  After using Dreamweaver CS3 on my desktop PC Windows 7 (64 bit) (HP Pavilion P6320Y) for well over a year with no problems, it suddenly won't open.    All other CS3 applications continue to open very well. I tried some of the other solutions out there, I've seen on the net 1) looking for files that could meet the criteria of 8192 KB of bug, 2) reset back to XP, compatibility mode 3) I reinstalled the program, 4) I ended the process in Manager tasks, 5) I looked for configuration *.dat files to remove a person mentioned and found all those who have been appointed as he suggested. I'm puzzled. Someone at - it ideas?

  It worked the first time for me, but I tried all the other suggestions in this thread first, so I'm not sure if it was a combination, or just the action of the sfc/scannow .

• I can't open attachments Yahoo mail, but can in Internet Explorer. Tried all of the suggested fixes and nothing works.

  I tried all that on the previous thread for the same problem and I can not open attachments. I have no problem with attachments in Internet Explorer. It looks like a problem of FireFox for me.

  Whuch suggestions did you try? Here are two recent threads, I found:

  • Firefox 977835/questions/977835 used to download all attachments from yahoo, all other downloads work email
  • / issues/978924 Cannot open the pdf attachment in Yahoo Mail. Worked in 25.0 not 25.0.1. Still works with IE.

  Are you accessing Yahoo Mail directly from https://mail.yahoo.com/ instead of via a bookmark? Edit: I see already suggested this and linked to another thread, philipp/issues/971042

• InDesign CC 2015 will not open

  Hi all, I'm having a problem with my copy of ID CC 2015. I use the application on a computer to Win7 64-bit. As far as I know, we have no major update of the system or the changes in the last days.

  When I try to launch ID, I get an error message that says "Adobe InDesign CC 2015 has stopped working" but essentially, the splashscreen is displayed and the application attempts to initialize, but never completely starts because of the error. S

  I had this problem with the previous version of yesterday, so I've updated the app via CC this morning. The same problem persists.

  Anyone has a suggestion for what I could try before I have to call Adobe support and lose 2 hours on the phone?

  Exactly what I was expecting. We can solve this problem. It is related to MSVCR120. DLL file. There are two ways we can go about this:

  1 send me an email with your details to return call and I will get back to you to solve the problem.

  2 follow these steps in the exact order, and you can do it yourself:

  1 reset (rename or delete) files (en_US) InDesign preference files the and itinerant. Please see: InDesign and locations of support Preferences

  2 download the repair MSVCR files from this link: Download Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 updated 4 of the official Microsoft Download Center

  3. download the first two files EXE (x 86 & x 64)

  4. run both of them one by one, choose the repair option.

  5 restart the computer after completing the execution of these two

  6. start InDesign and you should be good to go.

• InDesign CC 2015 crashes when opening at home

  I use Indesign CC 2015 with UTC 5.0.0 for font management. To work, it works fine, but when I get home I'm going offline to disconnect from the server. At home, Indesign CC 2015 gets stuck to the Panel get started with "Application is not responding. However, once I went back to work that's fine. He worked at home when it was the version of 2014, so I suspect that something is wrong with 2015. Any suggestions?

  I had similar problems with Indesign CC 2015 today (stalls / hangs when starting Indesign).

  I went to the library > Application Support > Adobe > then moved the Indesign folder to the trash, no not delete (just in case).

  Restart Indesign and it worked fine.

  It worked for me.

  There are so many messages on this error dating yeas.  I tried all.  He used to work without any problems.  I tried the changes DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4, I reset my routers hundred times.  I entered my IP address in my browser and tried in this way.  No matter what I tried my Services Web will not work.  I have reset the factory settings and reinstalled the software on my computer to make sure that what was allowed.  Any other tips or thoughts?  Y at - it a proxy address that I can try?

• Lost administration account - desperate - tried all of the suggestions

  Desktop computer Dell 2008 - Home Vista service Pack 2 - old computer XP - just followed set up guests and finished with 'Administrator' in my name with the password. No problem for two years and then read that it is not a good idea, must have and operated from 'standard' account Create standard and dial-up account Standard IE rollers > Admin/Admin > standard - reasoning, perhaps wrongly, that I would have immediate access to all the work done in two years under Admin a/c.

  Now cannot do anything - only standard account appears on the Welcome screen - can not login as admin - can not access the Admin account - cannot make changes to user accounts - cannot use System Restore - cannot download updates that do not automatically – user account is disabled and cannot be changed - safe mode does not show admin account - cannot run mechanical disc Register etc, etc...  All I get are messages to without administrative rights or contact administrator - never get asked to admin password - I know.

  Have you tried all the suggestions I found on these forums - cannot download Tweak UI Powertoy - command prompt does not work - this is the answer I get that I don't understand:

  I am not experienced at this - have backed up everything on my external hard drive that I decided my only option was to do a clean reinstall from the disc that came with the computer, although I would not be able to get Service Pack 2 now unless it is somewhere in my backups, but being desperate I thought I'd risk - BUT I can't do even that I don't have the right permissions.

  There are two methods to access the construction administrator for both Vista and Windows 7 listed on this link - I knew that method 1 would not work for me because it is downloading a file that I knew my computer say that I was not allowed to run but I found 2 method of preparation - I now have my account user with administration rights , can uninstall programs, download free software, run my registry cleaner etc etc - fantastic.

• Firefox will not open at all, after the last update (13.08.2015).

  After the update (40.0.2 @ 13.08.2015) just used Firefox open. The process is visible in the Task Manager, but does nothing. no window. JUST. NOTHING. It works only in safe mode or when ran as administrator. I tried other computers from home too. Same thing.

  How to fix?

  Try a clean reinstall and delete the program folder before Firefox to (re) install a new copy of the current version of Firefox.

• New Firefox 8 opens in "subject: home ' page and when I go to any Web site I enter in Google other than Google, I got a 404 - Not Found error." Have tried all of the suggestions found in the help so far with no fix.

  Open any Web site, such as www.facebook.com or www.yahoo.com, example: directly on the address bar shows a 404 error. Entering on the entry of Google bar, I get a Google page that looks more like Ask.com before getting a 404 error when clicked.

  I'm not familiar with TextEdit.app but I did a little research...

  I think you have 3 options:

  (1) switch how TextEdit opens files .html them appear as web pages to show the HTML source code. This article describes how: Activate TextEdit in year HTML Source Viewer with a Simple change of settings.

  (2) If you do not want to change in #1, open the file from within TextEdit using file > open and check the box "ignore rich TEXT commands.

  (3) you can also add .txt at the end of the file name. When you open the file, TextEdit should not try to view as a Web page. After installation, you will need to return the file .html for Firefox extension to be able to find it for import.
