Move the data from partition to partition of MAX table?

11 GR 2, RHEL, 64-bit

Guys,

Is there a way to MOVE data to a specific partition on MAX in a partitioned table?

While I can drop this specific partition and recreate it later, but I want the data to be resident in the MAX score until I recreate this specific partition.

Pls suggest me?

Thank you

Hari

Depends on the way in which the partitions are defined (the partition limit values), each partition will allow only certain values must be stored.

Logically, the lines that are in partition 'A' cannot return to the partition'm ' because the limit / list of values for the two partitions is different.

You can move the lines of a fictitious table / temp, but probably not to another partition until and unless MERGE you partitions (in which case the original partition doesn't exist).

I agree in a good store of data, everything should be according to the best practices ETL or guideline. I guess it is a FACT table, because it's big enough. A method that I can share (followed in the real world big DW) is "ELP" IE Partition Exchange loading. You can find the basic architecture of the Internet.

    The basic architecture is as

The source (in your case partitioned) Table--> (unpartitioned) intermediate Table--> Table possible target (partitioned)--> the cleaning activities (and overtime).

You can use any ETL tool for this (I won't mention any other reasons).

Later, you can delete the original table and use that new table as your FACT table, your application will be available all the time. There are drawbacks as most uses of double-spaced, other than normal ETL these work will take certain amount of resources so that other ALS etc. In addition, if you load a few current days during these activities you plan / program accordingly.

Your demo is also fine, but regular ETL may fail because you rename the partitions (some uses of ETL tool partition name, in case you ever ELP) also unusable global indexes can cause failure (you have local too?).

  • Move the data from Palm Z22 for palm M125

My Palm Z22 batteries do not hold a charge.  I recently bought a Palm M125, but have been unable to transfer data from the Z22, the M125.  My op system is Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit Edition processor.  Is it possible to move the data?

If the Z22 still works, the best way to transfer your data is for her beam to the M125.  At least, for the PIM of Palm of basic data (e.g., calendar, Contacts, memos, to-(tasks)).   On the Z22 in calendar, switch to the display of the day (not the order of the day).  In the menu, select the category of beam, choose the date range and select all from the drop-down list category.  Make sure that receiving IR is selected in the receiving device.  Align them face to face on one foot out and tap the beam.

In Contacts, select the category in the upper right, then open the Menu and select the category of beam.  Same process for tasks and memos.

Data and third-party applications might not let u their beam.   In addition, you will a newer device a lot older with an older operating system that may not work new apps.  So, after you transfer your PIM data, try beaming your third-party apps at a time to see if they run again.  The Z22 Launcher screen (at home), open the Menu, and then select the beam.  Highlight apps one at a time and try to beam at the M125.  My guess is that apps like Documents To Go might not even run, if they let u beam, because they were written for the newer versions of Palm OS than what works the M125.

There is also an upgrade process where you can do this thru Palm Desktop when you switch devices.   But again because once you go towards the back to an older device, there are some compatibility issues with the applications, databases and files of the system, not to mention the questions according to what version you use Palm Desktop.

Let us know if ensoupler works, or if you encounter any problems, in this case, we can go to the ugrade process.  Also, let us know what version of Palm Desktop you will synchronize with.

  • What is the best way to move the data from the app and Server data structures?

    Hi guys,.

I developed my application locally with Apex 4.2 and Oracle 11 g XE on Windows 7. Not far away, it is time to move the application to a server Oracle Apex. I guess that Exim is the way to go app. But what about the APA tables and data (tables/as 'customer' and 'account' created specially for the application)? I've been using a modeling tool, so I can run a DDL script to create the database server data structures. What is the best way to move the application data on the server? Is it possible to move the structures and data in a single process?

    Thank you
    Kim

There is probably another way to get here, but in Developer SQL, on the navigation tree, expand objects until your table, right-click, and then click EXPORT... you will see all the options. It is a tedious process and it sucks IMO, but yes, it works. This is zero especially because 1) it's a table at a time, 2) If your data model is robust and has constraints and sequences and triggers, then you will need to disable all for the insert and we hope you can re-enable constraints, etc. without hitch (good luck, unless you have only a handful of tables)

I prefer to use the oracle EXP command-line to export an entire schema, then the server target, I use IMP to import the schema. In this way, it is almost true. This makes the dirty life if you develop multiple applications in a single schema, and I felt pain - however - it is much easier to drop the tables and other objects is to create them! (thus, even if the process of EXP/IMP moved more than you wanted to "move".. blow everything you don't want on the target after the fact...)

You can use method datapump oracle too.

If not, what can be done, IF you have access to both servers of your instance of SQL developer (or if you can tnsping both already from the command line, you can use SQL * MORE), is to run a script that will identify the objects of your applications apex (usually by the prefix for the names of objects, such as % EBA_PROJ_ etc.) and do all the manual work for you. I've created a script that does just that so that I can pass data from dev to prod servers on a dblink. It is difficult because of the order that must be executed to disable constraints and then turn it back on and of course, more complicated if don't always precede you ALL your "objects demand '... (tables, views, triggers, sequences, functions, procs, indexes, etc.)

  • Best LKM to move the data from in Oracle of a diagram to another diagram

    Hi gurus,

What is the best KM to move data from one schema to another within the same oracle database schema.

    Thanks in advance

It seems that you have created two servers of data for the two schemas. You have created two physical schema inside the single database server.

Use LKM oracle to Oracle dblink.

"LKM sql for sql" is used to migrate data from DB DB (DB2 to oracle or DB2 to SQL Server, etc.) but is not recommended for large volumes.

  • How can move the data from 10.4.11 to El Capitan?

I recently acquired a new iMac running El Capitan. My previous iMac is a 20 "G5 iSight running 10.4.11 - I have about 200 GB of music (in iTunes) and photos (in iPhoto) and various other documents and records I want to store and access on the new iMac. Migration Assistant is not an option for 10.4 - What other ways can I do this?

Drag-copy the files on an external drive, or computers on the network and use file sharing, or connect them to FireWire/Thunderbolt and start the old iMac with the T key.

  • Move the HD from one office to another desktop computer

It is a question about moving the files & applications from one desktop to another. I try to get 1 year of use of existing & software equipment.

I have an office of stand-alone Dell old 12 years with Windows XP that I use every day at home. I have an old Dell Office of 7 years with XP & no apps or files that I have gained from the work that I do not use.

I guess the older machine is sick because I have to reset the clock each time I boot Windows. It seems to work otherwise. I want to act before the death of the sick machine.

A method that I am considering moves chips drive & memory fixed older machine to the latest machine. These two components are less than 3 years. I replaced a fixed disk damaged & added some memory.

The other method I see is to copy the contents of the fixed disk on the sick machine on the newer machine fixed drive, leaving the components in place.

I know I need to buy new hardware and new software. I would wait 10 Windows.

I'd like suggestions on the simple, reliable and cost-effective method to buy more time by using existing hardware.

To move the data from the user, just install the xp installation cd, search for "other tasks" in the

menu, search for "File Transfer Wizard", set the pc as old pc, select the file to save, save files

in a new folder that you created, once its through, out of xp cd. Move the new folder to a cd

Once through, on the new pc, install the xp installation cd, locate the file transfer, set the new pc, select

to search for files, installation cd with user data, find the folder on cd, install FTW

It automatically... Best bet is to run FTW on a new user account, and then move the files to the other as

necessary. It's one way, others, install the HD from old pc to new, HD set as slave,

with the HD as a slave, the data can be used with the operating system.

    Windows 10 is already available.

  • Delete the data in partitioned tables

    Hello

Oracle 11.2.0.3.0 version, running on Linux Enterprise.

I need to remove all the data from two tables (several 100 million lines each) that are partitioned.

    (1) table 1 is a partition table have varied to a DATE column

    (2) Table2 is a partition of reference table; partitioning is referenced on a relationship of foreign key to Table1 (column: key Table1.Primary)

As I have no need for data, but want to keep the structure of the table, I would ideally like to delete partitions at the same time that the deletion of the data, so that the 2 tables partitioned and empty.

Additionally, Table1 has some partitioned index I would be rebuilt as an index unpartitioned (given that Table1 will be empty).

I thought I would start by removing all partitions of Table1 (via "ALTER TABLE DROP PARTITION nom_partition Table1"), but when the script came to the last partition, I got this error message:

ORA-14083: cannot delete the only one partition of a partitioned table

    ORA-06512: at "SYS." DROP_PARTITIONS', line 46

If someone could advise as to the best approach to what I want to achieve with regard to the two tables? Two tables down and recreate them then without partitions would be the easiest way?

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

If someone could advise as to the best approach to what I want to achieve with regard to the two tables? Two tables down and recreate them then without partitions would be the easiest way?

Yes - delete the tables and re-create them.

As says the exception that you cannot delete the last partition. A table is partitioned either or it is not.

There was no interest at all to use DBMS_REDEFINITION to redefine tables because you do not want the data anyway.

  • Extract the data from the ReadyNAS Duo 3 to disk?

    Hello

I have a ReadyNAS Duo chassis crashed with two drives of 3 TB in it. Both discs seem to work very well.

How can I do to retrieve the data from disks of theses? they were in a RAID 1 configuration, so I guess I just need to extract one of the disks. Does it matter which drive is it?

I started to connect one of the disks to an installation of Ubuntu and I can find from the disc with respect to the available partitions, but I get no info on the file system used, only that it is flagged as RAID.

Because I don't want ot destroy all the data I was very careful when working with the partitioning tool. So far, I've installed and looked parted, gparted, gdisk and a few others.

Since I'm really new to Linux, I need more detailed assistance with indicators to be used to access the drive.

    Any input is highly appreciated.

  • How to move the FILE from one place to another and keep "Indexing" have to move to the unknown location so you can't discover its full file path? Windows instructions provide information wrong re: how to do this!

Make a bunch of audio files, placed in a folder on my desktop. Files initially sent to RealPlayer to burn, but when finished burning CD and went to read a CD, folder got seized by Media Player, 'Indexed' and disappeared from the office. I'm a relatively new computer user, and I need to learn more about file paths, how to view the path FULL of a file on my computer and how to type (create) full path when I need to. The "Indexing" feature seems to erase this lesson for me, and after having spent four hours trying to find Vista instructions on "How to move the file from one place to another", I gave up! Windows 'Help and Support' on my computer gives wrong directions. It states that if I right click on a folder > properties, a dialog box opens with a tab by which I can move my account. There is no tab location here. I found locations tab when right click on the "Mobile" folder, but still no option to "move file". No idea what is the folder "Roaming" or why it's on my computer. I want my audio files in the My Music folder, but this place is "access denied." Don't know how to get the audio file it in any case, but if anyone has any advice, I would be very happy! Thank you. PS - I had no problem moving folders in XP. I don't like the idea that a computer is to decide where to put my files. I want to control where I put my files. I don't like the way search works under Vista. I liked the XP search companion better because, for a computer fool like me, it was really easy to organize and find files and folders and had an option specific to find audio and video file TYPES.

  • What is the fastest way bulk load the data from ACE / 400 to Oracle?

Asked me to move data from the AS / 400 to Oracle11gR2 as fast that ODI may eventually. Quinte just no mapping, no transformation, no membership.

It took 50 minutes to move recorded about 4 million. I need to get this in about 10 minutes. So guys, if there is a best practice to do this, please let me know, but now I'll try any suggestion you might think.

    Thank you in advance.

Means the faster is to use a combination of ODI interface and ODI tool named OdiSqlUnload.
N ° 1). Use the ODI OdiSqlUnload tool to export the data from the AS / 400 files in a flat file of the BONES.
Step 2.) Use this flat file as source and LKM file for Oracle (SQLLDR) and Oracle IKM incremental update to load Oracle data.

Your current path is slow because it operates on a row by row basis.

Most likely, what you found, is that the iTunes version is the latest available for your operating system.

The latest version of iTunes is 12.4.3.  This version requires at least OS X 10.8.5 or later version, or Windows 7 or later version.

If your iTunes version is earlier than 12.4.3, it will probably not recognize your 6s performance iPhone iOS 9.

If you do not have the required operating system, get first.  Then download from iTunes
