Initial load limits
How to set a limit of initial charge in CC animate?
I create a few banner ads that range in size from 500 to 750KB total size, the group by placing ads has a limit of 150 initial load file size / total size 2.2 MB.
How can I get my files to fit these constraints?
Thank you
Dan
If they do not have their own API for loading of Polish and you can not third party serve these, I'll try to see if they will accept your announcements to Animate; Animate already includes a body.onload event which expects that all resources to download before beginning to banners.
Given that your banners are so heavy, you'll probably want to include a preloader (easy to implement within Animate).

GoldenGate Initial load to only generate log file
Hi all
OS version: Oracle Linux 6
Version GG: 11.2.1.0.6
We implement in our env Setup GG, where trail source files will be urged to target and tool Abinitio target read gg track files (via abinitio plug) and load data in the target of Teradata Database incremental. We have an obligation to initial charge of small tables, for this we intend to use gg.
Is it possible to generate the initial load of GG in the form of files (canonical format IE gg native format) of the track at the source and sent to target where target Abinitio will use same files to load into the Teradata Database.
AM trying as follows with our replicat but it does not work
EXTRACT TEST_INI
SOURCEISTABLE
Username Ggate, PASSWORD ggate
RMTHOST SEC12_SEC, MGRPORT 7809
RMTTRAIL ./dirdat/VC
TABLE GGATE. TEST1;
Thanks in advance.

MVK,
So you say that the extract stopped and that's all that is in the report file? It does not even show that it had tried to connect to the remote system. An other INFO and VIEW the REPORT to verify that it has not progressed further. Check the ggserr.log on the source and remote systems. Looking for a gglog .dmp -

I already check that the table usr1. T does not exist in the target, is not created in the source.
Go there at the time of the initial load process automatically creates the table built in the target? or... I don't have to create the table structure in the menu start the e target the initial charge went after?
Thank youBefore you run the loading process Initial you create the target table.

Dear experts,
Is it possible to use the RANGE option in the initial load options. We must compare two latency of initial load of product. We have tested the initial charge with export/import options, but we need to test the initial charge, with direct load option. for this I would try spilit tables with the help of the function @RANGE is it possible in directload since there is no file of track will be used? Please confirm. also the advice which method is will give latency if direct charge or file to replicate method. We need to test only those two other options that carry tablespace, exp/IMP please help on it to show the low latency time on the initial load process in GGOragg wrote:

I don't know if '@range' has no meaning for the direct load; you will have to try it, but I doubt it.
First the standard disclaimer: I posted a lot lately in what concerns GG & IPL using rmttask (i.e., avoid it); as you mention, native methods or the GG certainly 'rmtfile' to organize the data is rather technical instantiation preferable target. The question is this: it is impossible to say what is the throughput/latency of the 'rmttask' for the initial charge, because if it fails for some reason, the whole process should be repeated (there no control point to allow the restart after failure, even if most of the data has been copied successfully). So let's say "rmttask" (direct load) is 50% faster than rmtfile, transportable tablespace, etc... but if the rmttask fails in the 11th hour (metaphorically speaking) because of certain constraints on the target, lack of disk space, accidental 'kill' or else... then, it needs to be rerun from the beginning. All of a sudden 'rmttask' takes 2 x longer than expected and is now as long as the other tested methods. So can start the process again you... and maybe it will fail again after many hours because of some other problem. Now it is 2 x more than the other methods tested, and you still have made no progress and cannot estimate when the data transfer is over...
That said (repeatedly), to win the parallelism of an initial charge of GG, instead of '@range' you can look to the help of 'sqlpredicate' and a 'where' clause on the source DB extract to achieve basically the same thing. Run excerpts of source as the source DB & your foreign key dependencies will allow and then reproduce as much remote replicates because the target DB will allow.
However, if you use RmtFile instead of rmttask, then multiple replicat can consume the same trail to increase parallelism by using @range. This may be associated with sqlpredicate & clause "where" on the source DB to create several trails are the target. (These are some of the options available, there may be other options.)
Good luck

Charge it to 100%... you can not load beyond 100%.
Whether it's 30 minutes or two hours.

How to change the gesture example application to load a different image after initial load
The sample application 'Gesture' is a good start for me, since I want to load and display a picture full screen.
However, my application needs to change the image that is displayed thereafter.
I managed to load the new JPEG image via:
...
io_stream_t * memory_stream = io_open (IO_MEM, IO_READ, num_jpeg_bytes, jpeg_bytes);
RC = img_load (ilib, memory_stream, & legends, &img);)
...
... but the new image is not displayed on the screen. I guess that's because the decode_setup function that is used to load the image when the IPL does not have to then change the image, but I don't know how it should be changed.
I read:
... but it does not tell me something I already know.
I guess the question is this: If you load an image into a structure img_t, how can I take this img_t and update the screen to display the image full screen?
Thank you!
Daniel
Hi Daniel,.
The legend of decode_setup provided should load successfully all significant images in memory buffer rendering. However that alone does not display the image on the screen. You must call screen_post_window() after your call to img_load to make your changes in the visible rendering buffer.

ADF calendar setting AvailableViews on initial load
Hello
JDev Version: 12.1.3
I'm working on calendar ADF for a customer requirement. In recent weeks calendar, he could have more than 200 activities and this makes very slow calendar week and month view rendering.
I am therefore dynamically trying to availableViews schedule based on the number of specific week activities. If there are too many activities this week, I'm disabling of the week, month, and list of the modes of the calendar.
There are three steps that I put it. First and second work correctly. However, in a third, I am facing following error message:
java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: ADF_FACES-60080: attribute 'availableViews' of the calendar contains valid values.
There are three steps:
1 users click the arrows for previous and next. I use calendarDisplayChangeListener. This works as expected.
public void displayChangeListener(CalendarDisplayChangeEvent calendarDisplayChangeEvent) { if (calendarDisplayChangeEvent.getNewActiveDay() == null) { Date activeDay = getCalendar().getActiveDay(); setCalendarViews(getResourceId(), activeDay == null ? new Date() : getCalendar().getActiveDay()); } else { setCalendarViews(getResourceId(), calendarDisplayChangeEvent.getNewActiveDay()); } } private void setCalendarViews(Number resourceId, java.util.Date d) { OperationBinding getAvaliableViews = ADFUtils.findOperation("getAvaliableViews"); getAvaliableViews.getParamsMap().put("resourceId", resourceId); getAvaliableViews.getParamsMap().put("activeDate", DateConversion.getSqlDateFromUtilDate(d)); String views = (String) getAvaliableViews.execute(); List<String> avaliableViews = new ArrayList<String>(); avaliableViews.clear(); if ("day".equals(views)) { avaliableViews.add("day"); getCalendar().setAvailableViews(avaliableViews); getCalendar().setView("day"); } else { avaliableViews.add("all"); getCalendar().setAvailableViews(avaliableViews); } }
2. users can change suppliers of a drop-down list box. It works also as expected.
public void changeGarageListener(ValueChangeEvent valueChangeEvent) { valueChangeEvent.getComponent().processUpdates(FacesContext.getCurrentInstance()); Number resourceId = (Number)getIdFromLov("XxntcInventoriesVO1", "ResourceId"); _logger.warning(resourceId.toString()); Date d = null; if (getCalendar().getActiveDay() != null) { d = getCalendar().getActiveDay(); } else { d = new Date(); } setCalendarViews(resourceId, d); }
3. the loading of the page, I need to define views of the calendar. To do this, I use method call activities in the workflow. In this method, I can not set component properties directly because he has not yet been made. Therefore, I use EL Expression on the availableViews property.
public void setDefaultCalendarView() { OperationBinding getAvaliableViews = ADFUtils.findOperation("getAvaliableViews"); getAvaliableViews.getParamsMap().put("resourceId", getResourceId()); getAvaliableViews.getParamsMap().put("activeDate", DateConversion.getSqlDateFromUtilDate(new Date())); String views = (String) getAvaliableViews.execute(); List<String> avaliableViews = getInitialAvaliableViews(); avaliableViews.clear(); avaliableViews.add("day"); /* if ("day".equals(views)) { avaliableViews.add("day"); } else { avaliableViews.add("all"); //avaliableViews.add("day"); //avaliableViews.add("week"); //avaliableViews.add("month"); //avaliableViews.add("list"); }*/ setInitialAvaliableViews(avaliableViews); }
Common properties of the calendar:
<af:calendar value="#{bindings.XxntcCsCalendarActivitiesEOVO1.calendarModel}" id="c1" styleClass="AFStretchWidth" toolboxLayout="all customToolbar" inlineStyle="caption-side:start;" partialTriggers="soc1 s1:b3 emptyAssignButton b4 b2" activityStyles="#{calendarRequest.activityStyles}" binding="#{calendarRequest.calendar}" calendarActivityListener="#{calendarRequest.activityListener}" view="day" calendarDisplayChangeListener="#{calendarRequest.displayChangeListener}" availableViews="#{calendarRequest.initialAvaliableViews}">
This also puts availableViews correctly and calendar is rendered as expected. However, when I click to an activity CalendarActivityListener is not fired. Instead, he throws after error message:
java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: ADF_FACES-60080: attribute 'availableViews' of the calendar contains valid values.
Here are my questions:
1. why this is happening? Any solution to this problem?
2. is there any other way I can define properties of calendar just before it renders without using Expression EL?
3. is there another approach to the third step?
Kind regards
Anil

Sorry, misread the part 'server' in what you use. Data Pump is Oracle, MSSQL not. But, you can do a dump of csv data, and then use SQL * Loader. Alternatively, use the CSV (one for each table, a bit heavier) files in the form of external tables.
4 GB is worth considering:
The EXTFILE parameter to specify a file extracted, which is a local file that will be read by
a group of extract from pump data on the local system, or to specify a replicate file extracted local
bed when SPECIALRUN is used. The size of an extracted file must not exceed 2GB.
Query during the initial loading of the Page
I want to search the data loading my page.I thought that this could be managed by checking the 'Query automatically list' field on the table list UI tips of the VO, but who is disabled.
How is that possible?

Application manager not to exceed the initial loading square

Hi Ben,
How long has slept on the blue squares, loading screen? I saw him take a long time, could leave for a while and see if never changes.

"subject: House" is the address of the default Firefox homepage. Normally, she appears in the first tab, when you open a new window and is not a sign of any problem.
If the home page appears when you don't expect it, it might be a problem with your system, or something that you can change a setting. Please provide details if there is something you want to change.
How to install Streets & Trips on another computer I have initially loaded on?
Originally installed on my desktop, but I want to move to my new laptop for travel. Thank you
Hi MartyArr,
If you still have the installation disc, you should be able to install it on a second computer.
If not, download it as a second computer, he should ask to log information when you try to connect.
Hope this helps

Production OLTP (Source) to the Production ETL (target), we want to reproduce 5 tables.
Each table is about 3 GB of size of Source now.
About 200 MB of data is inserted into the Source, all hours in all these 5 combined tables.
This is how we intend to do the Iniitial workload:
After the installation of goldengate on servers (and keeping the parameter files ready), we will take and PPC throw these 5 tables of Source and target server CPS, then import it it helps impdp.
Estimated total time to scp the dumpfile, expdp and impdp in target DB is: 2 hours
During this interval of 2 hours, $ 400 MB of data would have been inserted in these 5 tables in the source. We want tables to be in harmony to both Source and target. For this,.
1. Shouldn't we be leaving the extract at the source running so that it will capture the changes during these 2 hours ?
2. What about the secondary extract (Pump) in source. Should it be running ?
3. Replicat in the Target should be stopped during this period of 2 hours. Right ?
Another thing we have to do to make this configuration smooth? Hello
1 Yes
2 not necessarily, although once want start replicat on the target you have files available here. If the replicat on the target is already stopped it shouldn't make a difference if it is stopped or not
3 correct, otherwise it will more liekly fail with row not found when you try to apply a transaction.
I assume that you will use the flashback_scn method.
Configure and start the process of extraction in the side of the source
