Incompatible representation of Documents from My Documents
For some reason, today, Windows Explorer no longer displays c:\Users\MyUserName\Documents. It shows no Documents c:\Users\MyUserName\My. When I navigate to this folder and click in the address field, the path changes from the old to the latter (until I click elsewhere). As if the file is actually the former it's translates to Windows Explorer to present to the user. I show-hidden-files on and I also tried to show system files. The problem persists.
I looked at c:\Users\MyUserName with the DOS shell and it shows documents but not my Documents.
I used Cygwin to access c:\Users\MyUserName, and it shows the documents as well as a My Documents folder as a symbolic link.
What could possibly be going on here, and how can we get a coherent representation of the file system?
It's just one of the seemingly constant flow, no end of pathologies that consumes those of work and personal time like a deadly cancer voracious. But the truth is, I think I prefer pathologies of Microsoft on cancer, even though the two lop off important parts of life. <\Rant>
Adding insult to injury, this site keeps demainding that I select in the drop-down list fields, even if all are populated. Enable the display of hidden files and file system/os (of the your folder options View tab). Then inside your Documents folder, delete the hidden file desktop.ini . My original photos which is held in the files the photo amounted to 120 files and occupy 202,66 GB, it seems that the organizer of items has now exhausted still 146,92 GB for images and 113.9 MB because I guess that metadata.
