The Application Manager lists only the first CS6 in option, which takes 20 seconds to download and finishes (obviously not the program).  This is a reformatted machine and a brand new facility - no previous version is still on the machine.  Literally, the CC was the 2nd application installed.  I managed to install other applications CC 2015 - Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom, etc.  I have the full CC license and have installed Premiere Pro CC 2015 on my main machine.  Any help would be appreciated!

  Have you checked the first Pro CC 2015 requirements to see if your computer meets them?  If your sytem was short somehow the Desktop Manager it will list not by download.

  So many entries of URL blocker, Adobe, this is the reason why you are unable to activate the CC apps.

  Follow the procedure below:

  • Remove all entries that has name of adobe. Then close the Textedit, it will Autosave.
  • Make sure that there is no entry of Adobe on the inside.
  • Then copy and paste the Hosts file in folder etc.
  • We replace the modified hosts file that we had copied on the desktop with the original Hosts file inside the folder etc.
  • When you are prompted, the authentication by password Mac,
  • Be sure to select the option Replace ...
  • Once you have replaced the Hosts file, double click on it again and check if the Hosts file is free of Adobe entries.

  You could reinstall using the way complete three steps (the otherwise strange things may persist):

  (1) uninstall (check the box to delete the preferences),

  (2) run the cleanup tool, see the link below,

  (3) reinstall.

• Songs not checked in iTunes becoming checked again

  Because I have long run out of space on my iPod classic 160 gb I only sync checked songs. It worked very well for a few years now. A little while ago iTunes started a reverification of the songs that have been previously unchecked and so I can sync is no longer my iPod because there is also a lot of music to synchronize. Three times I laboriously unchecked all the songs I don't want on my iPod to make room for new music. Today the same thing happened again and I get fed up. Does anyone know how can I fix?

  I don't know how to prevent iTunes to change this (have not seen myself) but what you can do is create a normal playlist (not smart) and drop all songs that are not controlled in the playlist.  If checkmarks appear later, at least they are easy to spot and fix.

  But first, to help identify and consolidate uncontrolled songs, create two smart playlists:

  • Checked songs = media type is the music; Checked the songs only = Yes
  • Uncontrolled songs = all Match: media type is the music; Playlist is not checked songs

  The Unchecked songs will allow you to select them all and put them in a normal playlist (not smart).  Don't want to rely on the smart playlist 'Unchecked Songs' forever because it updates at any time the songs will be checked, if you did it or 'the ghost of iTunes' did.
