in the face of rprc-1079 could start problem of resource ora.orcl.db

Hi all

I'm on the installation of an oracle ASM database

I installed the libraries of ASM and created the instance asm with diskgroup mounted successfully. I started the ASM instance to the oragrid user.

Don't know I handled the DBCA command to create a database named ORCL from the oracle user,.

I followed the procedure and during the phase of creation (at 80%) I had several errors

: rprc-1079 was able to start resources ora.orcl.db

ORA-01031: insufficient privileges
...

y at - it something wrong, or I need to grant privileges to access for oracle on directories?

Thanks for help

    Hi Jkoryzna,

Thank you for choosing the Microsoft Answers forum.

To solve the problem, fix the dependency for the spooler service information.

Click Start, run and type the following text:

CMD /K SC CONFIG SPOOLER DEPEND = RPCSS

Alternatively, to achieve this by using the Registry Editor:

Click Start, run and type Regedit.exe

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE-SYSTEM-CurrentControlSet-Services-spooler

In the right pane, double-click the DependOnService value

  • Unable to connect to networks wireless on laptop Windows 7 Enterprise. Cannot start the autoconfiguration WLAN service. "Error 1068: the dependency service or group could start."

original title: cannot start service autoconfiguration WLAN and EAP services

I am not able to connect to my wireless network. When tried to connect, it shows just "unable to connect."

I have the Intel WiFiLink 5100 adapter with the latest driver for Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit installed. The laptop is not a wireless connection manager and I am trying to connect using the Windows wireless connection manager.

I checked in the Services and found that service autoconfiguration WLAN and Extensible Authentication Protocol services are not running.

When I tried to start the WLAN auto configuration service, I get the following error...
Windows could not start the service WLAN autoconfiguration on Local computer.
Error 1068: The dependency service or group could start.

When I tried to start the service of Extensible Authentication Protocol, I get this error...
Windows could not start the service on Local computer Extensible Authentication Protocol.
Error 1053: The service did not demand launch or timely control.

I found that all dependent services for the EAP are running. And all dependent services for autoconfiguration WLAN service are running except the EAP service.

I searched the internet for the solution madly before posting here. Any help is greatly appreciated!

  • Print Spooler error 1068: the dependency service or group could start. __

I tried - unsuccessfully - restart the print spooler on a box of XP with SP3.  I read the previous posts for this error and this box refuses to restart the service.

Is there an easy way to fix this without reverting to a system reset?  Can I run a repair?  If so, it will fix the problem?  I tried to run a restore of the system to a previous date and who could not do anything for me either.

When you attempt to start the Print Spooler Service, error 1068 means "the dependency service does not exist. the dependency service or group was able to start. »

Depending on your environment and your type of printer installed, your Print Spooler Service will have other dependent services that must run before the Print Spooler Service starts.  If the dependent services do not work, you will see an error 1068 or a similar message on the dependent services when you try to start the Print Spooler Service.

Some Lexmark printers add their own XP services and start the Print Spooler Service, lists them as dependencies and that is why these Lexmark Services must run before the print service spooler will begin.  It may be listed as the LexBce Server.

You now or have you ever have all installed Lexmark printers?  If Yes, do you still use Lexmark printers?

Depending on your printing environment, if you use another type of printer, you can have other Service listed tab in the Print Spooler Service dependencies.

Use the Applet of Services XP to check the dependencies of print spooler and options.

Click Start, run and enter in the box:

    services.msc

Click OK to open the Services Applet.

Locate the Print Spooler Service, right-click, choose Properties, and then look at the Dependencies tab.  Services listed there must run before the Print Spooler Service starts.  If they don't, you'll get an error 1068 or a similar message on the dependent services when you try to start the Print Spooler Service.

You should always see the service remote procedure call (RPC) and maybe a few others depending on the type of printer that you have installed (Lexmark printers can add some dependency Services to your configuration of XP).  All dependent services must run before the Print Spooler Service starts.

Dependent Services may vary according to the type of printer that you have installed.

The RPC service is also required for many other things to work properly and is usually still running and the autostart value.

If the RPC Service does not work and does not start automatically, you can have other problems, but start with the easy stuff first.

Of the Services Applet, find the service remote procedure call (RPC) and if it does not, right-click and start it and set it to automatic.

Then find and all the other print spooler dependency services listed in the Print Spooler Service Dependencies tab.  They will be lance automatically the next time you reboot your system (if that is your desire), set the startup type for these Services to automatic.

When everything works as you want, restart and check your Services again to be sure that they start correctly and solve any addition
    questions.

If the remote procedure call (RPC) service is not listed as a dependency for your Print Spooler Service, you must inform XP that the print spooler service depends on the RPC service.

Click Start, run, and in the box type (including important space after the "equal" sign):

dependent on the spooler of sc config = RPCSS

Click OK to assign the RPC service for the print spooler service, and then make sure that the RPC Service is running and start your Print Spooler Service.

If you still can not understand it, react with the items that you see the tab of the Print Spooler Service dependencies.

Don't forget to restart and check that everything works correctly after each adjustment.

Please note that using the above command will effectively remove all the current (and perhaps old) Print Spooler dependency assigned for the Print Spooler Service and assign it only dependent on the RPC Service.  It would be 'normal '.

The dependence of CPP Service would be typical of most facilities, or after you have uninstalled all the time some printers (Lexmark), but your printer may have a few other dependencies.  If it still does not respond, we'll fix it!

Do, or do not. There is no test.

I need YOUR voice and the points for helpful answers and propose responses. I'm saving for a pony!

  • Error 1068: Unknown connection status: the service dependency or groups could start

    Hi all

I ave a problem with Vista service pack 2 running on Sony viao with the network. I have access to the internet, but my connection icon has a red X on it with the message "unknown connection status: the dependency service or group could not start". I did my homework to browse all the threads and have performed all of THE following conditions, but the problem persists.

    1. in the course of execution sys check through sfc/scannow

    2. reset TCP/IP through 1. netsh winsock reset 2. netsh int ip reset

    3. verification of all services such as the services in the list of networks and knowledge of network locations.

However the problem persists. I cannot forget to mention that the list of Network Services and network location awareness not start I get the same error when I try to start them. I checked all the services above is dependent on and they are started and set to automatic.

Is there anything else I can do to solve this problem other than the system of recovery or reinstallation? I have some stuff on my laptop that even if I save them I have given will be lost. for example the accounting software with its data, software for which I don't have the disk to re - install and the data in them cannot be saved on a server running. To make the story short, I really want to avoid recovery on the option of resettlement

As I said, I have access to the internet, but the mere fact that this problem is there, its that bothers me and I don't want to run bigger problems later

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks in advance

    Hi IMOMDS,

    1. don't you make changes before the show?
    2. have you checked if the network connections and support TCP/IP NetBIOS services are started?

Try these steps and check the result.
    Step 1: Virus scanner online
    a. visit http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/center/whatsnew.htm
    b. click Full Service scan and complete the scan.
    c. check the difference.

Note: Use your favorite security software to search for viruses or malware on the computer and remove it.

Step 2: If the problem persists, restore the computer to an earlier time when it was working fine
    a. see what is system restore?
    b. Once you have restored the computer, check if the problem persists.

Visit our Microsoft answers feedback Forum and let us know what you think.

  • Error 1068: The dependency service or group could start.

When you try to start a few automatic services (who of course has not started automatically) I get this error. Check the list of dependencies for each service they all list the HTTP Service. I have run this command: beginning of config sc = HTTP request and get a message that it succeeded, and restart the computer. No change. I run and do not restart the computer - no change. I ran sfc/scannow just in case he might find something but nothing. I even reinstalled the upgrade of Windows 8 thinking it could replace all of the corrupt files. No change. I wonder if it can also be the source of some other problems I'm having. With a certain Windows update for example.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

After you determine that the 'http' service was one of the dependencies for the print spooler start, and after finding that there is no such service listed, I came across this answer, which will allow you to CHANGE the dependencies. Basically, I deleted 'http service'. Click on the link below and scroll down to "method 3".
