  Hello, everyone. I tried recently to download and install the Windows Media Player 11 Plugin so that I can get a radio online station to work. For some reason, I always get an error message. I tried with Firefox and Google Chrome. In the case of Firefox, I click to install the plugin, and it says "no plugin installed" without a reason message. I click on "Install manually", and it displays an Error Message 503. I then tried downloading Windows Media 11 played himself, even though I just got this computer less than a week ago and so assume that WMP that came installed with it has been the latest version... However, when I click to download Windows Media Player 11, it is said that there is no download for this operating system. Is this an error in Windows 7 or in my computer? Help, please.

  Repost this, in the hope that someone (obviously not MS, who clearly couldn't care) has an idea how to solve this
  I've seen dozens of discussions around the intarnetz on the issue of small album art in Windows Media Player 12, but does not find a definitive 'yes' or 'No' to the question of whether you can get something larger than the resized image pathetic 240 x 240 display when you play a track. Is this possible? If I play titles in Foobar or MediaMonkey (the two programs I hate, BTW) I can get album art to display 'properly' (i.e. the actual size of the image) but cannot find how do in WMP12

Also, do not rename the question "how to get album art to display more than 240 x 240 - I don't want" more than 240 x 240' - I want it displays THE ACTUAL SIZE OF the WORK - just like WMP always used to do.   I found a solution for the problem of art version 32-bit windows 7 wmp12 album also (since prior to the given by me is true only for Windows 7 64 - bi wmp12).

  Here it is:

  Make a backup before doing the prescribed steps as mess with registry can lead to a DEAD computer.

  (For backup just click on COMPUTER in regedit.exe, and then file-> export-> 'file name' (may take a few minutes))

  1) go to the path in the registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Preferences

  (2) then create a key with the name 'PlayerModeAlbumArtSelected' and set its value data to ' ' as '0' (without qoutes) (for the creation of new key, right click anywhere inside the window and select "new-> DWORD (32-bit) Value")

  (3) then find the key with the name 'ShowAlbumArt' and its 'value data' the value "1" (without qoutes)

  The Windows Media Player 12 now shows the original AlbumArt who put you in the song.

  When you use Windows Media Player, I was hurt a lot to identify my music. A lot of music I have is not available in the Microsoft music meta service database. What gives? Would be nice if Microsoft could be added to their database. MusicBrainz is a big data provider for Windows Media Player and would make it easier for information about the available media. Data MusicBrainz are permitted in the public domain and some under Creative Commons (CC) license. I don't think that Rovi has a contract saying to Microsoft data to use. I can cite other data in addition to the AMG providers: Journal of CD Japan, CD newspaper China, ZACR DBS and feedback from users. I can almost guarantee you if Microsoft used the MusicBrainz data, Windows Media Player would be much easier for the Organization of the music. Data MusicBrainz are much better quality than WMP user feedback data.

  Finally, I fixed my problem of codec.  It turns out that it is the 6.9.2.26 codec DIVX version.  I uninstalled all DIVX software and re-installed 6.8.5 and now everything works.  Windows Media Player 11 now play AVI encoded with mjpg, as well as Adobe first Elements 4 camera.  In addition, first elements will now load a DX50 encoded AVI, who had stopped working as well.

  Method 1: If you are running a 64-bit version of Windows Vista(x64), then on the button Update on the site can be dimmed, you need to start Internet Explorer by using an account on the computer that has administrative privileges to be able to continue.
