  When I print my documents, the printer cuts the headers and footers. I use Microsoft Word 2013 and have checked to make sure that the margins are narrow as Tess in Word, but the printer cuts my headers and footers. An error message appears that reads the document is out of print areas. This is a mistake with my printer, and if so, what is the solution? Thank you very much.

  The specifications have not any information on restrictions "margins".  In general, the high margins and the size may be restricted a.11 inches, while (for some printers / paper) the background may etre.5 inches.

  IF the printer like / limit top / bottom margin a.5 inches, so that the word 'Narrow' margin setting may be in conflict with the ability of the printer to print the document.

  Maybe you can change the margins of the document 'Normal' or something similar.

  You can also adjust the settings individually.

  Word Document > file > Print > click on layout > layout tab

  Check to see where your headers and footers are defined compared to the whole "Narrow margin" setting.

  You can adjust the header and footers downwards / upwards away from the title of the document / paper edge.

  Example:

  Word Document > Insert > footer (drop down menu) >

  (look at the bottom of the parameters available footer) Change the footer > adjust as you wish

  My Adobe seems to play up. I have set up the headers and footers on the muse and then since I updated to this new version of response - on the homepage web - header moves on one side and when I go to other pages header moves to the other side. Goes the same for the slider I - when its on my macbook pro, it's fine, but when I move to a bigger mac or on a computer it all goes funny and appears as the image resizes in response to the size of the screen. Also my objects on the screen just light up either so big or smaller on different pages. I'm not really happy and this must be given Monday.,.

  Acrobat Pro, you can increase the size of the page with the crop tool.

  If you use the traditional menus, on the file menu, select Page layout

  If using the orange Firefox button, click it and then select print and then Page Setup

  First of all, I would like to apologize if this is the 100th thread started on this.  I tried, in vain, for the answers, I need and I'm at my wit's end.

  I'm quite new with InDesign, so I opted for the model 'Manual.indt' create my manual.  My manual will make about 35 pages before adding images.  I was able to put the text where I want it, but I can't understand how to change the 'LOREM IPSUM' that occurs in what I assume is the header area which includes page numbers.  I played a bit with the display of frames and notice that there's a dotted line instead of a continuous line frame, but I have no idea what it means.

  I have read the help manual and followed the instructions to make a header, but I was not able to make the changes I need.  Maybe I shouldn't be in the header, but I don't know.

  A line dotted around the Lorem Ipsum indicates that it is on the Master Page. Edit/gain access to a master page have the pages Panel and double-click on the icon of master page located towards the top of the Panel.

  If you are unable to select the area of the gray box, it's probably a net of paragraph. These are commonly used for underlining text, but can also been thickened upwards and compensate to appear as a box behind the text.

  To add a rule above or below a paragraph, select the text, choose nets of paragraph from the paragraph Panel menu or the control panel menu, and enter the appropriate options in the dialog box.

  This problem started when I installed the HP software on a new machine of Windows 8, IE 10 running.  The printer is an Officejet 6500 E709n.  Windows print preview displays the headers and footers, but with all the margins of valeur.75 and Shrink-to-Fit turned on, I get just the lower 1/3 of headers and the top of page footers with space 1/3 empty above and below the respective lines.  I followed the suggestions posted on the deletion of the current copy of the HP software, and download and install a new copy, but there is not change.

  Any suggestions?

  Windows 8, you are limited to 10 Internet Explorer version, but the Microsoft community had discussed the issue and suggested reset internet options advanced.  It was a minor hassle to redo some of my settings, but it corrected the problem.  Headers and footers are correctly IE10 impression.

  Turning the page is only for the formatting of data - the page is not literally transformed for printing.

  In most print even if the pages of a book are enabled for the landscape, the header and the footer are still in the same position.

  If you need pages in landscape mode with headers and footers in a different location - you need to do these pages in the section "Master Pages" of the Pages panel

  Then apply these new Master Pages to the pages in your document.

The headers and footers have been more difficult. After some stumbling autour, I managed to create a master page with an approximation of our info header and footer. However, when I apply the master page to a topic and then export this topic in a doc Word headers and footers disappear. This isn't what I want! How can I make sure that my headers and footers are applied to my out of Word?

  I have a Microsoft Word 2007 document with headers and footers. When I use the PDFMaker icon to create a PDF for Acrobat 9, I need the headers and footers to be included in the Panel tags and have a number in the control panel. However, the header and the footer are completely ignored by Acrobat and treated as 'background '.

  I really hope someone has a suggestion on this subject; Otherwise, it will be a huge amount of work for a long document add headers and footers in the control panel and the tags panel.

  PDFMaker "correctly" - H & F are not part of the flow of the page, so that they are not marked as such. When you read a novel out loud, that you do not have page numbers, so nor should a screen reader.

  There is no option to change this behavior, other than placing the information on the page in Word without using H & Fs or change thereafter in the TORU Acrobat tool.

  Normally you do it as follows:

  1. the pseudo models folder right click and set a new model.
  2. When you change the template, add your information to header and footer.
  3. Once this is done, click the tab headings at the bottom right.
  4. click once on any topic. Press Ctrl + A to select all the themes.
  5. make right click list topics selected and choose "Properties" from the context menu.
  6. click on the general tab.
  7. click on the menu drop down and choose the model that you create.

  Voila!

  Looks like your BMP format is defined to respect the heads side.  Open the designer of TFP and try to put it like that...

  

  I have no idea why the script would have changed your BMP formats.  Depends entirely how the script was executed - the authore makes the script actually do.

  I suspect that you can import formats of a document where you have NOT run the script, and it would return to the formatting to the way you want.  I hope you save your work!
