, and the url used.

    My REST service is a simple GET, if I type the url in the browser, it shows me that the returned JSON.

    But in my AS3 when I call the method restServiceCall() returns the following error message:

    Error opening URL "https://localhost:8443/restcomponent/tesimalex? An error: [IOErrorEvent type = "ioError" bubbles = false cancelable = false eventPhase = 2 text = "Error #2032: stream error."] URL: https://localhost:8443/restcomponent/tesimalex? »]

    Anyone know whats wrong?

    I really don't know about this link, but in my opinion it's a security issue, because it opens in the browser, also for security reasons! as I see that you have disabled the safe browsing that of why it works in your browser, but not in flash. In any case try to download the file on the server because the good security situation be different then check if it will work there, use a text field to display the data.

  • Published SWF playing fast when file

    I wrote this in Flash Catalyst Forum:

    "I have a CF project which has 6 SWFs into it. When I run them as flash outside the CF, they run very well. I have the frames per second series 1 in Flash. When I import to CF, then publsih, that they are running at a very high speed. How I keep the fps that I put in place in flash? »

    Chris Griffith responded with:

    "Flash Catalyst works at 24 frames per second (at the same rate as a Flex-based application). The option only two I can think of is to redo the animations to run at 24 frames per second, or whether there is an ActionScript code that can be added in Flash Builder which can rest the reading rate. I'm not sure of the solution later. I would post it as a question about the Flash Builder/Flex forum. »

    Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem?

    Thank you!

    This code doesn't have a frameRate attribute in the Application tag.  Try

    by adding a.  You may need to use Flash Builder to do.

  • Recorded stream damaged when arrested and added

    I am combining feeds from a number of cameras together in a stream of data recorded, let's called it "serverstream.flv".  Source water courses are all webcams, and each user is assigned a stream name based on their name and a user id, such as "1_bob" and "2_julie".

    Sometimes presenters cease broadcasting temporarily and we just switch to a blank window.  The stream side server to stop recording at that time by calling

    serverStream.record (false);

    and then when the presenter is up I start recording with

    serverStream.record ('append');

    Viewers subscribe to serverStream and it works very well for them.  But the recorded flv is corrupted each time that I do this.  He played only until the first record of time stopped, then, after that data are severely mutilated. Some tools of Moyea can extract the audio and video, but the video there are errors with the images frozen or incorrect playback speed.

    But here's the strange part.  I tried just to record the stream of presenter individually, so there is a file called "1_bob.flv" and "2_julie.flv", etc.  In the same way, I'm stopping and adding to the need.  But these recordings are very good, without the corruption at the breakpoints.  After much experimentation, I find that the FLV stored is very good ONLY when they are appointed according to the flow of the camera.  If I create any data stream on the server, called something like "bob_stream" and play the flow "1_bob" on this issue, I get errors in the record.

    What could happen?  Where this might be coming from?

    I must emphasize that this is running FMIS 3.5 and worked perfectly until recently.  Then, the server has been updated with the latest version of FMIS, and we get this problem.  The code both client side and server side application has not changed, so there must be something in the FMIS configuration has changed, but I don't see what it could be.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I doubt that there can be question of configuration but I'll still check. I do not have your business logic and use very clearly, but before that I have spent more time on what can you change your code bit and see if it works: -.

    1 change the order of reading and recording is

    serverstream.record ();

    serverstream. Play(StreamName,-1)

    2 can you place Application.xml in your application (I mean at the level where you have your main.asc) and add fake

    under the //.

    Try this and tell me what results you get, in the meantime I'll try to look more in detail about your workflow code

    Hi - I have a few really really simple viewstack that gives me bad.

    The idea is that a different swf is deposited in each canvas of the viewstack, will be active when the display is active and dismantled when the view becomes hidden. Currently, funds sovereigns loading as planned, but audio continues to play even after the view is hidden.

    Not hideEffect, event mask.

    It works when he seen in flash. It works when I Preview in Web Easy Professional 5, which is where I inserted the movie in an html file.

    No idea why it won't play when I visit my Web page? I made sure that the film he made actually on my server and in the right folder and its there. I also have the movie to AutoPlay in the Web Easy Pro 5 settings.

    Hmmmm for some reason, my site is all messed up and distorted on the Plains HTML pages too. I don't know whats going on.

    Also I just found out that if I open my home page in the HTML editor in my cpanel I can 'Preview' page and the page works fine, loads of film and drama and all.

    LOLZ. I thought about it. There was something in my security settings that prevents any type of image to appear. Thank you

  • Access to variables in Captivate swf load problem when run locally

    I am charge 3 Captivate SWF in a Flash drive custom. Here is pseudocode that arrives just at the point:

    var cp1_mc:MovieClip = this.createEmptyMovieClip ("cp1_mc", 1);
    cp1_mc.loadMovie ("captivate1.swf");

    [wait (cp1_mc.rdcmndGotoSlide! = undefined) through setInterval]

    cp1_mc.rdcmndGotoSlide IS

    var cp2_mc:MovieClip = this.createEmptyMovieClip ("cp2_mc", 2);
    cp2_mc.loadMovie ("captivate2.swf");

    [wait (cp2_mc.rdcmndGotoSlide! = undefined) through setInterval]

    cp2_mc.rdcmndGotoSlide REST UNDEFINED INDEFINITELY

    The thing is, this problem does not occur when you test the movie in Flash, or happens when the player.swf is run on a server. This happens when the player.swf plays locally in an html page.

    Can someone give me a clue as to what is happening? My best guess is that it has something to do with Flash Player Security, because it happens that locally in a browser, but I do not understand what is happening.

    It turns out that it was a Flash Player security issue and I had to put the security settings to "always trust" for my local directory.

  • NULL session streams returned when you use MediaPlayer

    Hey people,

    When you try to play sound on blackberry os 6 on 9780 I get the error "session flow null returned" after 2 or 3 times of the sound during playback. The error is thrown in the prefatch statement:

  • .Swf animations work when you build a new folio?

    I added a few animations on my pages and they do not work when the desktop preview. Anyone can shed some light on this?

    Flash is not supported by Apple, so it does not work on iPad and iPhone. Since the desktop preview is based on the overview of the Folio as on a Tablet, it does not work at the preview of office as well.

  • I can't download the update for 3.6.15, it just shows that he 'streaming', also when I try to upgrade to 4.0 it tells me that I'm not allowed to continue.

    Please refer to the question regarding the upgrade of 3.6.15 and upgrade to 4.0.

    If you get an error that you do not have sufficient permissions or have other problems with update to update then easier is to download the full version and trash the version currently installed to do a clean install of the new version.

    Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop.

    • Trash the present application Firefox to do a clean (re-) install
    • Install the new version you downloaded

  • [HELP] External SWF with Movieclip Preloader included

    Hello world

    I have a problem headaching me throughout the afternoon:

    Inside of a SWF I want to load an external SWF inside an empty movieclip. On this image, I have:

    emptymovieclip.loadMovie ("external.swf");

    Inside the external SWF, I have a Preloader in the first image, consisting of a movieclip to 128frames. I want to appear from the first image to the 128th associated percentage of loading. When loaded, go to fram 2 and this is the script on the movieclip:

    onClipEvent (load)
    {

    total = this.getBytesTotal();
    }
    onClipEvent (enterFrame)
    {

    loaded = this.getBytesLoaded();

    percent = int(loaded / total * 128);

    text = "Loaded " + percent + "%";

    gotoAndStop(percent);
        if (
    loaded == total)
        {

    this.gotoAndStop(2);
        }

    }

    Needless to say that it does not and that is why I am asking your help.

    All stops on the first frame of the Preloader.

    I'm a noob to bit for script-stuff that I'm not a programmer, I'm sorry...

    HEEEEEELP!

    If you put

    _lockroot = true;

    in the main timeline of the external swf file, it refers to its own _root whenever you use a reference to _root in its code.  Otherwise, it refers to the _root of the main file that loads the swf file.  If it works with _root when you perform the external file separately, and so it should wotk if you add this line.

  • How to preload external swf file in my main timeline?

    To try to reduce the size of the file for download time... I have a SWF file that I placed it by using the "UILoader" (not sure if it's the right thing to do)... what I would like to work on is how to make a preloader in my main to this SWF file timeline when it comes...

    I hope that makes sense - I am very new to all this and struggling with terminology, etc.

    I thought that Actionscript would be right now what I need - but not a clue...

    I conclude this thread for people who seek a way preload external SWF files. However, please note that I started a new thread to unload the file again on a mouse event... so even if it's not completely final it will start the process of an external SWF preloading... Hope this helps someone.

  • How can just write normal text in Flash CC take up to 21 KB when making a swf?

    As the title says, I have a flashfile im working on, a banner. I noticed that the size makes a huge leap when I added a text box (just added the text, no animation and dynamics, etc.). So I tried to write the same line of text in a vacuum flashfile, and he went from 0 to 21kb. There must be something wrong, this can't be right. I'm also using Myriad Pro, so no funky crazy fonts. Fonts have always been a knockout 1-3, so that you can understand my dilemma.

    Is there some sort of setting that I can play with? From what I see, I don't have any parameters to tell the police to be shipped or simular.

    I REALLY need help with this problem.

    THX

    I actually managed to fix, but it took some time to understand:

    I had the "Select" button enabled, so all the text carried in the swf file. When I removed that, I finally got the size.
