incoming SMTP

Hello

Have a TZ 100 feature and an assistant to my mail server, works fine can send!

But can not receive mail.

In my view, is something with nat policies and access rules.

I can send and send another email to can receiver mail try response and respons is dns type error.

Have a MX to my server behind my TZ 100 appliance

What I have to do, remove do not auto

Since it is a TZ100 you should ask about it in the forum of network security.

Best bet is to prosecute and have a tech help by examining your policy and NAT inbound access rules.

  • Exchange mail problem entering internet server

    Hello

I registered a domain on godaddy.com and I exchange server 2010. My question is my exchange server can send and receive emails on the same network (LAN). Can I also be able to send emails outside the network (to the internet), but I'm not able to receive emails from outside of the network (from the internet). I opened port 25 on my router and given the IP address of the Exchange Server. My firewall is not blocking port 25. I still don't know why I am not receiving emails from the internet. I checked the setting DNS GoDaddy, a record and MX record seems perfect. Can someone help what is the reason for this? can ISP blocks incoming SMTP connection? I can send emails out-of-network times via the host assets and DNS MX record.

    Thank you

  • IPSec by 837 to a pix501 am

Scenario: The user has a router 837 for ADSL access with an assigned IP address. The router has been implemented with outgoing dynamic nat overloaded by a static and 25 (ACL) port forwarding for incoming smtp mail.

We want to put a pix501 within the 837 to provide a sort of demilitarized zone and to provide remote access vpn service. We have implemented the 837 with dynamic NAT overloaded with three static (and ACLs associated) to the smtp port (25), NAT - T (500) and (IKE) 4500. The PIX is set up with the dynamic nat for its external interface also overloaded by a static for port 25.

This config works great for all outbound traffic and inbound smtp traffic. But we cannot establish a vpn over the Internet, the VPN client connection don't 'touch' the security gateway - which implies failure ISAKMP. If connect us a VPN client directly to the outside of the PIX and use his external IP for the IPSEC peer address we can establish a VPN connection very well, proving the VPN PIX (?) configuration The pix is configured for NAT - T support due to the 837. Also, the VPN client is configured to use NAT - T. ISAKMP is disabled on the 837.

Is there a reason why it would not work? If AH is still used?

I see the port udp 50 is typo, ike needs udp 500

  • PIX, VPN, PAT and static

I want to activate an incoming and outgoing VPN on a PIX configured with PAT. I enabled ESP and UDP/500 on the appropriate access to the lists, but must provide a static for inbound traffic. I already use a static for incoming SMTP traffic, and I don't see how to do the same thing for udp/500, but how do I ESP traffic?

    Any suggestions gratefully received.

If you are referring to a static port, you can create one for ESP since static port can only be created for TCP/UDP and ESP is located just above the intellectual property, it is NOT a TCP/UDP protocol. You will need to create a one-to-one static for this internal VPN server and have your clients to connect to this address. This will chew global IP address to another one, sorry.

  • PPTP to NAT

I have a client wanting to allow PPTP entering the internal network of teapot. They perform NAT on a 1751 with IOS 12.2 and have a single public IP address. They use static NAT entries to allow incoming SMTP and Terminal Server services. Static NAT entries do not support the Protocol 47 (GRE) so we can not do it this way. What are the options should they do otherwise? I think they'll have to get another public IP address and translate all incoming traffic to this Ip address to the internal IP address where PPTP ends. Who will work and can they have several external users of VPN connecting to the IP address of the internal network only via NAT? Thanks in advance.

The only way to do it is to get a second IP address, then set up a static translation one for her and that all your users connect to this static IP address. Yes, multiple users can connect to this IP address, no problem.

The issue here is, as you said, you cannot map GRE through with just the one, IP addess so they need each other and map all protocols through him with just a standard static NAT translation.

  • where can I find my server outgoing smtp password and I might as well ask where my incoming server password is too much?

I have THUNDERBIRD for my email. Very happy with it. My computer is dead, new computer purchased Windows 7 on purpose. But no one can help me load Thunderbird because we can't find these passwords... they ask? Any help would be appreciated. WindowLIVE mail drives me crazy. I'm old and not stupid 65, but the computer is stressing me without end I received over 70 emails per day. I really don't want to give up my bellsouth account. I don't want to go through att. I like the look and feel of thunderbird. Help... Thanks in advance. MaryLOST

They are stored together... so you will find them all at once.

Tools menu > options > Security > passwords > saved passwords > show passwords

However, I think that your problem is more likely your anti virus/firewall blocking Thunderbird. Often, when your request a password that's not incorrect settings, it is anti virus did not cooperate. It is with ATT security suite powered by McAfee and Norton suite.

Turn off email scanning in your anti virus program. Component check and firewall allows Thunderbird explicitly. Car is not good enough apparently. If this does not work for you. Please add the troubleshooting information to your post

  • How to find my incoming and outgoing server names?

There are two servers associated with any browser, and they have different names. They must be stored somewhere.
    examples: smtp.gmail.com and pop.gmail.com

                     outgoing incoming

    Thanks for your help.

I don't know if pop.gmail.com is just an example or what you use but IMAP works better when controlling electronics with multiple devices.

    Vs Google IMAP POP.

  • How can I change the SMTP server to any server I want to?

This is a common situation, and I have seen many others ask a similar question. It is a simple question, but Thunderbird does not seem to allow it. In my case, I have a choice of two mail server outgoing. I can use my hosting company Godaddy or my Internet provider, the local cable operator Charter Web. By default, Tbird uses the same mailserver incoming and outgoing, if possible, so my e-mail account has been configured to use the outgoing Godaddy server.

I would prefer, however, to use the local server SMTP of Charter. But I can't find any way to change to that of Tbird. I could do it in Outlook Express, because both servers are listed for each e-mail account and can be changed.

In Tbird, there is a drop down menu to choose an outgoing server, with no way to simply type in a new server. Or am I missing something? I think not, because others report the same problem. I have vague memories that awhile back, Tbird would you allow to specify all server to an e-mail account settings and then test their validity before finishing - a manual of against an automated way to set up an account.

The main thing is I want to review the outgoing server of what I want, but it doesn't seem to be a way to do it.

When your problem has been fixed can you mark the thread as "solved" Please?
    Thank you.

  • "Error-type in" features on HTTP/FTP/SMTP screw close?

This is one for the developers of NEITHER, or maybe people of help documentation.  I noticed before, but never had time to questioning officially it.

The screws 'close' in the libraries of the project LabVIEWSMTPClient, LabVIEWHTTPClient and NI_FTP indicates that they "error-type in ' features, unlike most of the primitives 'close' for TCP, UDP, BT, DS, and even the VI 'close' in the library of NI_WebDAV, which States that they fulfill their function even in the presence of an error in incoming.  What seems inconsistent.  These Protocol libraries ignore the usual mechanisms of closing / prepared if "error in" is set to true, or is the incorrect documentation?

    Dave

The documentation is incorrect... all three of these narrow screws (SMTP, HTTP, and FTP) release properly resources regardless of the value of the error in the terminal.

Jonathan, please drop a CAR documentation on this issue.
