  Assuming that your spelling is correct, your computer is probably infected by malicious software. Download, update and perform a quick scan with Malwarebytes.

• How to create a procedure for REF CURSOR output with any WHERE clause?

  I have a requirement like this: I have a huge question that need to reuse in my code over 10 times. This SQL has about 50 lines. Here for these 10 odd times sometimes changes in WHERE clause (columns are the same). So I can't create a view as SQL is not static.
  
  I thought to write a procedure with a para of WHERE_CLAUSE entry. I pulled out a refcursor sys by adding where clause. But I can't do it because you cannot add a clause like this where clause.
  
  i.e.

  PROCEDURE dynamyic_query (p_where_clause IN VARCHAR2, p_out_query OUT SYS_REFCURSOR ) IS
  BEGIN
  
    OPEN p_out_query FOR SELECT ......... FROM table WHERE || ' ' || p_where_clause;
  
  END;

  The foregoing gives an error.
  
  How to handle such a situation? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Looks like you can only set column_name =: z, column_name =: values of type y. You can not it seems to replace it with no WHERE CLAUSE?

  A bind variable, such as: it, represents a single value.
  If: is the VARCHAR2 '1 = 1', then

  takes the value

  It may be that im forgetting to do, but I don't understand this at all. =\

  I can't change my features of GOLD fills for all what I select or even when im not to select. The only option I get is a white box with a red slash through it (being without color option).

  

  It's a rectangle, I created just to show which continues. But I don't have colors in any place I can think. I loaded the default RGB color in the swatches Panel options, but they are not yet to show where they are supposed to. =(

  the query is very effective-index and takes < 1 second to execute that ok ist for the size of the Tables (~ 500 MB). So far so good.
  
  -> NOW I need the fastest 1-line out of this query result. But when I do
  _ Select * from - damncomplexexpressionwithleftjoinsandwhatever - where ROWNUM < 2
  It takes about 15 seconds to run, what ist too long! Unfortunately I do not have the values to put in it, so I'm looking for the fastest way without any other conditions.
  
  The result is not ordered, or grouped by--> so why doesn't Oracle just choose the first row it gets and runs in 0.1 sec?

If I can't go back to FF3, I'll have to stop using FF completely so I can have all the features of my new laptop. Nothing bothers me more to buy something new, love everything it can do, then get an update that which saw upward.
