2.1 update Rollback

Before you go back, you might as well try a factory reset first. Since going back to also have the same effect as a factory restarts. Most people find that the phone works much better after a reset.

Here is the link to return to 1.6.1 or Android 1.5.

    Hi all!

    I want dv6-7252eo laptop.

I would like to replace my Intel Centrino Wireless - N with Intel Centrino Advanced-N dual band 6235 2230.

This is especially because I would use 5 GHz network and I find my current NIC really unstable and unable to work with the latest updates. Had to update rollback so I can use it. I did some research but I'm still not sure if my laptop can support newer network card.

Here is my info to laptops:

Product name: HP ENVY dv6 Notebook PC

    Product number: C1Y10EA #UUW

    BIOS (Setup): F.28 - 25/07/2013 (last updated)

    Total memory: 8.00 GB

Processor name Intel (r) Core i7-3630QM CPU @ 2.40 GHz

    I have installed Windows 8.1.

I would like to add a few more memory RAM as well, my laptop supports 16 GB.

    I already bought Corsair Value Select 16 GB (2KIT) SO-DIMM DDR3 1600 MHz CL11.

Do you think it will match with my laptop? I am currently using 8 GB (2KIT) DDR3 1600 MHz Hynix.

No, in my opinion, 8 GB of RAM is quite enough for a computer.

  • Question about the rollback segment when you perform the update

Undo segment is to keep data ACI (not D). I read that it taken from the book of certification, when the update is running, all the other session will be redirected to cancel the segment to get the original version of the data. Is the rollback segment just a copy of the original version of the data? Or it's the query to return data to the original version?

For example, the original data are:

    ID name address
    1KevinToronto

Then I run the update query:

    update user name = 'Tom' where id = 1;

What is in the segment of cancellation then?

    There ' 1, Kevin, Toronto'.

    or

"update users set name = 'Kevin' where id = 1"?

    Thank you

    Hello, jusbajan!

Thank you for joining the communities Support from Apple! Looks like you have a problem with the Finder doesn't work don't properly on your iMac. I know how it is important to be able to use the Finder and make it work properly at all times. I suggest you to start the computer in safe mode to see if the problem that is happening there. Read this article here: try safe mode if your Mac does not start-up. Even if the Mac starts up properly, safe mode will eliminate startup problems that could cause problems like what you experience with the Finder.

    Start in safe mode

Follow these steps to start in safe mode.

    1. Start or restart your Mac.
    2. As soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key.
    3. Release the SHIFT key when you see the logo Apple appears on the screen.

After the Apple logo appears, this may take longer than usual to reach the login screen or your office. This is because your Mac performs a check of directory of your drive to boot in safe mode.

To leave safe mode, restart your computer without pressing any keys during startup.

If you do not hear a startup chime after pressing the power button, see what to do if your Mac does not illuminate.

    If you use FileVault

If your boot drive is encrypted with FileVault, you can always hold the SHIFT key immediately after switch on/off your Mac to boot into safe mode. You may be prompted to log in twice as part of this process - first to unlock the boot disk and a second time to log in the viewfinder. You can release the SHIFT key after seeing the first login screen.

If these steps do not help, check and see if the problem occurs with a Test user by following this link: How to test a question in another account on your Mac user. The Test user will allow you to see if the problem is specific to the user or the system-wide.

    See you soon!

    Hi all

bought a new satellite Pro C850-1MX (PSCBZE 00M009GR) in December 2013. System works virtually unchanged to the State of delivery. Yet installed OpenOffice and Firefox, AdobeReader in most actual versions. And a updated driver for AMD GPUS to the latest version. No other changes made.

Now I tried to upgrade to 8.1 via Windows-App-Store Windows. Download was made, run, reboot, installation of changes, preparation of devices--> restart, rollback to 8.0 with 0xC1900101 - 0 x 30018 error code upgrade.

    Searched internet solutions: Toshiba ISC
-updated all the components Toshiba via TOSHIBA Service Station--> fact
-(Lien: [http://www.toshiba.de/innovation/generic/windows8_1-upgrade-stepbystep/]): uninstall some components: esp. LAN/WLAN-driver.

Hmmm... If I do I can't access to Windows App-Store to re-run the upgrade because I have no connection to the network. Stupid...

-Why I'm updating a nearly unchanged system due to some driver-inflicted where I has not changed anything of the delivery status of can´t?

Please indicate any tip/solution. Thank you!

This error message appears because of some incompatible drivers and tools that are already pre-installed on Windows 8.

A few minutes after it crashes, the wireless disconnects and reconnects not without go into the control panel and clicking on the wireless adaper - disable - enable - repeatly until it goes back.

    THIS HAPPENS EVERY DAY!

With that, I called and a technical support 'fixed' it but it always does. Clearly, this is the update. The wireless worked perfectly BEFORE this update. HP PLEASE FIX THIS AND GIVE US A NEW UPDATE!

    Hello

If you're right about the update affecting Wi - Fi, and it has been fixed, and then reappeared, are you aware of what has been done to remedy this?

I think that perhaps a rollback (Restore Point prior) and temporarily disable the automatic updates and denying HP do updates either.

If you right-click on the card in the Device Manager and select Properties, you will be able to restore the pilot here.

You can try command line tools to eventually help in the command as administrator prompt, type these commands

    netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log

    ipconfig/release
    ipconfig / renew

    netsh int ipv6 reset reset.log

    nbtstat - RR

    netsh wlan show interfaces

    ipconfig/flushdns
    ipconfig/registerdns

    netsh winsock reset catalog

    Hello

One of my friends has updated the BIOS from 3.7 to 3.9 without major problems.
It might be possible that you cannot update the BIOS because of missing or disabled TVALZ services.

Go to control panel of control-> the Administrative Tools icon, and then click services.

Here, you can check if the TVALZ service is available, if it is available, turn it on and then try to update the BIOS.

If this does not work, you will need to retrieve the laptop using recovery disk or recovery disk that the BIOS update should functions using factory reset Toshiba

    Hi Scoutmaster316,

Welcome to the Community Forums of Lenovo!

When you turn on the system, Lenovo Logo appears then black screen maybe wait a minute hold it the power button down until the accident it you must reapeat this 4-5 times until it starts to a page like this

Once you have got to follow these choices that

  • ENVY dv6 - 7373ca: update BIOS WANT dv6

    Hello

After I managed to remove the two "unknown device" - entered the W10 Device Manager clean install thanks to this forum, I tried to upgrade to the BIOSVersion F.2D Rev a dated August 26, 2014 and listed under Windows 8 (sp68425.exe) which, according to the note, HP recommends highly.

As I was not sure if this update would work under W10, I first tried the method described (HP Notebook PC - updated BIOS) with the opening of the menu equipment Diagnostics UEFI immediately by pressing the ESC key several times, once per second, until the Boot Menu is displayed and then pressing the F2 key. But unfortunately on the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI screen of my ' WANT dv6 - 7373ca "there are only four options (1. Memory test, 2. Hard drive test, 3. Language, 4. Exit) and no option called 'Firmware Management' or 'BIOS '. Because I would have preferred a BIOS update without starting the Windows operating system, is there something I can add this missing option menu Hardware Diagnostics UEFI?

So I took the chance to run this BIOS file "sp68425.exe" in Windows 10 and everything seemed to work fine except the error message short after the new throw about 1 or 2 seconds that an error has been discovered, which needs to be solved and a percentage that was happening 100% before 10 of Windows start still.

Now, everything seems to work ok: I can access the BIOS again much easier than the old BIOS dating sometime in 2012, I can boot Windows 10 without any error message longer, I can restore my WindowsImageBackups using the repair-CD as well as well as the SystemRestoreDrive I had both created on Windows 10. And the new BIOS version number and date are displayed under the W10 and also after the start systeminfo pressing keys ESC and F1. Is there anything else I can do to check the correct functioning of the BIOS?

    Concerning

Seek and you will find what I found, it was supposed to be the latest version of "HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI" (v. 5.9.0.0) I installed immediately on the UEFI System Partition to update the old one in my laptop (c. 1.6.0.0). This provided the desired options '-update BIOS "and"BIOS-Rollback"after pressing the F2 key without having to start Windows or if this does ' t OS start.

  • Where update the drivers from?

If you update drivers from your site to computer/laptop brands (for example Dell etc.)?  or get the new drivers from the manufacturer that make your drivers (drivers brand such killer Networking, NVIDIA etc.)?

    Hello

Visit the site of the manufacturer of your system/motherboard first, then check the real device

No matter what as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall.
RESTART this will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard
If there are 3rd party with their own software and drivers and the other main device drivers

Now, go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration) and

the most recent versions. (Look for BIOS, Chipset and software updates from the Maker system
    (website here).

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN -.

Click on this update in Windows Updates right and HIDE.
