  I apologize for the inconvenience that was done to you. Let me see if I can help. I suggest the initialization of the device to its default settings to solve the problem. Just click on the Menu button, then choose Setup. Go to main settings and look for reset default. After the reset, turn the camera and see if the problem is still there.

  Camera will automatically adjust mode program auto, shutter speed, and it cannot be changed manually. You can adjust only in manual shooting exhibition.

  In program auto mode, the camera automatically determines the combination of speed and the appropriate scene shutter opening. If you want to use a specific shutter speed, it would be best to take pictures in the priority shutter (S) Mode. Please set your mode dial on S and then spin the front dial to adjust the shutter speed.

  I am unable to what anyone slower 1/4 second value my shutter speed (in manual mode). I should be able to reach a speed as slow as 30 seconds.

  I can adjust the ISO setting (currently fixed at 100) and I can set the aperture and I can set the shutter speed to the faster speeds of up to 1/1600 of a second - setting a slower speed that 1/4 of a second escapes me.

  Any ideas?

  I've used a Canon 60 d which was brilliant! My husband bought me a 70 d at Christmas as a surprise. However, I have problems with the shutter speed. In automatic mode, everything is fine but on manual, Av, Tv etc I seem to be unable to change the shutter speed of a very slow release. I want to know if the unit is defective somehow, or if there is something I should be doing that I'm not. Please can someone advise/inform me what I can do wrong or if it's something I should take with Canon?

  First of all, you need to reset your 70 d to the factory settings. Check your manual for more information on how to do it.

  You can't troubleshoot anything until you are zero squared.

• The scanned Pages of ADF not readable-pulls sheets with different speeds & streaks page...?

  I have a HP Officejet Pro 8500 has more who struggled to properly perform the analyses of the ADF.  It seems that is happening WITH PDF FILES.  The ADF will get out the paper at different speeds, creating the effect below.  When it goes faster (you can hear it speed up), you get the lines; When he finds the right speed, you get what is digitization of bottom-good copy.  It seems to work correctly in photo mode, etc. - ONLY WITH PDFS.  Sometimes, it can properly analyze dozens of pages (and did very well in the past), and now he has started to do this.

  I cleaned the rollers, but appear not to be the problem if it happens only with PDFs.  I cleaned the glass of 1 inch Strip, but would not be the problem either if the bottom of the page (or top or wherever it happens to go faster) has NO scratches on it).  I have looked at post after post and cannot understand it.  What could be wrong! ???

  BTW, I have a Windows 7 64 bit computer that I use with it.

  I'll give you a link which deals with topics of the ADF.  Click here  This will show you all the ADF areas that need to be cleaned.  A wet coffee filter is a good tool for the cleaning of the rollers.  Alcohol friction broken residue sliding in this situation, but for a regular cleaning, I would recommend distilled, filtered or bottled water.  Nice day!

  Clear the cache and cookies from sites that cause problems.

  • "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > advanced > network > storage (Cache) offline: 'clear now '.
  • 'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems: Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

• How only have 1 image with scale based on content

  My knowledge (lack of, really) with content aware scale is that 1, you create a new background layer, and then resize accordingly. I did the following: - 1 - created a quick selection tool 2nd layer-2 used on my main subject (a person) and baptized. -3-hourly deselected resizes the selection - Edition 4-menu-> Content aware scale - 5 - to something more kid (chose my string named previous selection). -6 - you press "Enter".

  The result is that I can see now 2 images; the smallest sitting on the largest. What now? All I want is the small picture. If I throw the original layer that I found myself is the new layer with white and gray background by default showing as part of the image (who ends up current printing as well or if you are looking for as it is with grey-white. Is what I have to do what is clear - cut by cropping the unnecessary (grey-white) part? Or am I missing a step somewhere?

  In the general case you don't need to do a second coat of the same image to use Content Aware scale.

  Just choose the part of the image you want on the scale (e.g. with Ctrl-A or rectangular selection tool) (perhaps the entire image) and choose the command editing - Content Aware scale.  If you reduce you want to crop later in order to eliminate the rest blank.

  But maybe you try to do something more sophisticated.  Can you tell us a little more clearly your goals?
