  Dear friends,

  My work: I need to create interactive pdf and including some value is preferably below I have screenshot of the place.

  Hi guys, I have a big problem, export an interactive file:

  I have a big file of content (made with margin of data and uses some script codes) and design include navigation buttons. When you export from my MAC to interactive PDF navigation appears to work very well - both on Mac and PC.

  But when I export the file from a PC - after 3 clicks of the navigation buttons disappear and are more functional.

  Any suggestion? Help, please!

• Interactive PDF export

  When I export my InDesign file as an interactive PDF does not play the movie that I placed in the document, but all the buttons do not work properly. The movie file is a mp4. What would cause my video not playing?

  Your customer uses Acrobat on a computer or on a mobile device? Acrobat for mobile does not support buttons.

  So, I have an image as a .psd in my spread which is behind a block of text and a low opacity to ensure readability. However, when I export to PDF, it does not appear in the final file. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help.

  EDIT: now I found a work around using a PNG exported from Photoshop instead of the original file. Would be really nice to be able to use the PSD so if changes are to be made to the image, it can be easily updated.

  HM, then you must make a tough decision, your only choice to be on the "safe" side

  Export to PDF v1.3 (Compatibility Acrobat 4 (PDF 1.3) where you check "simulate overprinting" in the fourth tab of the settings of export PDF.

  This workflow is not recommended for PDF files you want to print:

  Just for the screen display!

  Then all the 'overlay' and 'transparency' is cooked in the PDF file so to speak.

• InDesign CS6 - interactive pdf with hidden image may not be print

  Hi all

  I create an interactive pdf with function "hidden so that triggered" when rolling to apper and spread up to disapper and also choose a "Printable" function (button and Forms / Options PDF / printable).

  The image can be print when opened at the beginning, but after the outbreak of these image skins... these images cant be just print!

  Is it possible to print the image hidden after the outbreak?

• ID CS5.5 export interactive PDF as single pages, no spreads

  I read the instructions wrong? I have a 116 page book. When I export to PDF for printing, it exports correctly, showing a page at a time. When I export to interactive PDF, pages come out as single large pages, and I find myself with a book of 58 pages in landscape format. I tried all the settings. Yes, I chose 'single page' in the area of the layout (if I select 'Two up', I find myself with 4 pages on the screen).

  Advice? I don't know I'm missing something obvious. Thank you.

  What attracts almost everyone by surprise. It's actually by design, but judging by the posts here not necessarily the best design decision. There are two ways to address this via script. Active / disables the export function extends offshore for interactive PDF export (see Interactive PDF from InDesign CS5 always a extends on |) InDesignSecrets).

  Another method is to divide the "spreads" before exporting it ("see InDesignSecrets" Blog Archive"Breaking Pages Apart to bleed off the coast a thorn and http://www.printisrael.com/indesign/scripts/freeware/SeparatePages.jsx).

• Interactive PDF print

  Thanks in advance for your help. I'm using CS6 running 10.7.5. IM InDesign to an interactive PDF export. I have windows pop up to show the tables and larger figures. They can also be closed. Customer is on a PC. They try to print the PDF and tell the pop - up windows print so even if they are closed... Not a problem on my end when I print. Thoughts?

  Hi Rob -.

  It depends on how you've structured the content pop up. You have created as layers? Or are they buttons? If you dig into the structure, look for stocks where you can set tables/figurine as hidden until Active zooms. I can't tell you specifically without knowing how you structured content. Also, for your zoomed objects, if they are keys, you can specify that they do not print, which will certainly take care of the situation.

  I have problems with the latest version of InDesign update. The pdf export function causes indd crashing. Whether with old or newly created documents.

  First of all, make sure that you have removed the preferences correctly, there are two halves for ID see replace your preferences

  Can export you a single page, the totally blank file? If you can, then see Adobe Community: file crashing on exit - print/PDF/other, if not can you make if you start up your Mac with the SHIFT key down to prevent other programs from loading?

• Interactive PDF in InD 5.5 then back to PDF format

  For InDesign 5.5, I have an interactive PDF (no film, the user can interact using Acrobat Reader) I want to put in a new InDesign document, and then add text (using InDesign) and finally PDF document the InDesign, that always keeps the features in the original interactive PDF.   It won't work. Once you place the PDF file in InDesign, it loses its interactivity.

  You can use Acrobat to merge an interactive PDF with a separate PDF, you created in InDesign, and it would keep its interactivity.

  Or, you could go back to the program that created the interactivity and add the text.

  Charactersets are taken in charge by interactive pdf created to ID6? (Missing Norwegian SEO). Interactive PDF created in Acrobat 10.1.16 is fine, but interactive pdfs exported ID to Acrobat miss special characters like SEO in areas such as textfields and Combobox. Some fonts special as well as whites replaces missing characters. All solutions?

  There is a bug in previous versions. If you can put to update or upgrade, that you should do, the fields open in Acrobat Pro and put in place a different font. Then, it works perfectly, but would be better export with an updated version.

  I have a problem with the shadows of text on Illustrator CC 2014. While on the file HAVE shadows, appear on the PDF (exported with all templates, nothing worked) the shadows are irregular and not good.

  AutoFill is the easiest part, he lies. If both fields have the same name, they will have the same content: type in one and it appears in the other.
