  You need comment a few lines in Authenticator.java. You can find this file in web works folder widget sdk. Based on authenticator.java goto invokeAuthenticationDialogAndStoreCredential and comment out the call to function invokeAndWait.

  After making this change you need to compile your application.

  Note: After changing it, all of your console application which are compiled using this sdk will have this fix.

  I had a lot of Cisco AP related to Cisco WLC 2.

  On each WLC, I configured a primary and a secondary RADIUS server.

  RADIUS servers are Cisco ACS 5.2.0.26 (patch 10)

  ACS primary and secondary configurations are synchronized.

  There is no problem between primary rules WLC and Cisco ACS (primary and secondary).

  When secondary WLC asks primary Cisco ACS, I get this error "11036 the RADIUS Message Authenticator attribute is not valid.

  WLC secondary contacts automatically secondary Cisco ACS and it works fine.

  Cisco ACS description for this error: "this can be reason of mismatched shared Secrets."

  The two Cisco ACS are synchronized, so I should have the same error on them...

  Why primary ACS generates this error?

  Patrick: The shared secret mismatch could be on the side WLC, not on the side of the ACS.

  Make sure that the shared secret of the radius primary server is configured correctly on the secondary WLC.

  Here are the scenarios:

  (1) tunnel-group_A performs authentication using the digital certificate (PKI)

  (2) tunnel-group_B performs the authentication using AAA (RSA SecurID token)

  (3) tunnel-group_C performs authentication for LOCAL assistance (AAA user defined locally)

  Tunnel-group_A, B, and C are all using the same physical interface and outside the interface.

  I tested it, but it doesn't work the way I expected.  BTW, I have already disabled "interface authentication ssl certificate outside of port 443"

  Here are the results of the tests:

  If the tunnel group_A is configured with the certificate, then tunnel_group_B connection will fail, but connection tunnel-group_C works very well.

  It seems that tunnel-group_B trying to authenticate with certificate too, if she does not.  BTW, it seems to authenticate to the LOCAL help will still work.

  I understand that you can configure tunnel_group_A to "both" certificate and AAA, but that's not what I want.

  The solution was to change host URI node IP address, fully qualified domain name report. Reboot, repeat the test. Similar problem is described in the Doc ID 625148.1

  You can, but you need to statically register the database with the listener.

• The RMAN Client authentication

  When I try to use a remote client of RMAN (in a House of Oracle based on windows) to connect to a target (no catalogue) on another server using unix
  
  RMAN target sys / < passwd > @ < input TNS >
  
  I get the following error
  
  RMAN-00571: ===========================================================
  RMAN-00554: initialization of the package manager internal collection failed
  RMAN-04005: target database error:
  ORA-01031: insufficient
  
  I've seen a number of hits asks me a password file set upward on the database server - is that correct?
  
  Why do I need to use authentication external via a password file when I am specifying explicitly the sys username and password? Surely sys should have the necessary privilege. If I'm going to be forced to use the password file authentication, so why bother specifying the password for sys on the rman first command line!

  RMAN requires the user to be logged in with SYSDBA privileges.
  To connect as sysdba password of the remote computer file must be present. And remote_login_password_file must be defined other than NONE.
  I can think of this scenario, if you want so that it starts the database on the remote computer: If the passwords are stored in the tables of the dictionary and you can not access
  unless your database is open, so you cannot restart them. Password file can help you with that.
