• Why is there a update alert whenever I run Firefox?

• AP fails to reach the controller

  I have a controller 4402 and I try to add a 1200 AP series as the first point of access.

  The controller has 5.2.178 a version of the code and the AP has just been converted from autonomous to lwapp.

  I checked the date and time of the two units, and they are in a few minutes apart.

  Here's what the AP shows when it is start and fails to reach.

• By using the password to hide and show fields? (instead of toggle)

  Back in George_Johnson 2010 post the script below, it allows you to turn on or off the field with a password.  I tried and it worked perfectly.  But when I had a friend try my document, there just by clicking on following in disabled fields (buttons) trying to make them work.  I realized that I really need to do is to hide rather than turn them off.  I thought at the script below could be changed to show/hide instead of turn, but I don't know enough about java still to do.  I started to try, but I think that I do not yet know enough.  My buttons I would like to hide/show are X, Y and Z.  Thank you George or anyone who has an idea about that.

• Auto restart, a process?

  I have 5 servers production and recently fell on a lot of trouble with Symantec Antivirus.  Customer Service continues to fail on a couple machines and I was wondering if someone could go through how to implement a command that starts the service automatically when availability alert is fired up until I can solve my problem of Symantec with the manufacturer?
  
  1 rtvscan.exe process on the target server, alert dies fires in Hyperic and I am notified by e-mail.  Hyperic works very well and does its job, but my server is not protected until I see the email.
  2. I would like Hyperic to issue a command that lance rtvscan.exe as soon as the alert fires.  Or, if necessary, may issue a hecatomb of order first to make sure it is actually stopped, then 1 min later issue a start command.
  
  I looked at the tab order and none of the options really makes sense to me except KILL.  Any help would be appreciated.

  While you can certainly create any type of script and attach to the AC to run control actions, the open product source does not support automatic control actions. These must be user initiated in the software open source.

• Confirm the dialogue?

  As a beginner in flex with a fairly good knowledge of Javascript, I was thrilled to find available Alert.show () function to replace the function alert(), I often used in Javascript. Who did... was wondering y at - it a corresponding function for the confirm() function as well? I tried Confirm.show (), but with no luck, as who stands as a property undefined.
  
  I was hoping there is a simple way to activate the modal dialog boxes for confirmation, I wouldn't have to build an entire component just for that.

  I have a new 531 edge just upgraded to 8.1 Win. The Lenovo Solution Center gives me an alert to the Virus Protection - even if Norton says that everything is OK. When I click to activate antivirus Solution Center, nothing happens. How to cancel the message?

• Installation/uninstallation of Windows software is not available or is installed incorrectly.

  10 days ago, I had a crash on my computer then download a new antivirus package last of McAfee. I deleted the files altered the antivirus.

  Since my installation/uninstallation of Windows software has stopped working with 'not available message' I use Revo uninstaller, to remove the software from the hard drive and I cannot install the software with the window Setup.

  Does anyone know how to remove a corrupt Windows install and install new software?

  As another consequence of the foregoing, Windows Update does not work all of the updates fail to install on multiplle automatic updates - even after using Microsoft Fixit Center. To try to solve this problem, I uninstalled packages network 4, 3.5 and 3 in reverse order with the intention of re - install. Unfortunately I'm not able to accomplish this task using Windows Update-"all the priority updates are 0 bytes

  All the specific details to remove and re - install the Windows Update software from the hard drive files. I've completed this task a few years ago, following instructions from Microsoft Support, but I do not have that information now.

  I suggest you to follow the steps and check if it helps.

  Method 1: Unregister and register the Windows Setup program again

  (a) click Start, run, type MSIEXEC /Unregister. and then click OK. Even if you do it right, it may seem that nothing is happening.

  (b) click Start, click Run, type MSIEXEC/REGSERVER, and then click OK. Even if you do it right, it may seem that nothing happens, or you can briefly see an hourglass. After you run this command, the operation is complete.

  Method 2: Run check file system (CFS) analyses and checks to see if it helps.

  File system (CFS) Checker

  Note: System File Checker allows an administrator to analyze the files all protected to check their versions. If the System File Checker detects that a protected file has been replaced, it retrieves the correct version of the file in the folder cache (% Systemroot%\System32\Dllcache) or the Windows installation source files and then replaces the incorrect file.   Hello, I use MS Outlook 2007 and Windows Vista.  I get an error message when it is sent and receipt that States - "your IMAP server wishes to alert you on the following: 100 (1032), that mail is not currently available."

  I have studied this issue online and I was unable to find a solution.  I went to the MS Office support, they have major problems, but they do not have a space where you can type in your question, which was not helpful.  I also went to Outlook - Tools - account settings - then I fixed the 6 emails that have IMAP.  It will setup process and once finished it is said: "Congratulations," I have sent test emails to other emails to all IMAP accounts and I received.  The error message constantly, and I don't know what else to do.  Help, please!

  I request assistance here. I activated a control host for LogicalDisk available capacity rule. The rule is the calculation of space based on the percent of available capacity. I want to put at the level of the GB instead of %.  As a result, if there is the 10 GB available on drive C alert must trigger.  Rule condition is as below.   OK, it's a good thing to do, since % is not always the most important to watch.  for example, you must always 50 GB of free disk space on a data store, regardless of % in use.

  I created a new rule to monitor space available in megabytes using the topology of logical disk for my windows Hosts. The rule is also trigger alerts for CD/DVD players.   Hi all

  Recently, we encountered a non usual problem with restarting the database because of the ORA-27063

  number of bytes read or written is

  incorrect #IBM AIX RISC System/6000 error: 28: no space is available on the device.

  Database version: 11.2.0.4

  Type of system: SAP database

  Computer type: AIX

  When the investigation we found the full systems 100% file where resided temporary files. So to solve it, we simply added tempfiles on other file systems.

  My question is why the db restarted. As far as I know the TEMP tablespace will throw an error (unable to extend TEMP of 128 segment in tablespace TEMP) every time that

  There is no free space.

  Secondly, to avoid the above, that we began to find the TEMP files from file systems and if found 90% and above then began adding space on all the production servers to avoid

  reoccurance of this issue. Is - this recommended...?

  It can be consider as an alternative (using a cron task) or if you watch in em12c could control, so you can host some metrics to check temp space.

  Now, one last thing to consider, it is not advisable to go to increase temp (to be honest, we need optimize queries, why won't they are eating take so much space)

  Third step, you can put a profile (limit) so much space is used, then kill the session so that they eat no place (so that db will not get crashed at least... only session will be started - we can very well with that, instead of hammering db)

• Hyperic alert metric of availability

  I have a problem with Hyperic event alerts on availability.
  I just want to alert and e-mail when a server is no longer available.  I use the metric standard of availability that Hyperic collects and the alert I set the triggers on the event that availability is equal to 0%.  I am getting a lot of false positives where I'm alerted that availability is 0%, but when I look there is no problem on the analysis server, and even the chart availability shows no sign of 0% availability.
  I tried to configure the alert to trigger only when the 0% event occurs 20 times in 1 hour, but even this still falsely raise the alert sometimes.  I tried this in different environments and exhibit the same problem everywhere.
  Is there an easier way to detect when a server went down or are no longer available?

  check the time synchronization between the server and the agent.

  Hyperic is very (IMHO too) sensitive to the poorly synchronized clocks, and false alarms on metrics of availability with no evidence of a failure on the server are the most common symptom.
