  • Dell Inspiron 15 speakers out from time to time?

It's strange, I'm new to this forum and I'm sure this has been asked over and over again. However I can't find an answer to my particular problem. First off, I love this phone I got it one year exactly. No problem whatsoever so far.

A week ago, I turned off the computer and fell asleep as usual. Woke up it turned on and went online to check my e-mail and Facebook. I clicked on a video on Facebook, and there was no noise. It seemed weird because I had the volume up and everything seemed fine. Well, I tried to test the speakers, he said: "there is another device used by another application. Please close any device using this application and try again. »

Well I was close so it didn't make any sense. All I have to do is press the power button and the PC goes into sleep mode, then I turn it back on and the speakers work again... So I do not understand what could be causing the speakers works not when the laptop gets booted first? It is not sensible. I noticed one thing is if I turn the laptop and do not go on Google Chrome, but open a first video, the speakers do not come out. But the problem seems to lie with Google Chrome to open immediately after starting. Is this possible? Maybe someone else has experienced this same thing before, if you have any advice or information about a fix for this, it would be nice that I'm tired of having to turn off and on again and again. I'm worried that I'm going to wear it out.

Thanks for reading this long thread and any help is appreciated.

  • 8 casual Windows no noise problems. The camera is used by another application.

    Hello
I had sound problems with the speakers on an HP Ultrabook running Windows 8. Sometimes the laptop speakers stop working. When this happens, I go to control panel > sound, speakers (one set to select), select Configuration and Test. After selecting the Test, I get the message device in use. The camera is used by another application. Please close all units are audio playback on this device, and then try again. I went to the properties for the speakers, the Advanced tab and unchecked option "allow applications to take exclusive control of this device." I also used the term sndvol to try to determine the application, but it only shows the device: speakers / HP and Applications: System sounds.

The only way I could get the speakers to work is to restart or turn off and turn on the pilot for the IDT High Definition Audio CODEC. Does anyone know how to determine the application causing the problem? Thanks in advance for your help.

    Gary

On the forum of the community of HP HP technician found that uninstalling Microsoft update KB2962407 should solve the problem.  This update is a patch that says "shortened battery life when an inactive audio device is not turned off on a computer running Windows.  I installed this update on June 19.  I have no updates installed July, so uninstall updates July cannot solve the problem.

  • Question about the IP addresses of the members of the Group

My team is working on a big project using Cirrus.  Please make sure that we can solve the problem to connect to our audio servers when the client computer is running behind a proxy or a firewall. To do this, we would like to know if we can get different IP addresses (real and using a NAT) peer within our groups.

    Thank you in advance!

IP addresses of the peers (including the local node) are not available for ActionScript.

RTMFP server knows the addresses of his client (including reported addresses local behind NAT and public address translated observed).  Cirrus does not provide any API to retrieve this information.  According to me, the script server on Flash Media Server 4-side can access the address observed. I do not think THAT FMS 4.0 provides an API to access reported addresses server-side local behind NAT.

RTMFP you use to connect to your servers 'audio '? If a client can connect to the Cirrus and your audio servers are not behind a firewall or a NAT, then the customer must also be able to connect to the audio servers with RTMFP.

  • Audio input/output ports Thinkpad Mini Dock Plus Series 3 with inactive W520

I have 3 laptops W520 and 3 Thinkpad Mini Dock Plus Series 3 docks. The audio 1/8 "output audio and MIC ports are not detected by Windows. In the sound settings, the high definition Audio Device is always disconnected. I read that there was a problem with background sound via ports audio on an earlier execution of these docks, but the production on these date are all 11/07 (after Lenovo solved the problem). Someone had a similar problem? The ports are inactive for the W520 by design?

Solution:... drivers. Should have checked that first. I thought that our support office would have done that. I thought wrong.

  • How do Audio/Vedio streaming between web cams and back-end servers?

I want to implement an internet chat application, I mean, I want a front end, which connects a web cam (microphone and speaker). So I can send video and audio on a back-end server (Flash streaming? but I don't know what a good product out there, I can use) and also send A / V on another computer on the internet. Need in other words, a front end that sends one premises / webcam v (& mic) for the backend and receives remote has / v of backend for webcam (and speaker) + backend streaming server.

Any suggestions for techniques to use? What streaming flash backend server I should sue? How to acquire A / V of webcam (& mic) and how to send A / V for webcam & speaker to play?

    Thank you very much!

Before the end of development:-you can use Flash CS4/CS5 or Flex Builder.

Dorsal programming - programming side server is essentially using ActionScript. You can use Flash CS4, but there is no need special tool creation, you can do with the same text editor. After that you create, you just need to place the files in the right place on FMS.

Front-end length - you just need Flash Player installed, mainly ActiveX or plugin in your browser - which you would already have now

Also, if you decide to write the AIR application to your front-end, you need AIR - what is free again

    Hope that answers your questions

  • TV Toshiba 40L3433DG - not coaxial audio work?

    Hello!
I'm sorry for my sentence, but English is not my natural language

I have a problem with a coaxial audio output in TV Toshiba 40L3433DG, which is connected to the home theater LG BH6530T via coaxial converter in French - output optical. Home Theater is not playing the sound of the television but detect a TV - input optical signal is active in home theater settings, after that disconnect the cable TV coaxial, optical entry into a home cinema is inactive. I tried to play sound from TV programs (DVB - C), video from a USB key connected to the TV and YouTube.

I first thought that the problem is in the coax - optical converter, but I borrowed from my DVD player old parents with coaxial output, I connected the coaxial cable from TV to DVD and home theater has started playing the sound sent from the old DVD drive. In this way, I have eliminated the potential problems with the coaxial cable, converter cable to fiber optics and optical of entry into home theater.

There's the television... Now my question - does this kind of TV has a special option to activate the digital audio output? In the sound settings, I can choose digital output PCM or compressed. If the TV does not have a special option to activate the output, is the possibility to use a test mode to check the coaxial?

  • Radio Shark no audio with El Cap - fixed!

Just thought I would post a fix if anyone out there still has a Radio (by Griffin) shark and lost audio when the upgrade to El Cap.

Some information. After the upgrade to El Cap, I found that my audio Radio Shark had disappeared. The Radio Shark entry was still visible in the sound system prefs and audio actually sound level meter LED-style in moving window of entry prefs, but you could just hear the sound. Even stranger, when Skyping, the person I was Skyping with might the audio of the Radio Shark hea if the application was open, but I could not.

I went to the Griffin support pages, and they basically said, Hey, he had a good long run, but we do not support it more. I played with the MIDI parameters using the MIDI utility, but not luck. Last night, in a moment of inactivity, I did another search and found a mention of a solution as page 7 of 15 in a long thread somewhere (not here), and much to my delight, it worked for me!

The fix involved opening Final Vinyl and setting the entry (in the preferences for this program) to shark Radio I left Final Vinyl and restarted the application Radio Shark, and I got audio!

I just have a final copy of vinyl, but if I understand correctly, it's now free. I would first check the Mac app store, but it is also available on Softonic and Macupdate. I haven't used either of people lately, but it seems that these days, you might also get some these Mackeeper downloads and similar, so be careful.

BTW, I have NO idea why this Voodoo works in this case, but as I said, he did it for me.

  • HP Envy 6 1202sa: no audio output device is installed

    Hi all!

I think I'm having a crisis soon enough. I've updated for Windows 8.1 earlier, but it seems to trow a curve ball at me from time to time. Today is the IE its IDT high definition that audio Codec cannot be installed correctly, the properties display an error code 52. Control Panel > Sound > no audio device is installed.

I took these steps so far in my quest to solve this problem without success

    • Uninstalled > restart > install driver HP support page > reboot about 5 - 6 times
    • Used HP recovery manager driver and application installer
    • Conducted an analysis using complete solutions of Bitdefender antivirus to update and remove all possible threats
    • Cheecked status in Services.msc Windows audio services and restarted the process
    • Performed a manual installation of the driver

Note: Serveral windows updates have been installed on my computer in the last two days.

Some suggetions would be greatly apreciated

    @Sonya_Black,

Hello and thanks for the display on the HP support forums.  The first step I would do is run a system restore to before the problem started.  It will turn back all updates and modifications of configuration on your system.  Here is a link to help you with that.

HP computers - using the Microsoft System Restore (Windows 10.8)

In case of failure of the next step would be to perform a full recovery of the system, return to the original configuration.

HP computers - performing a recovery of HP (Windows 8) system

Please let me know how things are going.

Thanks again for posting and have a great day.

Good afternoon! I hope it's the right sub-forum for this post.

I have few months with my HP Pavilion DV7-6B78US, from the time when I bought I had problems playing audio, especially when the fort (I'D say after 50% in volume) with active beats, whatever the player, today I had with the question, can't really play loud music without my programs (still able to use the keyboard and mouse) freeze but all my applications (web browsers IM applications video output, etc.) would freeze and hang for a few secconds (sometimes music still plays while else everythign is frozen), then it goes back to work, but after another few secconds it would freeze again unless I lower the volume... This happens with or without active beats. I have restored my pc to the clean start through the HP Recovery Manager, reinstalled the drivers, verification and updates installed through technical Assistance from HP, looked for new drivers or add-ons for the audio drivers, regardless of what I installed nothing doesn't.

    Hello.

What about the HDMI audio output. I managed to install the updated drivers compared to those on the HP site for two video cards, Intel and AMD, the AMD driver driver required, signature but I have disabled this requirement (this was not an option on windows 7 Home Premium) everything works fine.

Regarding my system to crash or stop when I would play audio over 50%. I think it's the driver under windows 7, which is available on the HP site. I always thought that they were the best drivers available compared to the other drivers out there, but I guess I was wrong. Thanks to all those of you who have offered their help in getting this problem is resolved.
