  Plan B - once you click on accuweather you city and state appear on the screen. Have you clicked on 'other info' and change there?

  Anyone else having a problem with the mobile web site "accuweather". It was working fine with my 8130 pearl, large maps and perfect animations. With my 8230, "accuweather" mobile website is totally unusable, no maps, no animation is nothing worth a * beep *. Same mobile website that I used with my Pearl and others use with another Blackberry.

  No idea on what the devil is going on?

  This seems to be a common problem with this phone. There are many other people who have this same problem (check crackberry dot com).

  Does anyone know how to remove cities in the search list.  I placed a city in the index to see what the weather was at the time and now I want to remove it.  Impossible to find a delet button and really no way to return to the list outside the Accuweather APP.  Thanks Charlie.

  In the application of AccuWeather, type finger slide down top of App. / gear icon in the top left, for each city, you will see an x in the upper right... .tap is out of the race, you're... good luck! Damien

• BlackBerry Smartphones phone freezes

  Hello

  I installed the Blackberry World accuweather app on my torch 9800 the latest version of the OS 6. After the reboot, when I tried to open the my phone application restarted. I went to uninstall in the world of blackberry and the phone froze. So I just thought that I hide the application and do not use it. However, not even run the my phone application crashes after 2 minutes. The only resolution is a battery pull, which buys me then for 2 minutes. I tried to use blackberry desktop to solve the problem but the phone freeze as soon as it connects to the blackberry desktop.

  When I say phone freeze, I would say. I get the spinning clock symbol and that's all. It ran for 25 minutes before the last drawing of battery. Help! any suggestions would be helpful.

  Hello and welcome to the community!

  I recommend that you try to start safe mode:

  • KB17877 How to start a smartphone BlackBerry in Mode safe

  It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, see what happens.

  If the behavior ceases, then try to delete the application in Mode safe.

  But if the behavior continues mode without failure, you may need to consider more drastic measures - WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload and the process of reloading OS 'skeleton '. To prepare, you should be sure that you have a full backup of your PC... Please see the Backup link in my sig auto on this post for instructions.

• Applications for blackBerry Smartphones loses the data connection

  Found nothing on the net to solve my problem - hope that is not new on this forum!  I have always good connection wi - fi and 3g via the web browser.  However, at the same time, a number of apps for example App World, Sky News, Accuweather etc - that is, I guess that virtually any application requiring access network - don't report "data connection".  Hard reset usually restores this functionality (at home, at work, wherever) until I'm TSF phone in another mobile cell (i.e. the geographical area) - a summer only relatively short distance of my office in the city...  Then it's the same question 'no connection '.  So it seems to be a constant association at the end of the cell - as-TI-a - 'regisered.  I checked all the recommended checks and run several resolutions without result.  I have updated to the most recent Blackberry everything.  Before that I discharge my Blackberry in the last sale of thought start I'd have one last go.

• BlackBerry smartphones how do you download weatherbug on the storm?

  any other phone, I've always used Accuweather, but this view does not support with the new storm that came out.  I mean you can go for accuweather on the Web, but it's not the same.

  with regard to what I have read many of you meet weatherbug, how you install?  I went to weatherbug.com/wireless and it gave me options...

  -Download alerts on your phone then it will send you text messages of sever weather, ect...

  -Download weatherbug for current conditions, 10 day forecasts... ect...

• BlackBerry Smartphones Error Message icons?

  Hi all

  My Blackberry Curve 9330 running OS6 just started getting strange messages appear on the home screen next to the icon of notification by e-mail under the time display.

  The first time was this morning when I had a red triangle with exclamation point white icon with the number 54 next to him.  The only way to clear the error was with a battery pull.  The second error came that night when I heard a long and extended BlackBerry beep and a red circle with a white exclamation point icon with a 1 next to him appeared in the notification on the top bar where the previous error icon had been.

  My questions are:

  • What do these error icons mean?
  • Where can I find documentation that explains these icons?
  • What, if anything, can I do to correct this / these problems?

  I found the problem.  It was not at all an error message.  I installed the AccuWeather for Blackberry app and discovered that this program is the culprit.  AccuWeather's weather alert notification icons that appear in the notification bar.

  3. The XML in the file iTunesPrefs and rename it to iTunesPrefs.old

  Rename iTunesPrefs.xml will reset various settings in iTunes. If your library is < user music > \iTunes default path and you have the options to keep... and copy... enabled, you may not notice a change, but the parameters that will have been reset include the active library, media folder file, sharing of XML, the import settings, etc. Check through each tab in Edit > Preferences to see if there's anything to change the way that you had it before.

  I LOVE Firefox and refuse to use anything else... except when I'm on my phone and Tablet because I have Blackberry devices. So, please don't tell me that you don't plan on a version of BB! BB is perhaps not the most popular thing, fashion, hipster out there, but they're not going anywhere. It bounces just my mind because BB is not 'the cool thing' that most of th etime apps do not come with a version of BB - light - BE DIFFERENT FIREFOX... BB and while you're there make 64-bit also if I can use you to work on my brilliant Windows 7 Ultimate 64 set up... Thank you!!
