InDesign CS5 text around invisible object wrapping

I don't know how to describe it other than to say that it looks like the text is wrapped around an invisible object, or there is some sort of adjustment range that I'm not aware of. See picture attached. In the large text box, the text is not all the way upward. I put a red box around the area problem (the red box is NOT part of the InDesign file.) All objects on this page have text wrap the text No dress upgame. I have the lag of page text box on this screen to show you how when I go outside the right margin, the problem goes away, it's what makes me think that this is a margin setting. I checked to make sure that no empty text boxes floating around, causing this, but I can't find anything. Thanks for the hints!

Nothing wobbly at all.

If you open the drop-down list of layer you will see there is a block of text with visibility turned off. He has applied film.

I use CS 6 and when I have an image without text to top group and try to wrap the text around the object group my text disappears. • String of text around an object?

Hello! I tried to create a box around a shape, in this case a car. It's a bit like making a text to wrap an object autour , not along it, not on the border. I want the text to be everywhere, except on the object.

But every time I have to create the path and click the cursor somewhere on the way to work the text comes from if poster normally and don't deform. I saw a lot of videos on YouTube all that but they never wrap the text around the object in its entirety, they make the text box on one side. Is it possible to create the area of text around the object in its entirety and not only on either the left or right of it?

    Info:

I chose the path of work before you click in it.

I tried to make a selection in shape, but it did not work like that either.

I use the latest update of Photoshop CC Windows 8.1.

No, this cannot be done unless you manually insert spacing. The text ends only the path from the inside, and the path cannot be a complex path with a hole in the middle where the car is.

  • Can someone guide me in the process of wrapping text around an object. I'm missing something here

I have a circle and I want to distort the text around the top and then some different around from the bottom. I can't understand how to do this. Can someone guide me through the steps please?

    Thanks Beth

I have a feeling that you don't mean dressing. I think that you probably want to text on a path, with a path on top and the other on the bottom. As on a label where the type of curve in the upper part of a circle, and another trail meanders around the base.

    Is this fair?

  • InDesign CS5.5 cannot select objects, they do not show more in the layers panel

I received a file from a client .indd. There are some items that I can't select. I know that they are not locked because I can't select ' Unlock all on spread. " The strange thing is that the objects do not appear in the layer panel. If I uncheck the eye of the layer, they disappear. But if I uncheck the eyes of all the individual objects within the layer, the objects that I can not select are still visible. I have attached a screenshot. Can someone please?

  • Wrapping text around the image in illustrator cs4

I am trying to create a brochure with text around the image wrapping, I followed several tutorials online as http://Hotfile.com/DL/714028/a47ed1a/the.Lord.of.the.rings.conquest.Razor1911.part01.RA http://www.Tutorials-expert.com/tutorial/19302/Wrapping-Text-around-an-image-in-Illustrato and a few others, but I followed these instructions, and I don't see any effect. Thank you.

You must mark the thread has responded that it is a situation which, for some reason, through users, often even if it is covered in the tutorials.

Answered no real need to designate a user as one who has answered the question mark just the thread. This problem comes up often, and it's always the same user error.

  • How to wrap an existing text box around an object?

I installed the columns plugin for Photoshop CC 2014 and it does what I want it to do, however, every time I "columnise" my existing text box, which is wrapped up another image using paths to work (it comes to the video I looked to create the package), the plugin removes the work path connected as if it were a new fresh text box , I created, remove the packaging.

I was wondering if there was a way to wrap text around an image/object, preferably after I put it in columns existing .

    Thank you.

Ok. I installed the extension (I love the way that the extensions install using the Application Desktop Manager now) and it works well, but as you say, it does not account for the retention of the text shape/path and makes a new text box.  This text box is not based on a path, so you cannot modify it.  So low line here is Uber columns won't do what you want.  You could always email Anton ([email protected]) to get a definitive answer.

But it's frankly hard to manually change your shape.  Well actually it's a little bit tedious, but not rocket science.

    1. Make your shape.  An easy way to do it would be to make as a selection, and then click Make route selection work icon at the bottom of the Trace Panel.  Drag the resulting path on the icon new way to save it.
    2. Now drag two guides to mark the gap between columns.
    3. Zoom way to the top of your path where guides cross it.
    4. Select your pen tool and place the cursor on the intersection of the road and one of the guides.  You will see a little + when you do this, add a point.
    5. Do the same thing to the other guide intersect, then add a third point between them.
    6. Press the delete key.  You now have a gap in the path.
    7. Down to the bottom of the track work and repeat.
    8. With the selected pen tool hover over one of the end point, and then click.  (You should see a little icon of string that indicates you are at the right place.)  I don't see that for some reason, but it still works.
    9. Now, hover over the end point above or below.  When you see the tiny icon (), close the path.
    10. Repeat for the other side.

Not quite there yet.  You make the way to work in a form.

    • Go layer > new fill layer > solid color chose to any color. You disable this layer when finished.
    • Select the text tool and place the cursor within the form.  The pointer changes to a vertical bar with dotted circle. Click and paste the text.
    • You can store the text in Notepad or in a text box.  It does not matter.
    • It will not automatically be extended to the next column.  You will need to do it manually.

Ahh... Just remembered.  When you close the original form in two distinct forms, the corners will likely swell.  Hold the Ctrl key to select the point angle, then Alt to drag the handle down, the low point.

So there you have it.  Or just use InDesign, or even [spit] MS Publisher.

  • A text will not wrap around the object. Some does. Anyone?

I worked in InDesgin (currently the CS6 for Mac) for many years. I'm not an expert, but fairly well-versed and comfortable with the program. I think I know almost everything about the wrapping of text and its options and how it works. But it drives me crazy.

I have an imported MSWord part of the text. I have an item I want to insert in the text. Normal procedure. Easy. But this text will NOT wrap around the object. What about other texts? Yes. Other text in the document wrap around that object even very well.

I rebooted the computer and the program. Check the settings as much as I can think and even spruced up the document from scratch as a MS Word document. Yet, no film.

This happened to someone? What is going on? Help.

Check the options of text block for the text that will not wrap. Ignore text dresses it is checked?

  • Why can I not move objects and text boxes in Indesign CS5.5?

I've recently upgraded to Indesign CS5.5.I have worked on a document and everything was fine, but I suddenly realized I could move is no longer areas of text or objects using the direct Selection tool and dragging. Objects do not just move. I can move them by selecting them and then painstakingly moving with the arrow keys. I can also reshape their dragging points middle and corners. The objects are not locked and are not on a locked layer. The "anchored object ' options are grayed out and I can not also copy one of the objects."  Please can someone help?

  • Wrap text around an invisible column

If it's too complicated, that it's not serious! I want to wrap or twist a line of text around the equivalent of an invisible column from top to bottom, so you can see the text as it wraps/twists around her. Is it easy to achieve?

I think they want to tell envelope slipped around a round column invisible as in 3D.

    If so

    make the text a symbol

Then draw a rectangle, half the width of the column and the total height (not race and color filling)

The rectangle of the effect > 3D effect > revolution

while giving the 3D effect, go to the function of veneer of the 3D effect dialog box

Check the invisible geometry of the mapping dialog box and

Select the column to which you want to map the text

then in the list of symbols, select the text symbol

Preview and position and or resize it as you want.

BTW if you want to part of the text appear in the front, but it appears in the back when you return to the dialog of revolution that you simply rotate the column until you see the desired text in the front.

You should read the help files on the symbols and the 3D effect.

  • Cannot wrap text around object! AAAARRRRGGGGHHH!

I am trying to wrap text around an image jpeg, but every time that nothing happens. I also noticed that whenever I have create a sublayer and attempt to place the derect under the jpeg format layer text is on, HAVE invariably creates a layer named "type" directly above the layer of jpeg. Should the two layers be selected before giving the command of film text object? Or another solution?

This is the jpeg format that you apply dressing and you must have the type of area as well. You probably use typographic points.

Cut the text from the text path, and then create a block of text to the width, you want text and paste the text know to place the block of text in box behind the jpeg.

    See all right.

Here, there is no type nothing to do!

Here the field type (text block) = magic

  • I want to wrap the text around a transparent sphere

I want to be able to wrap text around a transparent in illustrator sphere, such as the text of Forefront is darker than the background text.  I followed this tutorial logo 3D (new) - YouTube video, but I can't understand what is happening after expansion to 06:13.  Can someone help me, please and thank you.

Assuming that you got to the part where the object is expanded (06:10), depending on whether you choose the "direct selection tool" and select only the outline of the circle (invisible, but if you wanted to see go to view > outline) carefully not choose anything else and delete (twice). And then you just object > Dissocier 3 times. as a result your forehead back text will be selectable.

  • Wrap a line of text around the 3 sides of a "box" in 3D?

    AI CS6.

If I draw a rectangle and you use extrude and bevel to create a 3D "box" shape, how to wrap a single line of text around three of the sides?  I created a symbol in the text and it shows in the selection of the "symbols" of the window of the dialog box "Veneer", but that one side of the 3D box is displayed at a time.  I expected to see a flattened shape box showing all six faces, so I could place accurately the line of text.  Similar to what you see when you look one way for a 3D object.

It's even worse if I ask one edge beveled extrusion - there are 40 separate 'faces' to deal with.

    Ken

It won't work the way you want.

You can only map to a surface at a time so you'll match thre occurrences of the symbol manually.
