  We use a type (Universal Type Server) with Adobe CC Manager.

  When you open a file in InDesign CC 2015 I get an error: saying "original Version missing."

  The original version of the x of the fonts in the document is not found in the database of the universal Type.

  I just Extensis support on this issue:

  "Pick best match when original is missing" must be activated in the preferences to activate automatic universal Type.

  You can find it in the menu Type in InDesign.

  I am a panoramic photographer. I entirely sewed files having a set of XMP metadata, combined with a program called PTGui special enabling them to be transferred to pano of Google look at a system. I can bring them into Lightroom and export without any problem. However, when I put them in Photoshop for editing, saving the JPG file, metadata XMP necessary for Google are deleted. I'm including two files, a pre-Photoshop with all the XMP data and a post-Photoshop with the XMP data deleted. Exif (Image metadata) Viewer of Jeffrey Friedl is a great tool to see the XMP data.

  I saved the pre - Photoshop.jpeg using Save as CS2, CC, 2014 and 2015 CC CC.  PTGui stuff is stripped only in registered CC 2015 file...

  I don't see the problem with "file > export > export under".

  New computer, Windows 8 fresh 64 bits, installation of Adobe installed CC InDesign CC, tried to open my book project CS6 (a about 19 in indd documents) and CRASH "Adobe InDesign CC has stopped working". No report or the newspapers that I see. I was working with these files with InDesign CS6 on another machine yesterday.

  Been sufficiently updated InDesign to know that this is definitely not normal.

  Any help here? I can't work up until it's settled.

  You could try to export individual documents of the file book as .idml (with a new name) and import it back into a new CC file book.

• My computer seems to hang when I start or restart.

  My HP computer has 6 IM of ram core i7 windows7 Home Premium and whenever I restart my computer, he can start all the way and the problem is I can not click on Start menu and cancel all the shortcut icons until I press ctrl + alt + delete and after that the upward Task Manager I just click and then I am able to use my computer.  Can someone help me on this problem and thanks.

• Finder hanging when trying to share files to send

  I use a MB Pro 13' bought a few weeks ago. The OS is the latest version available. I had a few problems with blank email that was resolved by uninstalling completely Security adds on called Trusteer / report.

  Now a new and very irritating thing started by which I can't share a file to send by right-clicking on the file (in the finder) and selecting PART - EMAIL. Normally, a new e-mail window would jump upward with the file filling already. All that was needed was to add text and the recipient and send it.

  The finder window becomes almost insensitive and I need to force quit and then relaunch it. The only life I can get out of the finder window in this State is that I can scroll vertically in the window, but only a limited number of files is visible. The slider on the side right up and down but does not actually move the files.

  The only way I can send a file to someone by e-mail is to create an email and join from there. This method works very well.

  I also noticed that if I try share a webpage to Facebook, he will not do that. Safari becomes unresponsive and I have to restart. Restart the machine makes no difference.

  I bet my bottom dollar that article applies to Windows 8 as it does for Windows 7.  A lot of old registry setting the date of return to Windows 95 and is still present in later operating systems.

  Hello

  You must create this registry entry.

  Press the button of the Windows Logo + R to bring up the run dialog box.

  In the type of line open: regedit.exe , and then press OK.

  In the registry, navigate to:

  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer

  With the selected Explorer key, in the right window, right-click and select

  I use Indesign CC 2015 with UTC 5.0.0 for font management. To work, it works fine, but when I get home I'm going offline to disconnect from the server. At home, Indesign CC 2015 gets stuck to the Panel get started with "Application is not responding. However, once I went back to work that's fine.   I went to the library > Application Support > Adobe > then moved the Indesign folder to the trash, no not delete (just in case).
