InDesign Publish online: can the direct link to a specific page in the document?

I know that you can publish some pages online with the new feature, but is it possible for the link open on a particular page with all of the downloaded document?

By example, if I download a 3 page brochure using Online publication and wanted the link to open page 2 to page 1 always included.

Thank you!

Not in the current version of InDesign. However, a more recent version of the feature has been demonstrated to the MAX at the beginning of October. It will be released in a new version of InDesign "later this year." It includes the possibility to incorporate a link to the publication, and it lets you specify the start page. If she is coming...

Hey, one thing I tried, even if it is pretty kludgy.

    1. Reproduced on page of the Muse blog

    3. Make the iframe URL in each new page addressed to the URL of this blog post-specific tumblr.

Just a thought since I couldn't figure out how to make the direct iframe to tumblr anchor or something similar.

  • InDesign publishing online change appearance setting

I love the function publish online in Indesign. It certainly adds efficiency to work with documents and publish them on the web.

The only thing I want is more options to change the apearance of the image when the document is embedded on a Web site.

The black border with the logo of indesign on top I find personally not very attractive by trying to make a coherent Web site.

I don't know if it's possible at this time to change the framework and get rid of the logo, but if not, I hope that this will be possible in the near future.

Hello does not appear in the body of the document. But there is a header area you can fill, which could be made available.

You might be better to use ePub FXL, cracking it open and use files that are there.

  • A link to a specific page in the same PDF

    Hello!

I have a PDF document that is organized as follows:

Information about the main page from 1 to 10

    Page 11-12 Appendix 1

    Page 13-15 Schedule 2

I need direct links to schedules 1 and 2 of the schedule of an HTML page.   For example, when the user clicks (in my HTML page) Appendix 1, the PDF file opens and automatically updates the Page 11.

I know HTML, I would use an anchor tag, but that doesn't seem to be an option here.

    Any advice on that?

Thank you very much for your help!

  • A link to a SPECIFIC location in a document

    Hello

I am wanting to link a specific text in a document to a specific location in another document.  I created anchors named in the document I want specific text to link to.  The code is shown below:

    < span class = "style2" > CHS 314 < /a > < a name = "CHS314" id = "CHS314" > < / a > - Introduction to American Indian studies - spring 2006: < /a > < / span >

I used the Point of the method of file with two open documents (vertical mosaic) at the point of the text (in the document mission statement.html) to the anchor named (in the Papers.html research paper).  Here is the code:

    < a href = "search Papers.html #CHS314" > a critical analysis of works of literature < /a >

The problem is that when I test this code in FireFox and IE, it opens to the PAGE (search Papers.html), but NOT at the EXACT LOCATION (the named anchor) #CHS314 on the page.

I am wanting to and need to use the text on a single page to point to specific courses on another page.  It is not really do me any good to open the page, without going to a specific place on the page.

Did I miss something in the procedure to accomplish this task?

You sage wisdom and expertise are greatly appreciated.

The functions of anchor as expected.

According to a visitors screen size resolution and browser window your http://www.h2ostones.com/creatingsustainable/Research%20Papers.html page are not long enough in height to show the anchor effect if the entire page appears on pageload. Would need you a page requiring scroll so that the anchor go to the scroll position where the anchor was placed... ie. as previously mentioned "the named anchor should appear below the fold to see the effect."

  • How can I create an external link to a specific page within a PDF file? Can I create an anchor?

I have a PDF file that contains multiple items. Currently, I have to split the file in many others, so I can link directly to the desired article. How can I create an anchor to point directly to the desired page/section? Is this possible?

If it is for use in a browser, you will find that what works for some will not work with others. When Acrobat/Reader is used as a plug-in, it can work to create a link to the page numbers and named destinations (that you're an anchor), but other browsers that use a built-in PDF reader may not support it. Here is an article that should help you: Planet PDF - link to Pages or Destinations in PDF files

Have a friend who has a Canon MX 885 all in one device and when he had it in XP it can deliver direct links (instances) for each of the printers - 4 total functions. Apparently, it has been easy in XP, but it can set this feature for two instances I have 7.
