  You can use the Page tool to change one, but if it will print, in my view, it would be preferable to make the two either ladscape or portrait, then use the rotation of the view spread in the Pages panel we'll appear on the other direction while work onscreen.

  I know how to put PDF files in an InDesign document, I know not even how to place a multiple page PDF in an InDesign doc. My question is how do it automatically so that for example I have a 100 page PDF letter size doc and I want to put in an InDesign doc letter size of 100 pages with one or two clicks. Preferably I could tell him (The InDesign doc) where I want the x / y coordinates of each page so good (that I don't have to go back through 100 pages and set in InDesign.

  I have a question about the return to last visited slide function, and how do I customize the system cpInfoLastVisitedSlid variable, to restrict some access to the project.

  Because I don't know anyway to keep my word clear and concise, I'll try to explain my question more...

  Version I use: Captivate 5

  Currently, I am working on a project that includes the course content and a navigation set guide.

  Drag each content of course has 3 buttons:

  1. Return to the previous slide
  2. Go to the next slide
  3. Navigation Guide (go to navigation guide menu page)

  The Navigation Guide is a small session 30-slide tell our audience how to navigate and print the pdf version. Here is how we structure the Guide:

  1. menu Page, on the menu page, there are 4 button
     1. button to return to the last slide
     2. button section has
     3. button in section B
     4. button for section C
  2. A section in the guide
  3. Section B of the guide
  4. Section C of the guide

  On each article, there are buttons that can go to their sub-sections and return to the menu...

  the user accesses any slide of course content for the navigation guide. The slide of frist that they will see after entering the navigation guide is the page of menu with 4 buttons. If the user click on the "go back to the last visited slide" button, the button will be going out there where the user was in the slide of course content.

  However, if the user click on the other buttons to view the content in the guide. When they return to the menu, the last visited slide become the last page, they see in the guide... so they cannot exit the guide and return to the course except we assign a button to access a particular slide in the course content...

  Here's the question:

  Is there a way to package the system variable, cpInfoLastVisitedSlid, don't forget to slip that in navigation guide, he visited, and only remember the slides of the course session?

  The cpInfoLastVisitedSlide system variable is read-only and you cannot change its value by using advanced actions.

  However, you may not be able to achieve what you want by creating your own variable and using the value of the variable system with last few advanced actions.

  First of all, you need to work on all the scenarios where your username do NOT want to jump to the last slide literal has visited, but to another slide. From your description, it seems that these scenarios would be linked to the fact that your username entered the Group of slides explaining navigation. Fix?

• My CS5 programs all automatically open the last saved document

  I'm new to the Adobe service and I have 5 documents I send to every email.  Two of the docs require signatures, but the others although important, don't require signature.  I want to send all documents in an email, but it seems that the platform sees all 5 documents into a single document requiring a signature that ends by appearing at the top of the last page (ends up being a document that does not require a signature).  Everything works well except the signature field that the platform assigns to the document.  Is it possible to change this?  Have the final signature field appears at the bottom of the second page of the document?

  In this scenario, you can manually place the signature fields in the first two pages.

  When you do not place the signature manually fields, system automatically places a signature filed on the last page of the document.

  Please make sure that you place the signature field manually, so that the system won't automatically place the field.

  -Select overview, positioning the signatures or add form fields

  You can accomplish this by using the currentPage property:

  This JavaScript in the docReady event:

  xfa.host.currentPage = xfa.host.numPages - 1;
  

  Note that you must subtract 1 from the number of pages to get into the base system zero for page numbers. For example, the first page is 0.

  I'm trying to solve the following problem, I hope one of you can help me:

  Import xml files into a database in InDesign (CS 5.5, Windows 7) to get a full product catalog.

  Before each product group is inserted a subheadline (separate textframe with scriptlable 'katalog_untergruppe'), but in the case of a page break, it's the last item on a page.

  Can I somehow, select these elements and remove them with a script in the InDesign document?

  I tried to do on objects on each page of counting and remove the frame if there a number higher than 40, but the number of objects is different, so sometimes necessary frameworks are deleted and some are still there.

  So I need to check if it's the last item on the page. Any ideas?

  This does not work either, sometimes now other executives of related texts are deleted.

  With the help of someone else in combination with yours, I have now found a working solution.

  Search for the item lowest, if it is marked "katalog_untergruppe", delete it.

  Hello, I built a script week last to help me remove the formatting and some to reapply the formatting on a large number of files. I am still learning a lot about how to create scripts and what are the commmands but I almost doen with everything I put in it. One of the last things I want to add is to delete the last page of the Indesign file if it has content or not. Is this possible? Can someone point me in the right direction? Thank you

  First check to see if the document contains multiple pages and does, delete the last page.

  There is a difference between deleting a page or a framework text and deletion of text. I bet that you tried to delete the text, instead of a page. Select the text and delete it.

  You can see the difference when you draw a rectangle on top of "text". If you delete this page, the rectangle will be gone; Thus, contrary to what it seems, as the frameworktext. However, in this text in the frame just the wires to the next available section.

  You would do well to buy a beginners' guide - From Sandee Cohen Visual Quickstart (choice for your version of InDesign) was often mentioned as one of the best.

  Neednt have you checked.
  If you have inserted a front section break , and then click the new section and remove "link to the previous.

  This will ensure that you will have the same header/foot in all but the last page.
