  Hey, I just started to test InDesign CC 2015 with El Capitan. Now, the first problem occurs: if I want to create a link to an image has more info on the name in the image dialog box. • RoboHelp 2015: Cannot close the project

  Thank you for your suggestions. I always had the problem, so I called the Support Adobe technique. They were very helpful. Unfortunately, the problem was of my own making. I had, for some strange reason, had used special characters in several topic names. That was the problem. Once we removed the special characters and re-recorded all, the problem has been resolved. We think that there not also useful that I had the name of the project with a long name. We changed that as well. I didn't know the optimal length of name, however.

  If I understand the question you add a node to call at the end of your application to exit. As it runs as a stand-alone application or in LabVIEW there will be out or stop the execution. I have attached the VI that I use in my applications.

  We have Adobe CC (not the 2014 yet).  I have a client who cannot open InDesign files that have been saved as IDML.  Although they open, but the cursor just spins never go to the arrow to work within the file.   However the same file can be opened on other computers and users with InDesign CC very well.  She can even take a since his office existing InDesign file and open and save it as a file IDML, and then if she tries opening it will have the same problem.  File opens but the cursor runs forever.

• Dreamweaver CC 2015 freezes on the open file

  I've seen some other posts about it in the past but did not help.

  When I opened the files sometimes even only 4 KB large program will freeze for about 30 to 120 seconds before opening the file!

  It may have something to do with the files... it has a CSS, jQuery and another JS file.

  I already have my preferences > General > files associated... > discover... for manual.

  I also did this thing in the registry with the game ResolveRemoteURLToIPAddress false

  After I have highlight text and click on the arrow in the drop down menu, the font list opens and I can click a new font, but that's all.  It will change to this policy.  He's stuck on the same policy.

  I have just opened an Indesign file in the latest version of Adobe InDesign and for some reason, on my layers panel have lost the indicator bit layer square on the right (see below)

  It's really frustrating me, I don't know it's just a setting somewhere, but I can't find it.

• InDesign CC 2015 finishes loading

  Since the last update InDesign CC, when I open InDesign it never seems to finish loading.

  It's on a Windows 7 Professional 64-bit system. Here are the symptoms:

  • The Welcome screen is very (very, very) slow to load, sometimes more than 5 minutes
  • The tab 'Libraries CC' blinks constantly, but never to load any content
  • The menus are not usable. Try to select a menu will flash briefly and disappear.
  • The "wait" cursor (blue ring small spinning) flashes constantly

  InDesign is completely unsuable in this State; I can close the application from the button close window (X in the upper right corner of the application window), but not any other way.

  I tried:

  1. Registration and on my Adobe account
  2. Deleting the preference files and cache
  3. Uninstalling and reinstalling InDesign

  None of them had no effect.

  This * appears * have occurred after the "CC Libraries" feature has been added. (At least I never noticed this before feature.)

  I also noticed that there are * two * "Adobe CEF Helper.exe * 32" processes that run continuously.

  Any ideas? I'm dead in the water with InDesign and does not work at all.

  Just to follow up on it and (with luck), put him to bed:

  I've just updated to InDesign CC 2015.2, and the new version seems to have solved the problem. I wish I knew what was wrong with the previous version of 2015, but I guess I'll take an installation works on an understanding of why it didn't work before.

  I upgraded to CC 2015.5 2015.  After you have installed indesign, it allowed me to open the program once.  After closing the program, any attempt to reopen causes an error pop up during the splash screen that says "Adobe InDesign CC 2015 has stopped working" and leaves the program.  I uninstalled / reinstalled two times with the same results.  Other 2015,5 improvements seem to be fine, only the Indesign program is having issues.  Any advice would be much appreciated on how to fix or revert to the previous version that worked.

  We are aware of the problem where InDesign crashes on launch while working with library files stored on a network location.

  We are working on resolving the issue and for the moment, please try the solution that we have identified.

  To work around the problem, please follow the steps below:

  Clear the Cache InDesign either by renaming the Cache folder or deleting it altogether. (It is best to rename the folder)

  The location of the cache folder: -.

  Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\Settings\Application Data\Adobe\InDesign\------\Caches\

  Windows 7 or 10: C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Adobe\InDesign\-\Caches\

  Macintosh: Drive hard/users/InDesign/Library/Caches/Adobe///.

  In addition, if your workflow requires you to work with the (different) library placed on the network, please make sure you close the library panel before leaving InDesign.
