InDesign 5.5 default color box

If I want to define a new field of color, or if I want to change one, the dialog box's default. It displays a list of Pantone Solid colors instead of CMYK or RGB picker.

This happens in every InDesign document from servereal weeks. So I can't set new colors or change existing laws more.

How can I get the program to work correctly again.

I'm not shure wether I have to reinstall my InDesign 5.5 and the weather, that it always works.Screen_Farbfeld.png

Adobe has a service for own vulnerabilities. I would be grateful for any help.

The easiest way is probably to restore you the InDesign preferences. Here's how:

Garbage, replace, reset or restore the application's preferences

Every so often, the default color in new text boxes is set to a color at random... then when I click and drag a new text box, the color automatically changes to white, for example and all typed text in turns white. How can I go back to the good old black (or any other color besides) for new areas of text in the future?

  • Set default color in black and white for HP Officejet 4500 driver

Is it possible to set the default color setting black and white driver and not in color?

I know how to change the setting for each document that I want to print, but I print almost all black and you want to set the driver up to always default to black so I did not change the setting in the properties of each time.

  • Want to return to the default color, so I can stop seeing the Green and purple faces borders

I only had my computer for two months.

I'm playing with the colors, and now I can't go back to the default colors. I managed to get rid of the purple text, but cannot get rid of the Green faces with everyone, stories in my own personal photos.

I SEE everywhere is purple and green.

I took many choices by going to "customization", but all I want is to go back to normal / default. I don't want text and colorful faces!

I've been in Control Panel > appearance and personalization > personalization.  I don't want this COLOR; I just want what it was when I bought it.

Thank you, Bill, but the instructions in the link you gave said I must have an administrator account; I don't.

I called Dell tech support today and this guy couldn't have known what to do after an hour of playing with it remotely. He wanted to send me a label and I could box it upward and send it to them.

He put me on hold, and I just hung up.

Then, I took it back where I bought it.  This store asked me to leave it for a week.

So I went with the computer and sales one of the guys to let me use his computer to get onto a chatroom with their own technical support.  Their tech support guy had me do an uninstall of graphics and then reinstalled.

    It worked. Yay!

  • Lost my default color chart

    Hello

    Hope you are well.

I work in an InDesign doc and have created a shade of gradient.

However, I have lost all my default color chart is the only qualification that I see in the swatches, this shade of gradient panel.

Is there a way the default shades can be recovered or refilled? Thank you!

Try clicking on the small button at the left end at the bottom of the Swatches palette to show the nuances.

  • New user: Question on default color "black".

I apologize for my English is too bad, I hope you understand what I'm saying and help me find the problem.

I got a deal for print in indesign, and I used the default "black" color to cover an icon, when I exit the job of printing, the "Black" area became overprinting. I had to check the setting of the color 'Black' and it is correct (100% Black, no overprint... etc.)

Finally, I created a new 100% black (all the setiing is the same as defacult "BlacK") and used it to cover the icon even once, the output document had not discovered any problems at the moment.

I want to know what is happening to him? Is this normal? If I'm not again I have this overlay problem, should I create a new 'Black' every time?

    Top: using New 'Black '.

Second: use default "black"(red circle is the object of the overprint)

    Sample_2.jpg

Yes, it is a normal behavior. The black swatch in InDesign overprinted by default to 100%.

You have discovered the easiest way around it.

  • A color box control are editable so that only 4 colors can be selected.

    Hello

I wanted a color box to be used as a control so that when left clicked, there are 4 colors that they can select which will dictate what will do the program.  Currently, make a left click on the color box brings a variety of colors, and the only ones I can control are the colors of the "user", which I modified it to display only the four colors I want.

However, the remaining color cursors and colors of history etc. are always displayed.  Is it possible so that only the four 'User' colors can be displayed by clicking the color box?

    Thank you.

    Hi Bobby,.

I suggest using a ring of photo instead. Here, you can see only 4 colored rectangles systems (differently) to the user...

  • Random colors are too dark. Questions on the color boxes

    Hey all,.

I'm trying to change the color of the plots on a graph of mixed signals remotely using the 'color box' which works very well. However, I'll also put squares of color to a color at random when the program starts first of all which is where my problem lies.

What I am doing, is that I have a random number generator pumping a number then I multiply the number by 10000000, just to give me some brighter than the dark colors, and then I wired to I'm defining the random color on the color box control. The problem is that even if it does not the decent colors some colors produced are quite dark and difficult to see on the graph of mixed signals.

I could make the graphic background a different color if I have to in order to see a majority of the colors coming out, but I would rather that have the colors come out on the side that is bright and colorful.

So I have two questions for you guys and girls:

    1) how the colors of the colorbox get determined using the unsigned int 32?

Such an example of why I'm confused, is that the number I had is 5726420 from the random number generator (+ multiplies), but under the control of colorbox RGB value is R:87 G:96 B:212. Why is this?

    2) there is any type of algorithm out there that someone did which can produce random values that will give the kind of colors neony? or whatever it is semi bright indeed?

    Any help is very appreciated!

  • System color constant color box

    Hello

I want to know how LabVIEW manages the system color values in the case of a change of system. For example:

I develop a VI on the 'A system' and choose the colour system of the 'window' to the constant color box. Now I run the VI on another "system B".

From LabVIEW now the system color "window"System B"or retrieves a fixed value of time on 'System' of LabVIEW Development?

    Kind regards

    Christian

It uses whatever colors are the system colors for the machine on which it is actually being run.  Use the colors of the system B.

Same for fonts.  If you use all the symbolic as fonts dialogue, application,... and they are attached to the dialogue system fonts, application, menu (I could have these names wrong or mixed) through LabVIEW or .ini file "app" of the exe, it will use whatever windows are fonts.  This can cause problems for an application where the façade was based on an older OS size where the system fonts are different and smaller by pressing the app gets on a newer OS such as Win7 where the police are something else, but also larger by one or two points.

  • Cursor and default color for annotation

    Hello

I am looking for a way to change the default color for the sliders and chart annotations. The default color is a bright yellow. I use white background graphics and they are almost invisible. Given that I have point find a way to change the default color, I searched for a way to detect that a cursor or annotation has been placed on the graph but there are no such events. Right now, the only way I found to solve the problem is to periodically read the lists of annotation and slider and change the colors of the sliders found in the black. However, this solution consumes precious tiles on my 500 MHz Geode CPU.

If there is a way to simply change the default color, it would be the best solution.

Anyone has an idea on how to do it?

    Al hood

    Hi Al,.

I do something similar in one of my applications, where a user can add cursors. I hijack the cursor event add and set the cursor before I add the cursor to cursor list.

Is not the same as defining the default color and I don't know how long this would save CPU, but it can be useful a go.  Check the definition of the cursor cluster a typedef.

I know that the construction can be a problem, but this is just a quick fix

  • change of color box with the value of the probe

How can I use a color box to display a value of sensor... ? I tried, but it's just dark blue blue...

by example, if I have a distance sensor box color gradually shifts from red to green (perhaps and yellow for the middle) for a value between 0 and 255.

    Thank you

Try this, use only a simple interpolation.

  • framed color box color changes randomly - with red, blue and yellow

    Hello

I want the user to do something when the color box changes from black (ready) to green (together), then red, yellow or blue (go). The user wil know what colors come to them.

The user will will push a specific sequence of buttons depending on the color.

Success will push the sequence of buttons assigned to a specific color. There are 16 push buttons. (this is to recall and response time)

In any case, I can write the program without problem.

The user can test red (push a specific sequence of buttons according to red), then blue and yellow. I can get to repeat a color so they will make four tests.

    Sorry for being long-winded.

My question is how I randomly generates a color to begin a trial.

If this set of tests is unclear by the subject on go the color was presented randomly as a guest.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanking you in advance,

    NK

If you have a fixed set of colors, put them in a table and generate a random number between 0 (Array Size-1) and an element of the matrix of the index. Multiply the random number (0-1), multiply by the rounded and maximum value at most closely to get your index.

If you want to generate a truly random color, use the RGB color VI and wire 3 random numbers between 0 and 255 to generate a random red, green and blue component like this:

  • How to set the color black as default color

I installed a new monitor (acer). Printing color is blue as defalt. I want to change the default color black. How can I do?

What is "print color" has to do with your monitor?  Printing color is determined by your printer.

If you really want to tell the color of the text that is displayed on your screen, you will need to specify what text in which application.
